The Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant was established in 1913 inside Grand Central Station, the gateway to Manhattan, New York. As one of the greatest American landmark restaurants, with over 90 years of history and global name recognition, it's a restaurant that both local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world flock to. “There’s nowhere like Grand Central for oysters and good dining.” Grand Central then opened in Atré Shinagawa, Tokyo—one of only two in the world. The menu is the same as that of the flagship New York restaurant, with some 100 items that include over ten kinds of raw oysters at any time, along with appetizers, chowders, stews using fresh seafood, salads, and everything from Tokyo original main dishes to desserts, all handmade. Pair the seafood menu with an outstanding wine selection, featuring over 120 different kinds of mainly French white wines, 16 of which can always be had by the glass.
At The Zen, fugu is served in many different ways. Diners can also get monkfish liver in ponzu sauce, assorted sashimi of the day, different hot pots, clams, salad, crab, shabu-shabu, steak saut_ed with vegetables and steak sauce and snapper wrapped in shiitake mushrooms. Guests can choose from different menus with five to nine courses including a seasonal sorbet. The Zen offers English menus and a broad selection of shochu designed to complement the flavor of the meals.
Crisp white linens, minimalist décor and classic wood accents are just a few of the sophisticated touches that Ristorante Kouji Cordiale uses to provide a calming upscale ambiance. Located in Shinagawa, Japan, it serves homemade pasta and grilled seafood. The chef at Ristorante Kouji Cordiale obtains vegetables that are grown locally in Tsukiji, a popular farming district. Light appetizers and moderately sized pasta dishes are ideal for a quick, casual lunch. More satisfying set menu options are available to order in the evening, but the laid-back atmosphere exuded during the day continues until closing. Pair your meal at Ristorante Kouji Cordiale with one of the many wine selections for a complete flavor sensation.
