Our server (Dan- I think) was fantastic and went above and beyond. He got tied up towards the end of our breakfast and even though we were fine relaxing he apologised profoundly for the wait, gave us a discount and coffee to go. He was very personable and took pride in his customer service and it really showed! We look forward to dining here again.

When you make a reservation over a week in advanced you would expect to be seated IN the restaurant and not squeezed into a small table in their bar area.

The food was awesome. Our server was fantastic. The seating sucked.

We were stuffed into the bar area that had sports playing on the TV's, loud fans, families with kids being loud. I made reservations well over a week in advance so that we could have a nice date nite IN the restaurant and NOT IN the bar.

The food was wonderful, from the bread, to the main course and desert! Service was good. I wasn't in love with the layout, as you are very close to the people next to you, but that wans't a make or break situation. I would recommend!

Excellent food, but the kitchen was slow. Not the waitstaff's fault. Would go again, just not on a holiday.

I had the roast chicken and mine was on the cold side this time. It was ok and edible, but not as hot as it could of been. Bison pot pies were good, the focacia bread was very good. My husband had the skirt steak and really enjoyed his dish.

Loved the food, service, and ambience for our Valentines Day dinner. And I appreciated the rose I was given at the end of our meal. Plus, appreciated free parking under the hotel, making for a quick trip to the restaurant.

We looked for a restaurant with stylish decor, but one in which we could actually talk to each other in. Talked for 2.5 hours! Never rushed but we’ll served. Interesting appetizers, good selection of local and national beers. Main course choices were varied and reasonable. Desert had huge marshmallows ice cream and melt in your mouth chocolate cake. Yum.

We loved this restaurant. Did two dinners and a breakfast with our two kids 20 months and 3 yrs. they were so accommodating to our family and had the cutest cheese and apple appetizer for the kids that they brought out every time. Delicious food and excellent wine. Will be back!!!!

I'm always impressed with Cedar + Stone. The menu and cocktails are created by people who really care about food. The waitstaff are consistently knowledgeable and well- trained. The decor is modern and elegant. All of it combines for a memorable evening. I like the fireplace in the JW Marriott lounge just outside the restaurant as well, so if there's time, I come a half hour early to relax with a cocktail and conversation before dinner. Love this place.

Service was extremely slow. Not fault of server, just clearly understaffed. Place was full and this poor guy was buried. Bar service equally slow. Worst part, drink prices have escalated into the stratosphere over the past three months. A single pour of bourbon now will cost you $17-22 for top shelf, virtually double even downtown Minneapolis. The food is fabulous but cannot withstand slow service and gouging on bar drinks.

Yummy food, especially the bison pot pie bites and pork chops! The cocktail I had was delicious, it had white tea infused rum and a balanced blend of bitter and citrus flavors, but wasn't too sweet. I will definitely come back for future dinner and a movie date nights. The only negative is the booths were uncomfortable, the backrests were odd and annoyed my lower back, next time I'll request a table.

While the food is very good, the restaurant staff are not super friendly and service is VERY slow. It was at least 15 to 20 minutes between each time our server came to our table. The table near us actually got up and found their own ketchup and mustard for their sliders.

Secondly the restaurant is located in the JW Marriott and has an entrance to MOA. I went for lunch so I could then go shop in the mall, but when I asked for my parking to be validated after lunch they told me they only validate for one extra hour and I would have to wait until two hours passed then come back to get one more hour. I literally spent about $100 for lunch and don’t understand why I could not park for as long as I want as long as I had a meal at the restaurant. I even spoke to the manager who was less than receptive to feedback.

All in all I would say go to one of the other restaurants in the mall that cares more about keeping customers happy than collecting $4.00 of parking fees.

Great food options. The Salmon and the Walleye are amazing. Great vegan choices also. If you like brussel spouts, you are in for a treat. Moderately priced. Wait staff very attentive. The ambiance is both elegant and cozy.

Our waiter, Sophia, was truly excellent and really made our special occasion. Aside from her the food was mediocre at best. The campfire dessert tasted like it had been burned (not just because of the toasted marshmallows on it). My husband steak was pretty good but not 44 dollars good. My beef tenderloin tasted like pot roast without much flavor. We wanted to love it as Sophia was so great, the restaurant was gorgeous, but the food could definitely use some serious work.

We were late to our reservation but had called ahead to let them know. When we got there, the host told us that they had "given away our table" which was ridiculous because there were tons of open tables in the dining area. She then said we could wait for a table to be prepared for us (again, what??) or we could do immediate seating in the bar area. We chose to sit in the bar area, which was fine, but the whole situation with our reservation was awkward since it wasn't full or busy. Our server and the manager (?) - Erin and Jeremy - redeemed the evening for us, as both were amazingly pleasant, friendly, accommodating, and provided us with free dessert for our anniversary! The drinks were SO GOOD (Don Lockwood and Green Mountain something) but my food was just mediocre - only one of my juicy lucy sliders had cheese inside of it. The donuts for dessert were AWESOME!!!

Stopped here after a day of shopping at the Mall. My wife wanted MN wild rice soup and C&S did not disappoint. Service was excellent, cocktails were unique and very good, wine list had a good variety and the food was also excellent. We had a great leisurely meal to start the New Year and would definitely go back if we didn't like trying new places all the time. Would be a good place to stop for a nice lunch while shopping as well.
