Canoe Restaurant and Bar
Dinner: Monday - Friday: 5:00pm - 10:30pm
The food was amazing along with the service. Recommend the foie gras for starter and filet and duck breast for main! Amazing!
Food is great as well as service. We enjoyed the experience. But I had not a table with a good view as I had requested. Other people arriving at same time got better tables.
Adam was our server, he was amazing. Never missed a beat and we couldn’t have been happier. He was so attentive and really tailored his approach to our experience. Points lost for poor welcome experience. Welcomed by someone looking down and making us feel unwelcome. Asked to sit without offering to take our coats which we ended up taking to our seats.
So great! The view, the staff, the food! We had a wonderfull time.
Beautiful view. Creative menu. Impeccable service. Fred was one of the best servers ever!
Canoe always delivers. Fantastic food, exceptional service!
I am never disappointed, always impressive. It is a journey for me to get in and out of the City but so worth the effort.
pricey but great food, great service and spectacular views
Delicious food with high quality and creative ingredients - love the use of traditional Canadian ingredients and sources.
Outstanding food and service, gorgeous view - the dessert was fabulous
Canoe serves up great high-end cuisine with a view
Wonderful restaurant! The view of the city lights at night creates a beautiful setting for their exquisite food. We had the rabbit & the duck & both were fabulous! The staff was so friendly & helpful with wine pairings & gave us tips for places to go in Toronto that we would enjoy. The chocolate hazelnut dessert was also delicious.
Great food and service. Stunning venue and views.
It was really loud, we waited for 20 min to get served and the food feels like just a pass for its price.
Second time to Canoe and it was just as good as the first. Uniquely Canadian gourmet dishes prepared with love and elegantly described to you by very attentive wait staff. The flavours ranged from simple to complex depending on the dish, but every dish hit the mark.
You can always count on Canoe to make any special occasion even more special and memorable. Thanks for the amazing anniversary memories of wonderful food, fabulous service and a stunning view.
Excellent view as expected. Wished that I had requested windowside seat.
Great food, Great service and Great view. Definitely worth to go
Although I enjoyed the service and overall experience at Canoe, I found the food a bit uninspiring. Waiter was great though and view spectacular.
I was asking for window seat when I make my reservation 2 months in advanced but the answer is not guarantee, I feel so unfortable with this at all.
Our waiter was a little rude and looked like he was in a bad mood. Not the type of service expected at a fine dining restaurant.
Great view, great service, the food was delicious too. Overall, an excellent dinning experience.
Great food which is a little different. Lovely 180 degree view of Toronto. Not all dishes will be to everyone’s taste. Recommend as a work dinner or special meal.
Food portion was okay, not amazing food but the ambience and water front view was spectacular.
Outstanding food and wonderful service. First time but not the last. A Canadian Gem. A bit pricey, but well worth it.
Outstanding view and ambiance. Service was fast, staff is very nice and at the front of the customer's needs
Accommodated our dietary needs (halal) very well and were warned of certain items made in ways that would have violated those needs. Very appreciative of everything that evening and how we were taken care off as a couple for our anniversary dinner.
Excellent service and wine pairing.
Tasting menu was underwhelming especially for the price.
Food and services was good but the air con was very cold and the staff could not turn it down I sat at the table with a jacket spending over $250 and feel cold was not ideal
My halibut was a bit dry but overall the food was good however for the price and reputation it should have been perfect. Great waiter.
The service was great and the recommendation from our server for my choice of a meal turned out to be absolutely fantastic. My wife and I were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and, the restaurant,s touch of adding a happy anniversary message on our dessert plate was a very nice and appreciated touch.
We were here 6 years ago for our son's wedding reception and it will not be that long before we come back again.
Amazing views of Lake Ontario and the special tasting menu of Expo 67 was delicious! Staff were impeccable and very attentive. Only complaint was how loud it was. It was more challenging to have a nice conversation across the table without having to raise your voice. So just be prepared for that if you go on a date. Otherwise would highly recommend!
Amazing meal and service as always
The food is ok. Not a good value. I have eaten way better food for less money. The views are very nice . What they charge the food should be spectacular but instead it was just good. Service was good but it was not exceptional and it should be for what they charge. The views are spectacular!
Service was fantastic. Food was ok, very salty in all dishes we had at a table of four. For the price, I think there are other options I would consider first. View from the restaurant is amazing.
Great restaurant, very accommodating, a few annoying neighbours but can’t be helped
The view from the 54th floor was great but the restaurant was too croude and food wasn’t great as expected comparing to its price.
The best view in town! Great food and service! Highly recommended.
My husband and I were expecting an outstanding experience when we dined at Canoe on Monday night this week. This anticipation was based upon reviews. We travel extensively with our business and are used to exceptional service and food all over the world. We requested a table near the window and were seated at a table that was one of the furthest tables away from the window. We were told that our reservation, that we made on Open Table last week, was not as worthy as those that were booked earlier than that. Understandable, but there were at least 2 window tables free the entire time we ate in the restaurant. The demeanor of the lady who seated us and explained this came across as rude and rather unprofessional.
For dinner, we each ordered the Pacific halibut with roasted rapini, crispy spätzle, broccoli crumb + beurre noisette $48. We also shared with the pan roasted northern woods mushrooms $12. The mushrooms were superb, however, the halibut was overcooked, quite dry & hard. It was not the moist, juicy and perfectly cooked halibut that we are accustomed to in the high-end restaurants where we live in the Vancouver area.
The apple dessert we shared was exceptional and our server was pleasant.
We really wanted to like this restaurant and bring back colleauges next time we are in Toronto.
