   I made a reservation three months before for my birthday, which I listed on the reservation. We were seated on time but they tried to seat us at a table near the entrance where a large group was waiting for a table. I said I did not want to sit there, which seem to irk the hostess. They did seat us in the main DR at a much better table. Our drinks and food came quickly. We had our check in 30 min! We weren't even done with our drink! It seemed like they were just trying to turn our table, probably because I asked to be seated elsewhere. Our waiter did think my wine was shorted by the bar, so he brought me a little more to make it 6 oz. My food was good (salmon) but the spicy pasta was too spicy for my husband and he could not eat it. We were really looking forward to this dinner but it was a bit disappointing.

   We had a very nice lunch at Cap City today. We had a light lunch, for us, as we were forced out of our home that we are trying to sell! Soups and salads were the main fare, along with a couple of cocktails! Not our usual lunch, but it seems like nothing is normal in our lives right now! We each had a soup and both of them were incredible. We both wished that we had more soup and less salad! There wasn’t anything wrong with the salads, but the soups were delicious!! Our server, Austin, was awesome and kept us fulfilled with everything we needed!

   The staff seemed quite disorganized. We had to actively seek out our server and ask for water multiple times. Our server also seemed to take on an attitude over the course of the meal and I sensed he simply didn’t want to be there. It’s too bad because we normally have a very good experience at Cap City. Hopefully it was an anomaly and not the start of a trend.

   Brady was our waiter and despite the madness of the Mother’s Day rush, he made everything delightful.

   We were at the restaurant on a very busy Mother's Day. Despite being packed, the service and food were still excellent. I require gluten free options, and they have several outstanding choices for me. My family all loved their choices and left with leftovers. Can't go wrong with Cap City.

   Love, love, love Cap City! The food’s amazing, patio was perfect today and our server was fantastic! She made us feel completely welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. It was Mother’s Day and we knew they would be super busy, but everything came across effortless! 10 out of 10 recommend!

    Noise level very loud, hard to hold conversation. 2 of our 4 meals were cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up.
