   Food & service was excellent! We came from California for a conference and came a day early to celebrate our anniversary. Sat in patio and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere.

   This was probably the most expensive eating-out disappointment in a long time. I got the fish and chips, which is supposed to be a signature dish. It was a breaded flat piece of fish with lots of french fries underneath it. It was fishy tasting and greasy. The other dish was the hamburger, which was fine but nothing special. They used to bring pickles to your table when you arrived, but no more. The atmosphere was okay and quiet, but we got there when they opened. Our waitress was kind and competent.

   Limited menu, not a lot of choices. Over priced for the type of food offered. Pretty basic pub fare......Better drink menu than food menu...... First and last time eating here.

    There after the house tour. The fish and chips were very good. Light batter. The pork burger was good. Sierra Nevada pale ale was good.

    The BEEF & BARLEY BOWL for $ 28 should be taken off the menu. It was like mushy soup, and the small amount of beef was minced. The fish and chips were delicious.

    The experience was amazing as always. Chris was excellent as always the only thing that was disappointing was the salad dressing which was Balsamic and it tasted ruined and it was thick like chocolate pudding!

    I ate an early lunch before attending the Biltmore Renaissance show at Deerpark. It was a very cold day and so I ordered a salad and the Shepards Pie. I had a lovely Mimosa to start. For such a blustery day, I was surprised at how busy the place was and after eating there I understand why. The salad was a good size with just the right amount of dressing over fresh greens. The entree was a very different take on this traditional Irish dish and I liked it. It came in a ramekin with fluffy masked potatoes over a soupy and flavorful stew of beef, lamb, and diced vegetables. It was perfectly seasoned, not too salty, and the lamb flavor was very evident - a plus in my book. I thoroughly enjoyed the combination although a basket of good rolls to slurp up the liquid would have been even better. I didn’t have dessert or coffee and will definitely return for another meal. It seems, judging from all the burgers coming out of the kitchen, that this item is a big draw here. Maybe next time.

    Got Bison burger and fish and chips. Both were great. Loved the atmosphere and calm quiet. Our waiter Tom was amazing and even noticed my military credit card and gave us military discount. Loved this place.

    I loved the service, the hostesses, the reservation process, and the cocktails! May be someone was having an off day in the kitchen? The Farmer’s Market salad was exactly like the menu said… salad, dressing, and granola. I thought maybe it would be finessed? The soap was pretty good. The pork burger was excellent! I’ll come back and give it another go! The wedge salad and Sheppard’s pie looked good that another customer ordered.

    Had a great time!!! Enjoyed setting and talking with my girlfriend service was very friendly and food was great (fish and chips). We were very pleased staff seemed to enjoy their jobs and actually CARED about their customers. Night was perfect

    It’s always great! Our Appetizers were not put in until we had to ask for them a second time. So we received them and two minutes later our entree came. We alway order the pickles and they’re always great but they were so salty we couldn’t eat them! The Salmon dish and the fish and chips were Amazing! We are not the complaining people that waiters and waitresses complain about I just thought you should know! We will continue to eat there regularly because we love the place!
