   Food and ambience is outstanding. They seem to be struggling with staff. Staff was courteous but they are short staffed.

   Beautiful place! We ate out on the patio! One of the Mother's Day specials was salmon and it was delicious. Excellent Service. Shelton, our waiter, was very attentive.

   The Hostess was NOT welcoming at all. We felt like we were bothering her. No smile or welcome from her at all. Also, the young man behind the counter (bakery), was not nice at all. We hated to "bother" him by ordering a cookie or muffin. The wait staff and store staff were as kind as can be. The food was very good!

   Easily the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Next time try the Colossal Chicken Sandwich! We like that the restaurant is seed oil free and everything on the menu is good. I have a hard time deciding what to get. Shelton was our server and did a great job.

   Overall, we have been many times and the atmosphere, service and food are all excellent. Enjoy fresh soups, pastrami sandwich, hamburgers, fried pickles and onion rings. They also have a special made to order dessert bar and homemade ice cream. Everything thing is so good it’s hard to decide if you want to stick with the same thing or try something different. It’s the one place to visit if you haven’t been there when you are in town. Remember to book your reservation because it’s always crowded. Visit the General Store next door for some great gifts.

    As always the restaurant was clean and neat, great table service, and food was excellently prepared. Took yummy dessert to enjoy later in day. Highly recommend.
