This casual, upscale restaurant offers innovative American cuisine including the freshest seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and Pacific, great steaks from Allen Brothers in Chicago, and regional and seasonal specialties. Daily lunch and dinner specials feature local ingredients whenever possible. The Heights burger can be paired with hand cut French fries, crispy thin onion rings, homemade lemon-pepper potato chips or German potato salad. There is an outdoor patio under a canopy of oak trees that's shady and extremely popular with locals and visitors to San Antonio. The brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays features a menu of classic egg dishes, Texas pot roast, jumbo lump crab cake, seasonal "out of the blue" seafood entrees, entree salads, and Mustang chicken. Cappy's has an ever-changing, dynamic and well-priced wine list, with great choices by the glass or bottle. Full bar.

Great brunch spot. Eggs benny was made with thick cut real Canadian bacon vs the round ham slices others serve. High quality and healthy portion.

Food was excellent. We had the Mustang chicken and fish tacos. Both are go to entrees on the menu. The service is always good here but today was a notch above. Waiter was polite and did not try to rush us. We were there for almost two hours. We chose the second floor as I like the ambiance a little better. A little more laid back than the first floor. The food choices are unique with a good taste. Would highly recommend.

Cappy’s is always my go to in San Antonio. Food is always good. Nice variety for both lunch and dinner. I had the Faroes Island Salmon with rice pilaf and sautéed spinach. It was very good….spinach had a bit too much butter and way too much much garlic, but it was still good. My friend had the fried shrimp and house veggies. The shrimp were huge and she loved the breading and chiptotle tartar sauce.

Food and ambiance at Cappy’s was great. General Manager makes an effort to come by every table to make them feel welcome. Would recommend everything on the menu, but especially the mussels & fries!

We have been to Cappy's many times over the years. It is the perfect "special occasion " restaurant for us. The food is fresh and delicious and there is an excellent wine selection. The service is attentive without feeling rushed.
