   Visited The Village Cafe Concerto in Westfield Shepherds Bush. Very nice ambience. The staff were very efficient and professional. I had the veggie burger (halloumi) which was excellent. My niece had the chicken and mushroom risotto which she loved, and my sister enjoyed her spaghetti carbonara. The Golden Latte was superb.

   Have had afternoon tea at Caffé Concerto previously (The Grand - Village, London Westfield Shepherds Bush branch) and it was a great experience! Returned back, but it was a very different experience. The service was not as friendly, had to wait a while for service/food even though not place not busy. many customers at the time. The sandwiches were quite basic, and didn’t resemble my previous experience even though it was the same afternoon tea package. They had in fact not provided the entire selection listed (only discovered after the event when I checked) - so quite disappointing for Caffé Concerto. So disappointed with food, quantity and service - and I do like this place so even more disappointing. Staff didn’t seem to care about their customers. After visit I told others how nice the afternoon was. After this visit I won’t be.

   The most disappointing and sad meal I have ever had. It was Sunday in a shopping centre and they had 3 people serving. I had taken my little sister there for a 'special birthday meal' as I hadd stated in the booking as it looked nice and after looking at the reviews, decided to make a judgement for myself. I wish I had have listened to the negative reviews and shied away from the beginning as they did nothing to make this a 'nice birthday meal' for her. We were sat down and eventually got drinks after about 20 minutes which we were then not asked again if we wanted any more. My Sister ordered a pizza which the dough was raw and full of grease on the top. I ordered the tartine selection and made them aware that I would be wanting to swap out the salt beef for an olive tapenade as I don't eat meat. They bought me out a parma ham one. I explained I didn't ask for this, I asked for the olives to which I felt like the waiter argued it with me and said 'you told me you didn't want salt beef so we bought you ham, its not salt beef!' I kindly replied I don't eat meat hence my ask. He took the bit of bread away and bought back the same piece, with the Parma ham pealed off the top and with 4 olives placed on the top. It was at this point I'd had enough. The salad you receive with it is a handful of rocket with no dressing either. Safe to say, I wont be going back, I paid £60 for 4 slices of baguette and a raw pizza and wish I had have had a happy meal instead.

   Service felt a bit slow and not very attentive. Someone had a toddler who was watching you the on full volume which was very odd putting. Food was lovely.

   Despite being informed that vegan options were available when booking and reiterating this to the server, I was disappointed to receive food items that were not vegan. When I raised the issue with the assistant, she initially claimed there were no vegan or eggless cakes available. After insisting, she finally checked and found that vegan options were indeed on the menu. Although the atmosphere was pleasant, the service we received fell short of expectations. Our orders were riddled with errors, and the assistants seemed more inclined to argue than assist.

   I never turned up for my reservation because I found the manager so blunt and not very accommodating on the phone. To me, he sounded Asian/Filipino (I could be wrong but I am Filipino and his accent sounded familiar to me) but I called 15 minutes before to say my family was running late due to traffic issues we encountered on the way into Westfield White City. I said we were going to be late around 10-15 minutes as we were very close by but just stuck in some traffic. Then he proceeded to tell me in such a condescending tone that Saturday is their busy day, he cannot hold the table so needs a new time to book the table for, if we're late, they'll have to give the table to someone else, as a manager he has authority to do this...I KNOW THIS! I just called to say we're nearby but just gave me barely enough time on the phone to talk and continued to repeat all the points I said above. He gave my family such an off vibe from the way he spoke to me that they all had second thoughts about going, so we went elsewhere. Never visiting this branch in the future.

    Lovely spot with lots to choose from, the food and drink was amazing and so was the live music The service was poor though we had to call the staff over every single time we wanted something. They were not attentive. This let the experience down but it was still a great afternoon/evening
