Cafe Blue is ALWAYS a good choice for brunch, lunch or dinner. The food is consistently good and the wait staff is always pleasant. This visit I met friends for Brunch - we enjoyed to special selections and the wide variety of items. Food arrives in a timely manner - hot, appealing and tasty! The restaurant will soon be moving to a new location - we look forward to having the option of patio dining.

If you haven't had the Thursday prime Rib you are missing one of the best out there. The Cafe Blue is a lovely place to dine albeit on the noisy side due to the hard floors and walls. The food is always good and reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. Recommended..

First time to experience Cafe Blue, very good choice. Food was excellent and our server was great. Enjoyed the Prime Rib, as it was Thursday's special feature. Excellent choice! Cannot wait to return to their new location and explore the menu more.

Very disappointing for Valentine's Day. Usually this is a very good choice, so surprised at the poor quality food and service.

My wife and I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and it is always very good. My wife got seafood both times and I had the seafood once and a steak the other time. We were very pleased with the food and the ambiance. This last time we went was Valentine's Day and service was very good and our food came out very quickly. We will definitely go there again.

Love a place that serves any sea food I can imagine, while satisfying my husbands desire for a great beef filet. It's sometimes difficult to find this combo! We'll be back!

Excellent service, however food simply ok. The fish we ordered was not only a very small portion, but relatively tasteless. Other enrtres may have been the better choice.

Cafe Blue is a gem in the Texas Hill Country and one of our favorite spots for lunch, brunch, and dinner. Their menu is imaginative and eclectic, and the quality of service and food is consistently very good; the value is hard to beat.

We celebrated Valentine's Day by enjoying their brunch, and despite being extremely busy, we were seated precisely at the time of our reservation and the service was attentive and personable. I had the Classic French Toast plate and my wife had the Surf and Turf Eggs Benedict. Both were delicious, and the price was very reasonable.

Pro tip: If you go for brunch on Saturday or Sunday (or lunch any day), give their signature Red Headed Stranger bloody mary a try!

Note that Cafe Blue will soon (within the next few weeks) be moving to a larger location in the central part of the Galleria, as the shopping center continues to consolidate all the restaurants in one section.

Sunday brunch combo: we combined the Benedict Arnold and the Florentine. Both were excellent.

Yet another fantastic Restaurant find via Open Table. My wife and I were spending Valentines Weekend in the Austin Hill Country. We wanted to find someplace for Brunch and Open Table led us to Cafe Blue. It was a great experience all the way around.

We drove an hour to get here from our home for Valentine's Dinner. First time to eat here and it was completely worth it! I had the Drunken Beef Tenderloin and I savored every bite. My husband had the shrimp brioche and was in heaven. We had the calamari to start and it was some of the best we've ever had. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. A hidden gem that we will be returning to!

First, on the food, this was the best seafood to be had anywhere in the Austin area. The seafood tower was incredible and everything was fresh and had wonderful tastes. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and my wife had the redfish. I don't usually like ceviche, mainly due to fishy tastes, but this was an awesome mix of fruit and fish and it left a sweet taste in your mouth. Not to mention it was about twice as much as we expected.

Drinks were a bit strong for our liking, but that is nothing to complain about for most people.

My only issue is that I had reserved a table a few weeks in advance for Valentine's Day with my new wife. I had intended everything to be special, which is why I did make the reservation well ahead of time. When I booked the table, I included the note that I wanted a great table for that night.

Well the night rolls around and we arrive and everything is going good, then we are seated at quite possibly the worst table in the place. It was in the middle of the room, tables all around, with no privacy at all, and the view of the bar, waiting area, or the sidewalk didn't do it for me. Apparently it was just what was available and they had no actual reserved table. So the reservation was pretty useless.

Thankfully a booth opened up and I quickly inquired if we could move to it, which they obliged. If that had not have happened, it had the potential to ruin a tremendous night.

Our server Reagan and the staff were excellent as well, I have not had better service from a server anywhere else.

Cafe Blue is predictable, consistent and good for the food, the drinks, the service. Can be pretty noisy, but altogether a nice experience and a place to have it.
