Everything was perfect! Very clean, comfortable, and friendly. We even brought extra food home for dinner. Highly recommend. Even for picky eaters like my son was impressed. Loved our Father's day experience.
Love the French Toast! Will have it again next time!
I found the staff in each section and the restaurant to absolutely go above and beyond. Service and help was like it was when I grew up in a small town many years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to such a lovely place inside and outside.
I always enjoy eating at Camp Verde plus doing a little shopping. The food is great with wonderful service. I highly recommend it to my friends.
great food, great ambiance, perfect amenities, go to place to bring out of town guests
This is a lovely place with a very interesting history. The food was very good and presented beautifully. We had a terrific waitress who was not only friendly and efficient, but helpful with selections.
This has been a favorite lunch spot for some years. Yesterday’s visit showed me that the food has gone downhill. Enormous sandwiches are now ordinary in size. Homemade potato chips which we always looked forward to now seem to come out of a bag.
We will stop here less often in the future.
The place is still beautiful.
Great restaurant with very nice atmosphere. Food was terrific, and the staff is attentive and very friendly. Very clean, and the back garden is very nice. Worth the drive out there because the views are wonderful, and just a really nice place to go. Everyone in our party loved the food.
The food was great and our waitress Debbie was excellent.
One of out favorite stops.
Another excellent breakfast at Camp Verde Restaurant. Juliana was our server and did a great job of pacing the meal and keeping our coffee cups full of their excellent Lavazza coffee. We both had our usual Cheesy Grits Bowl and, as usual, enjoyed it very much.
This is an excellent venue with inside or outside dining, good food at reasonable prices and great service.
Been here several times. Never disappoints. Great food and atmosphere.
We like places with rustic character and in places with little traffic.
Quick service, good food, and beautiful facility.
Meet an old friend who also loves Camp Verde. As usual food perfect, service perfect and wonderful atmosphere.
Everything was excellent: service, food, ambience.
Location is great, food is mediocre .
Breakfast was cold, service slow, waitress was in a bad mood.
Good food, beautiful setting, inviting dining room.
My husband loved his cream covered chicken. I didn't just love my chicken strips. Seemed predone not "real."
Met with friends from Houston, and this restaurant is a perfect place to visit and enjoy the great food. Service was excellent and we were not rushed. Will be back👌
Nice place. Good food, reasonable prices, great service. We eat there whenever we're in the vicinity and particularly when celebrating a occasion. Just a really neat place to go.
Always good food and friendly service. This time we had the OoLaLa, the messy burger, the meatloaf, and the Hotsy Totsy - all excellent...and an banana cream pie to go.
The manager was very polite and friendly and came to our table to answer some questions about the food. Love this place!
I reserved a table in case it was crowded bc we had. Special occasion. While j’s it was not crowded, I did state that I had a reservation, but was not asked what name it was under so they did not see what the special occasion was. Our server was absolutely the worst—someone that should be working at a fast food restaurant, not Camp Verde. I have been to this restaurant on many occasions, and this was by far the most awful experience. He would not make eye contact when we ordered, and when I requested the chai tea latte that I had ordered on my previous trip to the restaurant (about a month ago), he stated that they did not have that. Didn’t bother to ask anyone else, even when I said that I had just had the drink recently. Nor did he say that they had removed it from the menu, just stared blankly off past my right shoulder and waited for me to move on. Then, after we ordered and our food finally came out (about 45 minutes later, after people who had gotten there after us were already served), he simply dropped our food off, and never returned to ask how everything tasted or if we needed anything further. This was probably a good thing for him because while my breakfast taco was quite good, as per usual, my French toast had the worst tasting syrup I’ve ever come across in my life. I’m quite sure that they mixed up dog soap into the syrup bc it had quite a specific flavor of dog in it. So needless to say, it was a sub-par experience. Do not recommend, or at least, do not recommend our waiter nor the French toast syrup.
Great people working here! Cheerful, welcoming, eager to delight. Food is good, building is lovely. Two stories of great shopping! Not your average gift shop.
Great food and service from Patty was excellent! Would definitely recommend!
Camp Verde restaurant and store are a MUST for visitors and residents of the Hill Country area! The menu is extensive and will please all appetites, plus they have GF bread! After a so-delicious lunch, exploring the extensive store offerings is great fun. I was particularly impressed with the high-end candles they offer.
The food was wonderful. Our sever, Waldo, was very attentive. Exemplary service.
We always love a visit to Camp Verde! Debbie is usually our gal and she gives us superb service and her recommendations are spot on, each time! Special treats: the vanilla latte - EXCELLENT! The meatloaf with sweet potatoe fries - AMAZING! The key lime pie if they have it - AWESOME! Chicken Fried Steak - SUPERB!
Special notes about Debbie: She is attentive, sweet and a treasure to Camp Verde!
Always friendly staff and good (real) food well prepared and presented.
Excellent, as always. My favorite place to take visitors.
Lovely day! The food was good and the atmosphere was great. My only complaint is the staff, three of them, said they were not vaccinated and will never be vaccinated.
The food was good. Our waitress was way too chatty. She just talked our ear off. It was really annoying. Being friendly is one thing but she was beyond friendly.
This restaurant creates memories of good food served in a charming atmosphere by exceptional wait staff. I highly recommend them.
We had out of town company and decided the short drive from San Antonio to Camp Verde would be the perfect outing. It is a lovely destination because the food and service is always excellent.
The food is always fresh and good!
My fave breakfast and lunch place.
We really enjoyed our meal and the quick service, lovely grounds and amazing store.
Great experience! Charming and delicious!
loved that we didn't have to wear a mask! thank you for being sane!
