   Justin was an energetic, friendly and professional as always. My husband's fried shrimp was delicious. My special of the day was good but could have used better presentation. The shaved prime beef salad came out with half-wedge of butter lettuce on top of some sliced Roma tomatoes topped with fried onion rings and the shaved beef on the side, instead of mixed together. Still, a four star dish here is better than most restaurants!

   Whenever I visit San Antonio from London, my first stop is always Cappy’s. The superb food, service,, and friendly staff always make for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. I like the comforting combination of professionalism and informality. The menu is varied and I especially enjoy the fish and the catch of the day.

   Cappy’s is consistently one of the best restaurants in town. I was a little disappointed with this visit because we tried two new dishes, the duck and also the lamb, and neither one was that great. Can recommend the beef tenderloin and the sticky toffee pudding.

   Cappy's is a "go to" place. Always quality food, service and delicious. Great menu and very consistent every time. Friendly service, Ryan was great.

   We always love coming to Cappy’s. This evening we had a craving for our favorite dish, the potato crusted halibut. Our reservations were fulfilled quickly with our choice of where to sit. Our server, Erica, was very gracious and friendly. She allowed us to sample a soup of the day before ordering and allowed us to take our meal at leisurely pace with just the right amount of attention. My wife enjoyed the creamy Cajun chicken soup while I got my usual field green salad. Then came the delicious and perfectly prepared halibut over julienned vegetables and such a light delicious citrus sauce. We opted to stop without dessert and too a little food home. We have never had a bad experience at Cappy’s and look forward to our next visit.

   This is a MUST for anyone in San Antonio. I have been going to Cappy's for years and it never fails to please me and my guests. Michael is an excellent server. He made our evening even more wonderfull! Thank you, Michael.

    We took our out-of-town visitors for Sunday brunch at Cappy's. The four orders included pork milanese with arugula and tomatoes, two classic eggs benedict, and a spinach and brie omelet. One of the benedicts had English muffins that were too tough to cut with a regular knife. Otherwise, the food and service were very good.
