Cascades, un restaurante clásico estadounidense y churrasquería, está ubicado en el histórico hotel Stanley de 103 años de antigüedad. Sirve desayunos, almuerzos y cenas en el salón comedor. En el lounge también es posible degustar un coctel artesanal del menú de cocteles históricos. El menú incluye cortes de res con certificado Angus, mariscos frescos, sándwiches, pasta y platillos típicos de Colorado. El chef ha adaptado el menú para complementar la cocina local y ha introducido algunos platillos favoritos estadounidenses, con influencia de "la granja al platillo". El restaurante también ofrece helados caseros, postres y crème brulée. El bar y el lounge disponen de servicio completo de cenas, junto con una selección de bebidas sofisticadas y una carta con más de 500 whiskies. From the front gate, make the first right, then wind up around the Lodge to the parking area behind the Main Hotel and through the gates and go down the stairs or pathway through the gardens and past the waterfall and pond and across the patio to the double doors, then turn to your right in the lobby to meet the hostess outside the restaurant.

Horrifically overpriced due to the novelty of the hotel. Hostess was spacey & had to be nudged in order to be seated (with a reservation!). Food was Applebees quality, if that. The only positive highlight was the beer I had from Estes Park brewery. I would avoid wasting your money here, I definitely regret it.

Our reservation was for 7 and we were promptly seated. Our salads were so fresh and delicious. We split a steak and had sides of garlic potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. Our server was so informative and friendly. Well worth the price.

$10 to park!?! Seriously? I realize the Stanley is a novelty, but that's outrageous...and the parking lot was not paved and rough...full of potholes. The serving staff was slow and nit very accommodating. The food took 45 minutes to reach the table after we ordered...with no apology for the long wait. Oh, did I mention this was lunch and not dinner. Please! On the upside, the food was excellently prepared. French dip and tomato bisque. Then, our slow waiter tried to slip an extra tip on us! I'll never go back...and you should look somewhere else.

Food was excellent! The only complaint I have is, we were originally seated at a high top and we asked to be seated at a lower table. The guy that seated us was able to put us at a table in the next room, but the waitress was extremely rude! The waitress was questioning the guy about why we were being seated there, etc. and had no problem with us over hearing or knowing that she wasn’t happy that we were being seated there. Thank God we got another waiter. Other than that, very good!

For an historic hotel with potential for an experience we were underwhelmed. The Stanley appears to rest on its laurels.

Food was good. Portion size supported price BUT portions are huge and much more than one person can eat. Lots of waste results in poor value. Service was slow and inattentive as restaurant was under staffed. Does not accept room charge for hotel guests.
