We both had the fish and chips. We found the Haddock to have a “fishy” taste, and not in a good way. Fries were also kinda hard. We have eaten here before and have had much better food. Will come again and stick with more tried and true entrees.
Really good food in a very relaxed atmosphere. Knowledgable wait staff made for a great evening out for Valentine's Day. With all the great choices on Biltmore, you can't go wrong with Cedric's.
Always a great meal at Cedric’s! Love the pretzel rolls and pickles! The staff is great and the atmosphere is always welcoming:)
This is a favorite place for us to dine on the Biltmore Estate. I had the Salmon, which was delicious. My husband got a steak that wasn't what he expected. We saw what we thought was the same entree delivered to another table, but his was not the same. We will ask more questions next time. Still, we love dining at Cedric's.
Only problem was the singer. The restaurant is too small and noise level already elevated so singer makes it worse to be able to talk with people at your table.
Warm , fun , great service and delish food with a fun twist! They have great live music too!
I was treating myself to some great food. Service was excellent and inviting. Food was prepared quickly.
We were visiting Biltmore Estate and always have a casual lunch or early dinner at Cedric's. Although it was too cold to sit outside for dinner this time, we love that option when it's warmer with the ambiance of Antler Hill Village. We had the warm pimento cheese appetizer and shared the generous portions of their fish and chips entree. We were not disappointed with either of our choices, and our waitress was delightful. We also enjoyed the live entertainment which was not too loud, but though near our table, the perfect volume for listening and conversation.
Superb as usual. The waiter seemed preoccupied. One of the glasses was dirty and instead of discreetly removing it he showed all of us and had a running commentary. Then forgot straws for 15 minutes because we were hesitant about the glasses. Food was excellent, ambiance was excellent.
We went to Cedric's at 6:15 on a Friday night with reservations made through Open Table. We were given a window seat for two, which made it more comfortable for conversation. Enjoyed the deviled eggs as an appetizer. One of us had the bison burger , the other the baked chicken with brussel sprouts and fall vegetables. Both meals came quickly, were appropriately sized (not too big, but neither of us left feeling hungry!), and delicious. I would order the chicken again for the vegetables if nothing else! The best part was the music, a guitarist/vocalist, who was recording-star quality yet didn't overpower conversation or otherwise draw too much attention to himself. Great service, too! We will be back.
Great experience. Live music and not overpowering!
Great place with fun menu! Wait staff very attentive and fun. Live music a bonus!!!
Nice Sunday evening dining after the weekend crowd leaves.
We haven't been here in awhile and wanted to try it again. We opted for soup on a cold day and shareable plates. The soup , a regular on the menu, is a hot potato and leek soup - quite delicious. We shared 2 appetizers - a house cured smoked salmon appetizer and the ploughman's board. Both were wonderful - flavorwise and delicious accompaniments. The aggravation comes with the service. Particularly with ordering many small plates, service is bad. Plates and utensils that should be removed before another course pile up on the table - not a pleasant sight - getting the check becomes another aggravation - I tried to get the server's attention and finally 15 minutes later we got our check - in fairness maybe they need more wait staff with helpers -
We came to Cedric's for dinner after a day of touring Biltmore House. We loved the atmosphere with all the Vanderbilt family photographs with their dog, Cedric, on the walls. The restaurant was cozy but not crowded. The menu wasn't very extensive but we shared an appetizer and split the lobster roll. It was delicious! So many places put teeny tiny bits of lobster smothered in sauce but the big chunks of lobster in this roll were tender and so good. It was a very cold night so my husband and I had a Captain Morgan's spiced cider. It was sweet but strong. We definitely enjoyed it!
Hostess was rude at best. Server was just there. Entrees mediocre at best.
A great place with a wonderful menu and great service.
Birthday - loves the music
Good food and ambiance
Quite disappointing. Food was mediocre. Service good.
