   Amazing cocktails, food and service for our meal last night. Thank you Sarah for making it so memorable! We highly recommend the Onion Soup 🧅 and the Blackberry Pisco Sour 😋

   I went here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and my pregnancy and I had an amazing time. We went for 8pm to catch the sunset and although we didn’t get a window seat the host showed us a table that was elevated and close to the windows so we still got a great view of the water and the city which was really great at sunset. To add to the atmosphere they lift the blinds electronically in unison which opens up the space to a beautiful golden sky. I got two mocktails our server recommended which were very delicious. Me and my boyfriend got the steak tar tar and the oysters as starters and for mains we got the albacore in the caviar sauce and the tomato and salmon. Not only was the timing of each dish impeccable but the food definitely exceeded any expectations I had, which were high considering I researched the chef de cuisine and the district executive chef on the website before arriving. I would 100% recommend the albacore it was genuinely the best dish I’ve ever had. Our server delivered perfect service he was very helpful and also very personable and likeable. By the time it was completely dark outside the restaurant adapted to a whole new vibe that was both laid back and elegant and by this time I was drinking a cappuccino and looking over the dessert menu. We shared the blackberry meringue with a light sponge cake and it was the perfect way to end the night with a light and refreshing pallet cleanser. I’d like to note that the kitchen was open to see which was very enjoyable. I saw the chef de cuisine that I’d read about and it was fun to point that out to my boyfriend and to see how professional and calm the kitchen was, definitely a kitchen that is being ran well and staffed with talented people who are working in a beautiful open kitchen with a great view. Overall it was 10/10 for me and I will definitely be coming back.

   Been here 20-25 years ago but just for drinks. Wanted the whole experience, so while visiting TO, we went in for dinner and it was exceptional. Small menu so we went with apps, main and desert recommended by server and we couldn’t have had better.

   Superbe soirée au Canoe. La vue est vraiment incroyable, surtout au coucher du soleil. On a adoré les plats – tout était savoureux et bien présenté, sans être trop prétentieux. Le service était attentionné, sans être envahissant. Une belle découverte, parfaite pour une occasion spéciale !

   Amazing place with spectacular views of the city. The food is very tasty . Service well trained with attention to the details. The wine list offer a wide variety of bottles from the world

   We were quite disappointed with our recent visit, especially given the positive reviews we had read on OpenTable and RedNote. The chef’s selection of seafood was underwhelming — aside from the oysters, which were fresh and enjoyable, the rest fell short. The shrimp had an unpleasant smell, the salmon seemed denatured, and oddly, there were popcorn-like items included, which felt out of place and unappetizing. For our mains, we ordered the tuna and the short ribs. The short ribs were delicious but disappointingly small in portion. As for the tuna, it was unfortunately the worst I’ve had. It looked like tuna but lacked any aroma or taste. I wouldn’t recommend it. We also ordered the thyme ice cream for dessert to celebrate a birthday. Sadly, the toppings were not appealing and took away from the experience. To top it off, when we arrived, we noticed several empty tables with great views. We assumed they were reserved, only to later see walk-in customers being seated there — quite upsetting, as we were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we likely won’t return. There are better options in the same price range that offer more value and consistency.

   Always a great view and had charming server. Steak tartare app was good. My wife ordered lamb and I ordered the duck. Unfortunately my duck came at barely room temperature although her lamb was fine. Sent the duck back and received a fresh meal, that was actually hot. Thought the restaurant, since they messed up and ruined the flow/enjoyment of our experience might have done a little something extra to make up for it. Nothing, no complimentary dessert or coffee, zero. Most restaurants make a gesture in these circumstances. Disappointing in a restaurant of this level and at this price point. Usually go a few times a year but hard time going back now.

    The food was okay, nothing special. However, when I inquired about a particular dish, whether it was spicy, our waiter assured me it wasn't. Well, in fact, it was spicy, and I couldn't eat it. The waiter didn't apologize and didn't offer to make it up to me. I expected a far better service in a place like this. It was disappointing.
