Wonderful food and service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Cedric’s Tavern offers a really good shepherd’s pie. It is served very hot, so be careful! My daughter had a daily special - seafood and pasta - which she thoroughly enjoyed. We don’t know how they make their crusty rolls or season their butter, but they are delicious!
Awesome. Food was excellent, service superb. I’d give it a 10/10 if that were an option.
Fantastic dinner and great service!! Will definitely eat there again.
We each ordered sandwiches- the daily special, salmon burger and a Reuben. The salmon was soggy with mayonnaise and poorly flavored while the Reuben was better but needed more sauerkraut. The french fries were mediocre- not crisp enough. The chocolate tart and the custard were both very good but did not make up for quality of the sandwiches. Due to Covid restrictions, capacity was restricted making it quiet but the ambiance was cold.
Cedric's never disappoints. We look forward to the pretzel rolls, and one of us usually has the Tavern salad or the pork chop, both excellent. The servers are a mix of genuinely friendly and briskly professional; it's always more enjoyable with a friendly server.
The food was excellent! My husband and I ordered the Bison burger and it was delicious. The tavern salad was perfect and the potato soup was so tasty. We really enjoyed our dinner here after our day touring the Biltmore House and gardens.
It was amazing. Delicious food and great staff
Our server (Adam) was fantastic. The appetizers (calamari and pretzel rolls) were great! Our burger was dry and didn’t have much flavor. Fish and chips was good, but could have used more seasoning. Reuben was great.
All in all, it was not a great experience for price we paid.
Best meal I’ve had in years. Amazing atmosphere and exceptional service.
The whole experience was good. My husband enjoyed his steak and potato. The grilled chicken added to the salad was very salty . Other than that, we enjoyed it! Everyone was very nice and accommodating.
Outstanding experience! We will be back! My wife, daughter and I had an amazing meal. Thank you!
Chris was a fantastic waiter, the food was fantastic.
One of our favorite restaurants in Asheville. Good always delicious, service awesome!
Tavern may be in the name, but it’s no Tavern, it’s on the Biltmore Estate, so sounds good? No! Bleak, depressing place, food was poor. I had a bison burger, I was asked about temperature. I was expecting a good thick juicy burger However what arrived can best be described as a piece of warm cardboard. It seemed obvious to me, that this burger must have been cooked sometime ago to well-done and then reheated.
Sorry Cedric, your Tavern was poor.
Amazing as always! Socially distanced indoor dining, our server Cat was attentive and sweet. Food was wonderful! Will always come back for the pimento cheese and house pickles!
Server went the extra mile for my birthday. Enjoyed it so much. Thanks
We had a great dinner
I arrived early and was dining alone. I always come here when I am at Biltmore. Food was great; hostess and server awesome.
Food was excellent and staff were friendly. COVID precautions in place. You should make a reservation in that seating is limited.
Birthday . The food was wonderful.
Nice lunch stop after the Biltmore house before the wine tasting. Fish and chips and the ham sandwich with bourbon tomato jam (ask for extra!) were both great. Awesome local beer selection. Pricey but also expected for Biltmore
My husband and I traveled from Raleigh, NC, to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We had one of our dinners at Cedric's Tavern on the Biltmore properties. We met an old friend there and the tavern was perfect for visiting and celebrating. Two had the Grouper Special and said it was fantastic but a huge serving! I had the pork chop and it was also wonderful- cooked to perfection. The service was great- Paige was very attentive. Cedric's was a great choice.
Highly recommended for lunch. The trout dish was light, yet hearty and was the perfect temperature. Also, make sure to try the pickles, fantastic. Unfortunately, the carrot cake bread pudding was sold out for dessert, but the pear chai cake was amazing. Throughly enjoyed.
Great experience. Food was delicious as always - doing a great job following all covid procedures. Make a reservation for a better experience.
Jaimie, the server, was absolutely perfect. She was adept at knowing what everyone had ordered, and she did not confuse our orders with those of other tables...
Hot food, excellent portions. Wife had a ribeye medium well, she was able to cut it with a butter knife ( super tender).
Lovely all the way around. Good food, good service. Never disappointed at Cedric’s or any of the other dining establishments on the Biltmore Estate.
Server was efficient, kept our drinks full, made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our meal. Food was well prepared and in ample portions. All current safety protocols were in place and we felt comfortable dining at Cedric’s.
While the kitchen was a little slow, Cedric's has good food as expected. We will return in the future. (Note: the restaurant could use a little refurbishment on it wood railings and walls. Something they should have considered in the pandemic downturn of business as an opportunity to clean up.) Still overall a good experience.
Safely socially distanced tables. Staff super friendly and helpful.
Great date night!
It's been a while since we could get a reservation to Cedric's; it was inaccessible from November to mid-January. The server was delightful and the food, as always, was outstanding.
Excellent service & delicious food.
Turning down the music a little during lunch would be appreciated.
Cedric's is our go to Biltmore eatery. One can count on good food with good service.
Reservation process was seamless. Waitress was very attentive. We felt very relaxed but tended to.
The food and service were outstanding! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting as well.
Friends came with us and it was there first time to eat at Cedrics. Paige our server was most accommodating and took great care in making our experience wonderful. Also prior to arriving an accident occurred on highway so we called to say that we were running late. The young lady who was taking our call also was understanding and accommodating stating that our table would be waiting for arrival. When we arrived to the estate there were fire trucks coming into the estate which added to our wait time on arriving to Cedrics. We called once again in which the same lovely young lady at Cedrics answered the phone to say the same message that our table was ready and waiting for our arrival. Our guests were so impressed with the Cedric team and how they showed outstanding hospitality. The Joys.
Always love Cedrics. The fish and chips are great. The exclusive beers are very good as well. Heck, I’d go for the pickles alone! Sad that the jars they sell don’t taste the same (still very good but not as great as the ones there). Would go again on future trips to Biltmore
Excellent we will be back when we are in the area
