   We were sat in a back section of the restaurant. There was a large table there w a screaming 2 year old. I’m not sure how to handle a situation such as this but it kinda ruined dinner. Our waiter was distant and seemed upset if we had any questions, he also put our check down on the table at the same time we got our dessert. Not the service i expected at a restaurant w your reputation. Positive note, the food was tremendous!

   Cafe Marquesa is one of the few places I can steadily rely on in Key West to have an amazing meal. I have never been let down by the service nor the food. From the historic Shrimp and Grits to the Oso Bucco or Filet Oscar. When you look at the prices you may be startled, but I promise you... every bite and every course is well worth it. And the crafted cocktails just add to the experience. When in Key West do your best to make it to Cafe Marquesa. You will not be let down.

    Anniversary, limited menu… but what we had was done to perfection… beef tenderloin and veal dishes. They gave us a complimentary desert… for our anniversary… absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable! Big thanks to the entire team! John and Yelitza Burgess.

    First restaurant I’ve been to with 2 entrees on the menu over $80. I eat In Manhattan often and don’t come across that. Food was good, but not that good. They need to throw a chicken or pasta meal on there for tourists who come in unknowingly.

    Can’t say enough. One of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. Chilled crab cake appetizer was great. I had the rack of lamb special, which was the best lamb I can remember. But the highlight was the beignets. I don’t care how full you are, you must order them for dessert. You won’t regret it.

    Although the food is quite delicious the prices are outrageous. Double NewYork City prices. Wait staff either are new or poorly trained or both. We’ve been coming to Cafe Marquesa for over 20 years and sorry to say it will be are last. Too many other fine dining options in Key West that don’t gouge their guests and have wait staff that understand what fine dining service means.

    Elegant delicious dining. Food reliably excellent. Had tuna tartare special, miso glazed fish entree, frisée salad and divers scallop appetizer. Service excellent. Attentive, but not obtrusive. Drinks very good.

    I loved that passers by could not gawk at us while we were eating, but the diners could see outside and, with the large mirrors on the wall, the dining room seemed more spacious. The host made good eye contact with us when we entered and also said goodnight when we left. Our server was very attentive. The food was excellent! I enjoyed my crab cake starter and snapper entree; my family liked their steak, and we all enjoyed the small bites from the chef. We will be back!

    Always one of our top restaurants when visiting KeyWest, last night was no exception. Everything was spot on from service to presentation, food quality and wine list. Keep up the great work! My wife and I will gladly return!

    We had dinner st Cafe Marques last year and were seated on the porch and it was a delightful experience. This year we were inside in what seemed like a much older area and it was really dated looking. Our table was by the door and it had a lot of traffic and was really uncomfortable. Our server seemed annoyed with us and drinks service was slow and the drinks were incorrect. We will not return and will not suggest to friends

    The food was spectacular as well as the service. We had a table next to the bar and could hardly hear each other talk it was so loud. Recommend not sitting near the bar.

    The cocktails were amazing (very well crafted). I got the shrimp and grits appetizer as my meal and a salad. It was plenty of food. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the grits had a flavor sauce. Others in our party got the Black Sea bass. That was fabulous. We would definitely eat here again. And you must get the key lime dessert beverage.

    Everything was lovely! From the hostess to the server, everyone was attentive and pleasant. My husband and I had the scallop appetizer which was bacon wrapped and cooked perfectly. My husband had the swordfish piccata and I had the black grouper. Both were beautifully plated, cooked perfectly and had amazing sides. We ended the night with the dessert trio. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend!

    We had the Pan Seared Yellowtail & crusted Grouper and they were delicious. The best seafood we have had in Key West. We sat on the wood patio looking out to the street on a balmy evening and our server was superbly professional and friendly. We had a great pre birthday evening!

    I made this reservation WAY ahead of time for our honeymoon and was SO excited. The hostess was lovely and greeted us with a “congratulations” and seated us. Unfortunately, that was the last of the pleasantries. Our server (I’m not even sure if he told us his name) acted as though he wanted us in and out as quickly as possible. He seemed dismissive and curt. I hate to think it’s because we are a younger couple and he may have thought we couldn’t afford to eat there, but I couldn’t quite figure out what we had done wrong from the start. As a former employee of every front of house position, I never tip less than 20%+ regardless of my experience, and this was no exception. The food was fine but it was rough to navigate the experience when we felt unwelcome. I really don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews and we weren’t angry or anything but certainly left feeling disappointed. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and told myself I was making it up. Sadly, after we left the restaurant, the first thing my husband asked was if I thought we’d done something to irritate the server. We’ve talked to many other people who had amazing experiences here, so perhaps it was just rare bad experience for us.

    I thought about this meal for almost 6 months couldnt wait. We had the she-crab soup, fried oysters, Pork Osso Bucco last time we were here. When we booked the trip back to Key West. I thought about this meal. I got the same thing. And it was very very disappointing. The soup and food came out luke warm at best. The pork shank was not crispy, the polenta it was on was cold and it was served with cherry tomatoes…cheap sides for $55.00 an entree. And cold sides. We went for a drink after the disappointment of a meal at 915. And at the bar, a local lady said it is because they were bought by a corporation. I knew it! I WONT be back!

    We sat outside on the front porch in a beautiful evening. That is why the noise level was higher than you would expect. This is fine dining at its best. Food was excellent and our server was outstanding. Keep everything moving along but gave us plenty of time to talk. A but in the pricey side but we’ll worth the money.
