Exceptionally lovely room with great design aesthetics and art with food and service to match. Expensive but with good reason. Outdoor dining option looks very nice as well but we went inside because the space is so cool.
Love that the Bellini is made with a real, homemade peach purée.
Food was actually some of the worst I’ve ever had in NYC. Sad because very good service and cool ambiance
Food was meh but not for the prices they are charging. Asked what they recommend as it was my first time there and was told the Pescato del Giorno. I said ok and was served 3 day old stale fish, my fault I forgot never order fish on Mondays. However also had the artichoke salad, part of it was inedible. The outer shell of the artichoke wasn’t fully trimmed inexcusable for the price level they are serving.
Great for power lunches not for foodies, noisy tables left and right trying to share how many million their last biz deals was.
The food is delicious and consistent
Great ambience and experience. Well executed although simple menu, hence taken down 1 star.
Great experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and quality of food is great.
Casa Lever is guaranteed great food, attention, ambiance and enjoyment. You can order anything on the menu and it becomes a feast.
Excelent service, excelent food.
Very recomended for family time.
We went for a wine date. Just wanted to have a nice bottle of Bordeaux and enjoy the atmosphere. The sommelier was great. She knew everything about the wine list. Casa lever has become our favorite.
Unfriendly and abrupt waiter, mediocre food, highly over priced
Excellent food and service. The Turbot deboned at the table with a tomato/olive sauce was just perfection.
Impeccable service and food, couldn’t have had a better experience
+Always a home run.
Love this restaurant .
the outdoor space is so elegant and safe. The staff is soooo
professional and warm.
Our favorite place in New York City.
Antonio and the rest of the crew could not have been more hospitable. Made for the perfect romantic night out.
Just a fabulous dining experience.
Ever part of it is perfect
Our favorite restaurant in New York without a doubt
George is great
Excelente servicio comida inigualable y lugar encantador
Amazing dinner with friends. Everything was outstanding.
Definitely coming back again.
Of all of the group this was the worse service by far for that price
The turbot was excellent. The Sicilian white wine recommended by a knowledgeable female wine expert.
Our waiter was not on top of service for our table. I had to point out the need to refill water and wine glasses. Once should have been sufficient, however I had to flag him down for refills. This really is not acceptable service when you charge $76.00 for your fish special. And we had three! I don’t know where the disconnect came from. I asked about a wine, he admitted he didn’t know about wine and said he would get someone who did. We sat for almost 10 minutes with no service. When a lovely woman arrived to advise she was knowledgeable and helpful.
It’s tough to think of returning because of the mediocre service from our waiter. As I said, I don’t know where we lost him, but obviously we did.
It’s a very fine restaurant- very good food, good, warm service. A quality experience
Always an excellent experience. Amazing food. Exceptional hospitality.
Great food and ambiance
Best Italian in Midtown.
Really good food, really good restaurant . Good outdoor dining if it's not too cold out.
It’s a great place. Service is impeccable. Hostess are really efficient. Food it’s amazing. Is one of best Cacio e Pepe in town. The ambiance it’s so elegant and nice. Wine list very good. This time we try the anchovies with bread and butter, very good. All pastas. But the best , the real turbot, is one of the place they have it. Perfect size. We love this restaurant.
My memories of past diners were great. So, it is with anticipation that I returned to this old favorite of mine. Alas, from a cold to inexistent welcome, the great Andy Warhol painting replaced by low class commercial art that would not even sell on Ebay, to a tasty Vitello Tonnato where the sauce was dominating a microscopic amount of veal, nothing was preparing me for the disaster of the Pasta Carbonara. A grey sauce made mostly of flour, without any hint of bacon or guanciale, utterly tastless and even repulsive made me thing that this dish was the worst I ever had in an restaurant. Maybe they should hire a chef, and this is the nicest thing I could tell. Very sad letdown for what was once a happy and refined restaurant.
Brisk attentive service and helpful advice about dish options. Excellent cuisine, for ever course.
Everything was magnificent... as always
The meal was delicious! the room is larger but inviting and beautiful. The staff is professional and very helpful.
An almost perfect dining experience. The food and service is impeccable, the staff are polite and attentive without being over bearing. We had dinner to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and we were made to feel special.
This remains one of our favorite dining experiences in New York.
I gave it a review of outstanding. What else is there to say?? Anything to add is just gilding the lily!!
