Amazing food, excellent customer service. 10 stars!!!
My waffle was good. However, my daughter order the "pastry" from the Sweets section and was given a biscuit instead - neither a "pastry" nor particularly sweet. A more honest menu would be appreciated.
My wife and are local to the Twin Cites. We like fine dinning and the web site showed a nice interior. The food and the cocktails, wine, dessert were really good. However, the ambiance is horrible. The restaurant is in the JW Marriott hotel connected to the Mall of America. So you get the hotel crowd and the Mall crowd in there and that means groups and families. These people do not control their kids and seem to not talk but yell. The décor is nice but brick and glass are certainly not sound absorbing. My wife and I dressed for a fine dining, date-night" experience and were the only ones. What we were surrounded by on three sides could barely be called casual. Hats off to the host for getting us a table in the best possible location. We will not be returning or recommending to friends.
Always love the great food, drinks, and service.
The ambiance is so misleading. The restaurant looks so nice and classy in photos bug in reality it’s just a breakfast diner for the hotel. At the tables you can see the serving window and hear all the chefs in the back. It’s very small and the booths are uncomfortable. In a section there’s a bright and huge window that shows the art exhibit at the mall but if you’re coming here for a dinner date around 8pm it’s a little blinding. I bet the food was great but it’s so small and cramped in there. If you just want breakfast it’s fine
The service was fine but the food took over an hour after we ordered - totally unacceptable. And once it was ready we watched the waitress walk past the kitchen three times and nearly 15 minutes before she brought it to the table. The food was good but the prices are a bit much for the quality. Overall a very mediocre experience.
My wife said the walleye was the best she’d ever had, and that’s saying something for her.
Wonderful service and delectable food. The wine was equally enjoyable. I just certain place I would love to visit at a future time and date. The architectural acoustics are slightly less than desirable and it makes the restaurant a slight bit noisy. However, this shall not deter us from returning again to enjoy the utmost delectable food.
Bill, our server, was great. Very knowledgeable and attentive as well as fun! Thank you!
Wonderful dining for my birthday. Great service from Amy. The staff works well together and attentive to detail. All of our entrees were nicely paired with sides. The asparagus with peas lemon dill sauce was almost lick your plate good. Tenderloin perfectly executed. Warm doughnut holes with dipping sauce are addicting . Chocolate creme brûlée was one of the best I’ve eaten. Thank you to Daniel for seating. Definitely a special occasion experience.
This was our first dining experience after jailbreaking Covid restrictions. We had excellent service from a super friendly waitress. We had an excellent meal and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. Good job to everyone at Cedar and Stone.
The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be repeat customers when we are back up in Minneapolis
Met with a friend for lunch. It was a good time
Our server Bill was great!! And the food outstanding!!
Came here with my girlfriend for drinks. The cocktails we had were pretty boring and overpriced. Our server was not very communicative or friendly either. We most likely will not be coming back.
I had the short rib hash, it was outstanding - lots of short rib meat with a few breakfast potatoes, feta cheese and two eggs over medium. My daughter wished she had gotten the hash instead of the flatbread she ordered. The flatbread was very soggy on the bottom. The outside rim crust was crispy but that is the only thing it had going for it. The sauce tasted like they just opened a can of tomato sauce and poured it on and she said the mozzarella must have been the cheap store shredded kind. My granddaughter enjoyed her chicken and waffles. She said nothing special but it did taste good and satisfied her.
We love Cedar + Stone for special occasions, the service is fabulous and the food is just wonderful. It is our favorite place for special date nights!
We went there for Valentine's day and it was amazing! The food was perfect and our waitress was really good and
I will be going there again.
Get the french toast if it’s brunch time, it’s to die for!!!
Food was excellent. Table and floor not very clean.
My wife and I decided to have breakfast at Cedar + Stone, thanks to a package from JW Marriott that included a $50 voucher. The restaurant was very mindful of safety pro cautions forget Covid and we were well socially distanced from other customer. The food was amazing my wife had the beef hash 10/10 I had the quinoa French toast and that was equally amazing.
Decor was cute. Server was not attentive- dismissive almost. Took our menus away when we said we wanted to keep one for later. Food was decent. Drinks were overpriced for it’s simplicity.
Loved the scallops and dessert from the Vday special! Our server was amazing as well. Will definitely come back.
Valentines Day weekend
Food is always excellent, service is great. Wonderful option without going downtown!
Wonderful meal and service! We had a late business dinner and we placed our orders in advance so that we were served shortly after arriving. Everything was wonderful!
Wonderful restaurant within the JW Marriott at the MOA. Food was excellent and service terrific! We had a wonderful dinner out. Had the salmon - best I have had in a year. Very socially distanced, all with masks. So glad to see!
The service was impeccable. Our food was delicious and the presentation was absolutely beautiful!
Awesome waiter, very sanitary, new gloves with each course. Drinks werre amazing as were the brussell sprouts. The fish was a repeat entree.
My friend and I were both very pleased with the service, food and especially our server (Rebecca)! We did not feel rushed but could enjoy the experience after attending the Sistine Chapel Exhibit.
The food was great. The service was not. We waiting a long time and finally waved someone over to help us. She told us she would get the server, took another 15-20 before server came. There were only like 5 tables with people so there really wasn’t an excuse.
Enjoyed the brussel sprouts/pancetta appetizer (incredible) and the steak (incredible as well). Service was what you would expect in a higher end restaurant. Very attentive and friendly. Prices are high but food wasn’t just good, it was outstanding. Special night out, I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food, the Coque Madame Breakfast pizza was super yummy. The short rib hash was dry but tasty. Service was nice and on point. Parking is a bit of a chore since it’s in the MOA. Dine in and out within 45 mins but didn’t feel rushed. Didn’t have the delicious cinnamon rolls on the menu anymore which is sad.
Food and service are always excellent. Great wine selection. Doing an exceptional job complying with Covid-19 precautions.
Every time we eat here we leave full and happy. The staff is amazing!
With a snowstorm and covid, we had place mostly to ourselves. Small menu at lunch, but lots of good choices. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!
Impressed with their safety procedures during COVID. Covered drinks, meals shared were separated by the kitchen. Bottled water to minimize contact. Server was wonderful and polite! There was also assistance from the host, really nice teamwork! Would definitely book here again.
As always great brunch
Amy Was an outstanding server! The Prosecco was delicious. But the prosciutto arugula pizza is absolutely the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life LOL… Sorry. The bits of the Prosciutto are baked into the crust...the ricotta is creamy and delicious, the mound of arugula isn’t tossed in anything...the arugula falls everywhere...My friends gobbled up the mac & cheese, french fries and cheese curds! They gave a big thumbs up to their experience!
