The food was outstanding, both the server and service was great. Farm to table is my favorite way to dine.
Always a good time here. The food is excellent and the service is typically top notch. If you go on a busy night or weekend, be prepared to wait a little for your drinks but the wait will be worth it. They try their best.
We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Did not feel like you were in a mall. We enjoyed it and had a great experience. Look forward to returning.
I typically stay away from 'mall restaurants' but the menu and location within the MOA peaked my interest.
Our waiter Adam was very knowledgeable and upon his recommendation I started with the green mountain dynamite, sweet with a kick, was really good.
The food was fantastic! I had the filo dusted walleye over whipped yukon potatoes. The walleye was flaky and the blistered tomato sauce that was lightly drizzled over the fish and potatoes was delicious. I ordered the crispy brussels & pancetta for the table and I would go back just to have another bowl of those, crispy with a bit sweetness. Amazing. For desert shared the dark chocolate creme brulee. While it was good, it felt more like I was eating pudding rather than a brulee.
Overall I was very pleased and look forward to my next visit.
We were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and had a wonderful meal with a fantastic server. At the end of our meal she stunned us with a complimentary dessert!
This was the second time we dined at the restaurant in six months. The first time, my wife's meal was just "ok". Now this last time, it wasn't any better. She ordered 4 prawns in addition to the menu item. Two prawns came complete and the other two did not. The prawns were a big turn-off for my wife because they were still in their shells. NOT good! Especially since we had to pay extra for them. Also, earlier that day I asked that a rose be placed on the table because it was Valentine's Day. I said I would pay for it if need be. The staffer told me they could probably do it but would let me know if they couldn't. When we were brought to our table, no rose. Not cool!! Lastly, and I never thought I'd say this, but the staff was overly attentive. I don't think we had a continuous 5 minutes alone without a staff checking on us. It was awkward and unpleasant. All said, I don't see a reason to return.
I highly recommend Cedar + Stone. I first went there with a group of a dozen people for a work lunch and the service and food were both great. I went back for dinner on Valentine's Day, and was not disappointed. Our server was funny and attentive, even those individuals refilling our water glasses (a woman and a young man in a suit) were friendly. Restaurant staff were walking the dining room, talking to diners and asking how everything was. We talked to the restaurant manager twice, and he was very friendly and personable. The food quality and presentation were outstanding, and the atmosphere is casual and not "hoity-toity." The food was great and not over-priced. All in all, a great dining experience and I can't wait to go back.
Braised short rib tasted like a dry pot roast
The staff was very friendly and helpful. You could tell they were trained well. The food was delicious and lots of it! I would recommend for a nice occasion. Plus, my wife and I looked around some at Mall of America afterwards. Pretty fun night!
I waited almost 5 minutes at the host stand before anyone acknowledged I was there.
The waitress was very pleasant. My eggs Benedict were warm but not hot. The English muffin was soggy. The potatoes were delicious.
Food was not what I had expected. I thought it would have been excellent. It was just so so. The service was slow. Server forgot my friend's soup that she ordered. The fresh juices took forever to come to the table. We were ready to leave but had to bring our checks to her so she could tab us out. She did not give us separate receipts as we asked her to when she took the order.
A very cool looking place. Unfortunately, we were seated near a hotel hallway that runs through the restaurant- so it was very disruptive and loud. The food was good, but the service was erratic. We received our second round of drinks after the meal was completed. Also, parking for dining was very confusing- essentially needed to park as if we were hotel guests and then have our ticket validated. Maybe they are catering to hotel guests and mall visitors? At the end of the day, the bill exceeded the experience.
Great every time!! Had a private dinner party here and it was super quiet and service was great. This time did main dinning area- nice but does get loud when full - there's a large bar and lounge area as well as a second bar and dinning area that are more casual. Great if you're at MOA and want a great place to eat. Also, it was one of the only places open Christmas Day evening!!
Had a wonderful dinning experience. All the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Our waiter always made sure we had everything we needed and the food tasted great.
Great food. Thanks for catering to our low-sodium needs.
We love this place! Stopped here for breakfast with the family before starting our day in the mall. Delicious food and excellent service! The fresh orange-carrot juice was a perfect addition with the Minnesota skillet. They use fresh organic local ingredients which is a perk for us. Will be back. Highly recommend!
We love the atmosphere and food. Fun place to eat and enjoy a date with your spouse.
Our server Alex was excellent. The roast beef meal with Brussel sprouts had outstanding flavor.
Despite the Super Bowl crowds our reservation was honored on time 4:35 pm. We tried a half hour earlier to get into the bar but it was crowded.
Hoped for a variety of alcoholic cider options but had to stick with the one that was different than we read about online. Learned that the online menu/drinks needs updating.
This is our second time here.
Had a good experience last time in August.
My boyfriend and I had breakfast at Cedar + Stone on Saturday morning, February 3rd as this is where the New England Patriots were staying for the Super Bowl game in Minneapolis. I had the citrus eggs benedict which were excellent. My boyfriend had the homemade sausage bisquits and gravy which were dry and didn't have much of the sausage gravy on them. He was disappointed with his meal.
Our server was Daniel and he was great. Provided excellent top-notch service and was very friendly. Checked in with us often.
We do plan to revisit the restaurant for dinner sometime in the near future.
