We greatly enjoyed the Tavern. Food was on point, server was very friendly and nice. We were there to celebrate our 17th anniversary, and we picked a great location to do so.

Due to Covid, it was not really crowded at the time we ate there. We always visit Cedric's when we come to the Biltmore, but I must say that the menu is a bit pricey. $18 for Shepherd's pie....a bit high.

We have been to Cedrics many times and always get the fish and chips. This time we were disappointed, fish was dry and coating was different. Also no more scotch egg. ☹️ They were apologetic and offered free desert which was good. Maybe things are different now because of Covid so I will give them a break.

Great choice for lunch or dinner at the Biltmore Estates, we did lunch with an 11:30 am seating. It was perfect, our server Randall took our drink order and did a great job explaining the menu. Appetizer of pretzel bites with mustard butter along with a nice ale was a great start, lunch, beer battered fish and chips or Turkey cobbler with risotto in a squash. Reservations are a must and do it days ahead to get the time you need.

I have no problems at all with the food… Delicious salmon and dessert! My problem was that I was there dining alone and was given a table off in the corner facing the kitchen doors and I got to watch the kitchen workers go in and out… I don’t feel that I was treated rightly as I saw many other small tables available. Sure, I could have said some thing and probably got my way… But that’s not me.

Food was so much better than we expected. It was busy and had to wait a little bit longer than usual due to people hanging out at their tables longer than they should have. The food was worth the wait and our waitress (who was clearly working hard) was so professional and nice. We will definitely be back again in the future.

The food was great and priced well. We sat in the bar area so we could enjoy a football game on the tv. The atmosphere was good and the service was outstanding.

The hostess was rude and belittled us because we were late due to checking in to our 2 rooms at the Inn. That kind of put a damper on the rest of the meal. Food was OK.

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. Wait staff- impeccable, food- same, ambiance- bad; timing was definitely OFF.

We were there while a bachelorette group was dining and the noise level was HORRIBLE. We sat outside, seated directly beside the group, but they could be heard from all areas in the outdoor seating area. We arrived early for our 5:15 reservation and they were already a round or two into their experience. Kudos to the restaurant for being able to seat us early.

All fairness, the food and service was great- and we didn’t complain to wait staff- however, it definitely distracted from OUR overall experience.

We celebrated a bday at Cedric’s. The waiter was exceptionally great. He checked in with us regularly and provided fabulous service . We ordered The mussels for an appetizer and they were delicious. The Salmon was definitely well prepared and a generous portion. Unfortunately there were two people in our party that ordered the pecan encrusted trout and found it to be dry with bland flavor. That is one of their signature dishes and we expected it to be very well prepared At The end of the meal my friend was
Surprised with chocolate gingered truffles for her birthday. Lovely complimentary dessert .
Other than the disappointing trout, it was a perfect birthday dinner celebration.

Great meal at Cedric’s. The cocktails and the food were delicious. The soup of the day, a tomato and red pepper soup, was fantastic and we loved the Shepherds Pie. Great service. Beautiful place. We couldn’t ask for a more delightful dining experience.

The food was good but seemed a little expensive for the type of food and size of portions. The service was very good and food was served in a reasonable amount of time. The table were well spaced in adherence to Covid protocols and everyone was wearing masks.

The evening started with fun fall cocktails and oysters on the half shell. Next was seasonal salads and lastly we each picked very pub inspired entrées; fish and chips and Shepards Pie. Both were delicious!

The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable and our server was attentive to our wants but not to overbearing. He paced the meal perfectly.

Great place for a meal at Biltmore... it's convenient to lodging and has good food and great service. A little disappointing for the Covid required restrictions and I feel for the staff that has to deal with less patronage, less tips, etc. But, they are muddling through and it's as close to normalcy as you can expect given the situation. We will be back.

We have eaten here before with more success. The risotto was not good and fish and chips were just ok. The waiter was very good. Unfortunately there was a few people who were watching game on TV, who were very loud and had a lot to drink! Over all a little disappointing.

It was our anniversary. Due to COVID, there were expected seating limitations. However the put us in a large corner odd shaped booth so we couldn’t sit by each other. I was told to move we would have to wait over an hour. They did promptly seat us at our reservation time and the food was outstanding.

Our waitress was very good and food was as well. Had a problem with reservations and Mike the bartender wouldn't let us sit in bar and I understand because of the Covid, but when we finally got seated there was a couple sitting in bar drinking and they were there almost the whole time we ate our dinner and they did not take any to go food with.

The experience on September 22, 2020 was not satisfactory and up to your standards. Silverware was not provided when we were seated. When we asked for silverware it was put on the table in one place and left up to us to distribute it. We did not receive the salad we ordered; another one was provided. We were provided bread plates but we were not provided bread! The lighting was so dim that we and others had to use cell phones to read the menu.

Very disappointed in the service from Allen on Saturday September 19th. We had 5:15 dinner reservations for our 5 year wedding anniversary and he 100% made us feel unwelcome and an inconvenience to his day. Ignoring and never interacting with us, never asking how the food was or if we wanted to get anything for our almost 3 year old. Smoked salmon app was great, but no plates. My roasted chicken amd vegetables room temperature but he never came back so I never got to let him know. Asked if we needed anything, yet walking away backwards as I asked for a glass of wine. I chose to wrap up and just be done with the experience from there, it wasn't worth wasting my breath to complain. Unfortunately we will not be returning nor suggesting this establishment to anyone we know visiting. When we made the reservation it asked "is this for a special occasion" which I did indicate "our 5 year wedding anniversary dinner" Allen didn't care and made it clear he thought we were a bother or below him.
