I’ve have been going to Casa Lever for years and have always found the food to excellence.
The service even better, they constantly clean the table and replace your forks and knives without even asking. Inaddition, the maitre d’s are very attentive there’s no attitude. Love going there plus the restaurant is just beautiful in its simplicity.
Perfect dining experience. Well coordinated service which was both personal and professional and amazing food.
I went with two italian friends and we enjoyed so much our dinner with a very well cooked pasta and Ossobuco and an amazing wine pairing.
Really good Cocktails too!
This restaurant was amazing! the food was surreal the service amazing mi ha piaciutto molto vero italiano!
Great menu selections for restaurant week... tried the polenta with mushrooms (delicious and creamy); bolognese (very tasty and toothsome) and tiramisu (creamy and decadent) All were amazing. Service was amazing. Ambiance was great..trendy retro. Service was on point. Highly recommend. Regular menu looks amazing too. Check out the special weekend menu. Great selections
The 'farm to table' veggie soup was tasteless and blend, poorly executed. The Bolognese pasta was very salty and and sauce and texture was a bit like what you would expect in a much lower end restaurant. 3 out of 4 of us did not go for the wine pairing and our waitress roll her eyes on us.
Love the interior design, but really not much other than that.
Our dinner was spectacular.
Great energy and sophistication at Casa Lever.
Great meal and service.
Literally the best service I've had at a restaurant. They can just read your thoughts, it's magical. The food was also delicious!
This place is perfect...every time I go, I wonder why I ever do business lunches anywhere else.
It was perfect!!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
I highly recommend it.
Wonderful meal. Would highly recommend. Food and service both excellent.
One hopes that a restaurant in a building like Lever House will live up to its reputation, and Casa Lever does not disappoint. The food is suited to the landmark interior; every item is perfectly prepared and presented. The wine list is superb and the service is excellent. I can't rave enough!
With so many good Italian restaurants in NYC why bother with this one. Décor is relatively banal and waste of an interior decorating opportunity. Service seems to get out of sequence. Food is ok, but inconsistent and even basic pasta is not dependable.
It was our first time there. Went on a Friday night during restaurant week. Everyone we encountered was polite. The selections on the restaurant week menu were great. i had the polenta with mushrooms followed by the skate. The polenta was delicate and creamy and the skate was cooked to perfection. My husband had the mixed salad followed by the pasta bolognese. Everything was delicious. The sommelier was very pleasant and we reached a selection that we liked very much after our discussion with her. We would definitely go back to experience their full menu.
Great value for restaurant week!
We had a business lunch at the restaurant and the staple Italian food did not disappoint. The special Dover sole was perfect and the pasta dishes were well prepared.
hostess was rude; manager was annoying; wait staff was competent but un attentive
This well established highly regarded restaurant is dependent on its past reputation. While the food is well presented and of high quality the service staff is inattentive and bordering on surly. This is not just based on one server experience.
Kind of a gyp to not have restaurant week available for lunch. I know it was disclosed in retrospect but so are a lot of things in agreements that are not customer friendly. Otherwise, very pleased.
Despite being loud in the restaurant, we were able to hear one another.
The staff was friendly.
My meal was not cooked all the way when it arrived, but they quickly resolved it and were very apologetic.
service impeccable welcoming and accomodating. the food top notch, delicious, and fresh. cant wait to return.
Food amazing, service excellent, our server was 10/10. Highly recommended!!
Staff is knowledgeable, great wine selection and food is outstanding.
Fodd was very good and included the skate which I rarely see on menus . Two minor criticisms
Bread was very cold/ try room temp or warm/ wine list is very special but lacks some moderate prices.
The food was so-so and they could have showcased something better for the restaurant week menu.
Nice design and good waitstaff. Unfortunately the food was generally bland and uninteresting from starters to dessert. The excessive noise level had the feeling of a sports bar - only at a very high price point.
Swordfish has a fishy taste.
Went here for restaurant week. First impression. Its a “suits” place. Which is fine. But be prepared for many business people ( mostly men) who like to eat and drink with gusto after a hard days work.
Having said that the place is elegant.
While waiting for our table we were offered an appy on the house. Very nice.
The rest week menu was great.
While I don’t recall exactly what we had I know it made all at the table with to come back to enjoy their reg menu
Always a great dining experience.
Wonderful service and delicious meal. Ambiance, eh. A bit pricey for lunch.
Lovely spot, great food and service! This was one of our best breakfasts during our stay in NY.
We found this place online so it looked like most other breakfast spots, however, when we arrived at the door we quickly realised it a place more suited to business people rather than a tourist in casual gear! We did feel very welcomed though. The service was suberb and the food yummy.
