Holidays-Special Days. Most times are overwhelming for a Restaurant. Make a reservation for 7:30 you get seated around 8:00 or later special menu not so special and most times overpriced.parking another problem. So your special days dinner is a little letdown .Lets fast forward to V day at Camilles Parking -no problem-Reservation-on time-Special menu-Well thought out and every dish consistent (I look around) Drinks on time and how they should be,Lets say when you have had one you know it,not so other places.Wait staff knows what there doing and I think they shine on days like this as they say the cream always comes to the top-so again I say way to go Camilles -Your the Top-Your the Mona Lisa-Don’t look back-somebody might be gaining on you! We visited this time on Valentine's Day. We have been to Camille's before and loved our experience and the quality of food. This time we were disappointed with the quality of the food. Knowing some restaurants have limited menus on holidays we went in expecting that but did expect the food to still be the same quality as a usual, know ever that was not the case. I ordered the scallop and risotto dish and it was lacking in flavor and the scallops were not the usual size and portion. My husband ordered the lobster bake dish they had that night and it was over salted and not a good value for what you received.
We love Camille's and will know next time not to go on a holiday,but it is still disappointing that they can't deliver the same quality on a special occasion.
Had 5:30 reservations for Valentine’s Day. Ended up getting caught in traffic getting into the city since there was a Friars game. I called up to let them know if it they would cancel my reservation if I was late being such a busy night. They were able to push it back 15 minutes for me which was great. Wouldn’t have been able to get dinner anywhere last minute and would have just ended up going home. That was very courteous of them and they didn’t have to do that. Very professional.
My wife, son and myself went to Camille’s tonight for Valentine’s Day. We chose Camille’s because my wife and I went there a few weeks ago and had an outstanding culinary experience. Tonight was very different. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass over risotto. The fish was good however he dish was missing the spinach and the risotto was inedible. It tasted and looked like instant white rice mixed with the bottom of a can of crushed tomatoes. Since we had our small child with us our reservation was very early at 4:30. I’m assuming since it was so early that the chef hadn’t fully finished preparing the risotto (allow it to thicken) for the night.
I ended up paying a total including gratuity of $170 to leave unsatisfied and still hungry as the majority of my dinner should never have been served and was quite frankly disgusting.
I went to Camille's for a business dinner on Tuesday this week and again I loved it. I have been here several times in the last sereval months and have not be disappointed at all. The bar is nice. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. The dining room is spacious so you are not sitting directly next to the next table so you can have a semi-private conversation with no issues. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. For an app, I had the pasta fagoili soup which was excellent and hot. For dinner, I went with classic veal parmesan made with exptra red pepper flakes baked into the dinner. As always, they delivered. Loved it and no room for dessert.

First time at Camille's and I am sorry it took this long for me to go here. It was outstanding! Loved the authentic cuisine as well as creative takes on many dishes!
Loved the atmosphere as well. The host was extremely friendly with regulars and newbies alike! I felt like family.
We have been to Camille's multiple times and it seems to get better every time if that is possible. Our server Dave was exceptional and really was a big factor in such a good meal experience. He was very attentive and personable. The manager stopped over to check on us and it was authentic, not just a check the box routine. We both ordered specials. My wife had a lobster/seafood special and I had the veal chop. Both meals were excellent which not only tasted phenomenal but were good size portions. We finished the meal off splitting some tiramisu which is made in house.
Do yourself a favor and try this place at least once. I'd be very surprised if you walked away disappointed. I am already looking forward to getting back there again.
We had excellent service and a delicious meal. The specials were exciting and two of us got the staple veal Parm and it was large and delicious. We had a nice Chardonnay a nice Pinot noir in a nice read Zen all recommended by our waiter who did a fabulous job. We will be back
We had a Wonderful dinner.The waiter was on his A game and the kitchen led by head Chef Michael was full of great things coming our way. From the surprise special appetizer a gnocchi with clams and bacon outstanding and could easily be on the regular menu to the main meal which was also off menu which I will not defulge but is found in most Restaurants from Naples to Amalfi followed by an exquisite zabaione that was outstanding I can only say to the entire staff another Wonderful job My wife and I thank you immensely. Well Done!!
We went to Camille's for my birthday get together with the girls. The staff were all very pleasant. My pasta fra diavlo had very little sauce and was not spicy at all. Once we were able to get the waiter back at to the table, he was able to get me additional sauce and it was the correct one(I think originally they put marinera sauce by mistake). Waiter was nice, just not as attentive as usual.
It was a very busy Saturday evening when activity is at its peak from the Valet parking to the bar.kitchen,main dining room with wait staff including busboys working the room completely full all night. And how was it handeled-Without a hitch!!Valet was prompt greeting on arrival was casual and plesent seating was as per the reservation bus staff spot on and the wait staff on top of the action making you feel as you were the only people there.The meal was grand spaced perfectly between courses Halibut special presentation perfect the Lasagne wonderful and again consistent lastly would just take a moment to say the wait staff is extraordinarily at this Restaurant with a Capitol E. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional and of course the people you never see the kitchen to have every dish on a busy Saturday come out with such care is a testament to the head chef. Bravo to all. Salute
Outstanding meal. Saturday night meeting our son for dinner. My wife had a fine pasta dish, my son had the stuffed veal, and I had the best lamb chops that I have eaten (and lamb is my first choice when going out to eat). Complete satisfaction. Better yet knowing that there was extra room in the restaurant as the Steelers had to cancel their appearance after getting beaten by Jacksonville the previous weekend.
Best Italian restaurant I have been to, the service is impeccable. I had the pleasure to have Steve looking out for me and he was excellent. I started with the soup, if you're a soup fan..do not miss out. I couldn't make up my mind between gnocchi or rapatelle pasta, Steve suggested to ask if they would give me half orders of each so I can try them all. I was beyond happy. Food heaven
My absolutely favorite place to be. Old school top notch service. Steve is our regular waiter and is knowledgeable on every item. Steve explains in detail every ingredient in the dish. Makes them all sound so good and want to order them all. Your entree is beautifully presented and taste like it looks. You'll want to lick the dish haha Portion size is more than most can finish. Deserts are just as great. But the spumoni is a classic and will bring you back to Nanas house. We go often and have never had a bad experience. Writing this makes me want to make a reservation now.
Would first like to thank Chef Michael on our Wonderful appetizer he created for us Bravo!I mean where do you go to have the chef make something special out of the blue. The wait staff was Grande the drinks spot on and the meal was better than good.from the greeting to the valet parking another wonderful time at Camilles-When you want to dine out and feel like your special this is the place for you because it’s not just the meal it’s the whole ball of wax
When you dine you have unlimited choices and Atwell Ave is loaded with choices.It is Italian on Steroids.So what do they have to do to have you remember the experience and keep you coming back?It's Service,Honest drinks,Meals as you want them,space between courses (important) feel relaxed,converse with the waiter and feel like you have had a great meal This and more is what you will experience at Camilles But what do I know I've only been going there for fourty five years provalo,non rimarrai deluso Grazie
Been here twice in the last month, once for a celebration and again for a date night, and we have fallen in love with this place. We love the atmosphere and the servers are always nice and talkative always making sure you are taken care of. The food and portion size is astounding we always take home leftovers. Their meatballs are as big as your fist and the gnocchi in the creamy vodka sauce is amazing as both a meal with chicken added or split as an appetizer because of the sheer amount you recieve. And make sure you save room for dessert as their dark chocolate cake is to die for.
