Cedric's Tavern - Biltmore Estate

Outdoor dining is available in season. Please note that due to limited seating availability we are unable to accept reservations for our patio. All patio seating is assigned on a first come first served basis.
Unfortunately not the best dining experience. Usually do not give bad reviews. However the waitress was not available. No salt & pepper on table, no vinegar for fish & chips until practically done eating, no water refills, no offer for beer refills & finished plates sat forever then finally cleared away. I was a long time waitress & those little things matter.

Our server was great and answered all of our questions, including my 11 year old son's quirky questions. The food was delicious.
Most everything was wonderful as has been my previous experience. However the service was lacking. We had to ask three times to have our water glasses refilled and then only one was filled. Our server checked on us only once after he took our order and that was inquiring about dessert or how checks were to be created. None of my party were asked if they wanted another drink. No one asked how our meals were. This is not what I am accustomed to at Cedric’s. I’m going to assume our server, and the army of servers assistants, were just having an off night. Even the young man who walked past our table with a water pitcher at least twice.
The Ruben sandwich was delicious!
Food was delicious and service was great.
The food was excellent! A great atmosphere too! The restaurant was easy to find. Our server, Stephanie, was awesome! She was helpful with the menu and any questions we had. I recommend getting the Deviled Eggs as an appetizer! I also thought the homemade pickles were a unique touch!
All was very nice as usual. The waiter was not top notch.
Great dinner after a fun day of touring the Biltmore Estate.

Overall the food was exceptional in taste, quality & quantity. Except for the Sheppards pie which was disappointing due to lack of actual lamb. BUT our desserts where wonderful and unexpectedly complimentary which put my rating at a 5.

It's always cold in Cedric's; however, our request to "please turn off the AC that's blowing down our necks," it changed immediately. We were seated in the back dining area - it's always noisy (no carpet) there but the food is so good and you can count on the soup's being hot, it's worth the noise. Service was impeccable as our needs were always ancitipated.
Food and service were excellent ! It was our first time there, and we loved it!
After our last mediocre experience here I was looking forward to giving Cedrics another try. It did not disappoint this time! Our server Cat was wonderful. We had the Meatball appetizer and we each had the NY Strip. I asked to sub my potato for rice and it was not an issue. The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor!

First time at Cedric 's , food was great as was the service. Apple crisp, apple's were a little hard, but still good.

The service was fine, ok but not nothing out of the ordinary. The Ambience is typical pub atmosphere. Unfortunately very disappointed in the food. The Buffalo Calamari had very little flavor and the consistency of hard rubber bands. The pimento cheese was pretty much tasteless. Friend said his burger was good, other friend said her she didn’t like her soup. My husband’s and my dishes were so unremarkable that I can’t even remember what we ordered. Very overpriced for rather below average food I am sorry to say.
The cheeseburgers were very good. The pickles were tasty!!
Went in for lunch at open 11:30 and were seated and had our food in about a half an hour We ordered the bison burger which was 22$ and was fantastic I recommend this place they have a fantastic scotch selection and they serve Cedrics beer on tap
We always choose Cedric’s although we were disappointed that they were not offering Shepherd's Pie the evening we dined there.

Overpriced. A $9 cup of soup and it was not very good. One our guests for the $22 hamburger and fish and chips was $25!

Food is very good, but a little expensive. Service was excellent.
Pub style place with no real ambiance. Lobster/puff pastry app was salty with very tough lobster! My husband's salmon was good. I ordered my pork chop medium and it came out dry and over cooked. They re made it and it was delicious but hubby and I took turns watching each other eat! No fun. Ordered the sticky toffee pudding for dessert... lacking caramel, dates stringy/cake too textured with overwhelming candied ginger. The mascarpone was nice. Good rolls with mustard seed in the butter. More misses than hits. Fortunately the Waiter did comp my dish. Not a great dining experience I'm afraid.
I brought my family to Cedric’s Tavern and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The service was wonderful and the food was tasty! Our lunch was such a wonderful addition to the perfect day!
We absolutely love Cedrics. I highly recommend the fish and chips (get the homemade house chips!), the bison burger, and the Reuben. All amazing. All of the servers were incredible, but we love Sarah. She and the manager, Keith, go above and beyond to ensure a great experience for everyone. We can't wait until our next visit!
Cedric's was fabulous! I have allergies which the staff was tuned into. Instead of a bland piece of salmon and vegetables, they combined for a fabulous meal! Probably the best meal I've had in year! Will definitely be back to Biltmore and Cedric's. Thanks for a memorable day!
Terrible food. Tough steak, overcooked vegetables very overpriced. Better value and food at a chain steakhouse. Don't waste your time or money.
Love love love this restaurant. Brought my friend. Truly enjoyed it. Moving to Hilton Head so probably my last visit for quite awhile.

Friendly, exceptional service staff. The ambiance was great, a casual but professional environment. We arrived before our reservation time, but were offered a table immediately. The food was great, craft beers were excellent, and music was just the right volume. Only drawback was the price, which seemed a little high for a casual tavern setting. All in all, it was a great experience.
Lovely lunch but be aware that you must be an annual pass holder or pay the $65 entry fee just to dine at the estate for lunch.
Food was great. Fish and chips was really good. Salmon was also really good. Service was kind of slow as it was busy. Would definitely eat there again.
Cedric’s is one of our favorite places to eat on the Biltmore Estate. The host greeted us with a smile and escorted us to our table. Our server was prompt and gave us ideas about the menu. I highly recommend the chicken wings appetizer....scrumptious! The food arrived promptly and was delicious. Our drinks were refilled as needed by our server. Overall, a wonderful experience for lunch.
We enjoyed our dinner at Cedric's Tavern and would definitely dine there again. We had a 7pm reservation and they were very accommodating in seating us at an earlier time.
Fish and chips the fish was overcooked and had no flavor the service at first was OK but then it was extremely slow not sure if we’ll go back there again or not
