This has become one of my “go-to” places. They know me by name and are super kind. Food is amazing. Everyone I bring has found something they love. Ask for Lindsay she is the best server!
We had a great experience. The food was excellent, the service was good even thought they were very busy. I would recommend it.
It was ok, I thought it was over priced for the overall taste and experience
Service, quality of food both excellent. Have been here numerous times in the past, never experienced anything other than what we experienced on this visit.
We had our 5th date here last week. It was a full dining room and we were early for our reservation. The restaurant seated and asked if we prefer to sit next to, or across from, each other. We chose ‘next to’ and our table was set perfectly. The menu includes lots of options to choose from that are both romantic and delicious. The wine list is wonderful, and the entire place is unassuming
Love this place. Food is always great!!!
Another great dinner! We have been here numerous times and never been disappointed. This time we took the kids and they were very flexible in accomodating their requests to modify dishes and share dishes. Their Gnocchi Machianto is one of the best meals we have ever had.
The food was delicious! I had Capellacci Toscano - so good! My friend had Chicken Parmesan which is her favorite. To top it off, we had the greatest server, Yuli. Café Lucci is wonderful!
Excellent food, great service
As always, excellent food with excellent service. Love going here. Why wife and I both ordered specials, which were different and wonderful. Thank you!
Literally felt like I was in Tuscany. Great food and service. Generous, fresh, authentic, filling but not heavy, tastes that make you stop and “ooooh” and salivate!! Wish I’d known about it before. Will be back often!
A most pleasant experience with good food and pleasant atmosphere. The singular standout was courtesy and attention of every single staff member from the valet who escorted a senior through the ice to safety to host, entire staff and our server, Nahu who was amazing - patient, pleasant and most helpful.
Wonderful like always!!!! Celebrated my 60th birthday in style!!!!
Very disappointing. Noisy, lots of large tables close together. Food was overpriced and not very good.
Everything was great. The service was very good except for the way my wine was decanted was too abrupt and poured sediment I to the carafe. Food was great as always.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. We made reservations, we were on time and still had to wait in the bar for 25 minutes. I guess that's one way to increase the bill. It was EXTREMELY loud in the main dining area, and really detracted from the experience we were hoping for.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Cafe Lucci. It was loud but that didn’t effect our experience. Can’t wait to go back.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to outside of Italy! Authentic cuisine, fresh ingredients and excellent service! Wonderful place for a date night!
The table they sat us at 20 minutes after our reservation was 3 2 tops pushed together for 5. Too big. We had to wait for an appropriate table. They did nothing to accommodate this inconvenience.
goog Italian food with good wine and comfortable service, being one of top 5 Italian restaurants in Northwest suburb.
Food is outstanding! Service was stellar!
Great food, many choices, real Italian food. They have free valet parking and valet Nikko is very personable, but it's difficult to get in off Milwaukee Ave. when busy. Very noisy inside when crowded. Wine list could use some more reasonable options i.e. under $50, but they do have many wines. Waiters seem knowledgeable but some are borderline snobby telling you not to get what you requested or sneer if you ask for a slight change in preparation (no added salt or pepper), one criticized our wine choice.
I would still recommend having dinner here but on days less crowded.
It was another wonderful night at our favorite place. We requested a table in the back and we also requested Darren, whose tables happened to be in front. Darren schlepped back to our table and took care of us which was certainly very difficult, but he did it with a smile. Our Cousins loved the food and want to come back again. Thank you for helping to make this a special night.
Cafe Lucci is our family’s favorite! The Arifi’s are the BEST not to mention the delicious food and professional staff!
Always excellent! Wonderful food and helpful, non-intrusive service.
Best eggplant parmigiana I’ve every had. Very pleased.
Been to lucci so many times I can’t count and NEVER have I had anything that was NOT delicious! Hands down the best Italian on the north shore
A disappointing visit. Made reservations several days in advance through OpenTable for Sat. @ 7 pm. for a party of 4. Arrived on time but wasn't seated until 7:35. Not even an apology for the delay. No quality restaurant is that off.
Then the lie. They listed "Orata" as a special. This Mediterranean fish is one of my favorites. Asked if the fish was fresh and how it was prepared. The waiter admitted that they didn't have Orata. Instead it was really Chilean sea bass. A far cry from Orata. I wonder if the veal was really veal. Again no restaurant charging $45 for a dish should mislabel it.
I selected the halibut which was mediocre at best.
My wife and I shared the gamberi luna which was very good. We also had the Caesar salad which is properly sized for one and good at the reasonable price of $5. The key lime pie was forgettable.
This restaurant has a $25 corkage fee which is acceptable especially with the prices charged over retail. I should note that the wine list is quite good with several hard to find wines available.
Simply not worth the half hour drive. Many far superior Italian restaurants available in the northern suburbs.
This is our 2nd visit to Café Lucci's. I had the Fetticine Vasca, and my husband had the
Cappelcci Toscan. Both pasta dishes. Simply delicious for both dishes. The other couple in our
party also enjoyed their dishes. One had crab legs, the other a higher end cut of Beef.
Enjoyed by all very much. Noise level was very high this past Saturday evening. Got better after a bit when patrons finished their meals, and left the establishment.
Thanks Café Lucci's! Will see you again.
Outstanding food and service but very noisy. It’s always our go to place for great Italian food, you need a reservation on weekends
Everything was great! And the wine list is to die for. Nice mood lighting, great for a relaxing dinner. It can get a bit loud depending on the night but overall a relaxed environment.
Absolutely amazing! Food was outstanding.
Nahu is the absolute best waiter. He always makes our dinner special.
Food was over seasoned, prices are high for the quality
Solid all around. Wine is deep
We have been to Cafe Lucci for lunch or dinner maybe 10 times. Every time has been wonderful. The food is delicious and service has always been wonderful. They've never disappointed us.
I highly recommend Cafe Lucci.
Great menu options and specials. Food consistently good. It just gets a little too loud when the dining room is full. Our waiter was outstanding but we felt he was rushed due to his number of tables. He was not rushing us. Very friendly staff. All in all a good experience with great food.
Service and food were great. Our server was very accommodating and substituting items was not a problem. Appreciated being able to stay and chat for a long time with my friends and did not feel rushed.
It was probably 25 years since I had been there and was glad to see the renovations and decor. I will be back!
We went to Cafe Lucci for two special birthdays and we loved it. It has been a while since we have been there for dinner. Our waiter was outstanding and knowledgeable. He recommended a perfect Pinot Noir to go with our meal. And we each had something from the blackboard specials. The salmon was amazing. The veal and chicken piccata were also excellent. It was busy with most tables filled, but quiet enough to talk and actually hear one another. We enjoyed our dinner very much and will go back.
One of our favorites. Food is ALWAYS on but tonight service was off. Chalking it up to a bad day as the service here (and with this particular waiter) are typically spot on! A must stop if you are nearby.
