Loved it - staff excellent and food was spot on.
We were lucky and it was not to busy and enjoyed a great view over the sea.
Been there a few times . This time it was a limited menu, but soon will going back to regular menu.
Other than them not respecting a window table reservation many days in advance, the server made up for it.

This is a typical hotel restaurant. Food is average and way overpriced. Since not much else was open and ordered our drinks we decided to stay for lunch. 4 sandwiches with drinks and fries was $90. Should have gone to McDonald's. Will never go back.
It was towards the end of the day so we felt bad as we were one of the last to get bar orders in but they made us comfortable and served us with huge smiles. Appreciate the great interactions.
Our server was extremely attentive and flexible to moving us when a spot next to the window opened up.
We arrived on time for our 5:30 reservation and were told to wait 10 min...no problem. But we sat and waited until almost 6pm before they seated us, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. The menu online is NOT the same as what they gave us. I forgot to take a pic, but it is mostly pizza and hamburgers, not what we were expecting. You can pay for the 7 oz sirloin (close to $50), but I didn't want to risk it based on how crappy our experience started out. I got a hamburger and it was "ok" although the fries were very good. The poor hostess was clearly trying to keep customers happy, but it was obvious she was trying to hold people off because they were way behind in the kitchen. It seemed like they were cooking for room service at the same time and making the hotel guests the priority, which I guess is fine, but just know that going into this debacle. They do have a nice view of the beach (if you can get a table by the window), but honestly, that was the only redeeming thing. It has a very "hotel cafe" feel to it, so the pics I saw online made it looks so much nicer that what it really was.
Extremely Mediocre experience and food for a far reaching price tag. 200 dollar meal that was really truly not great. They need to go back to culinary school if they even went there in the first place. This is a tough review, but accurate. Hopefully they will make some major improvements after reading this.
Always very good food and nice wines. Wonderful view of the ocean. At this time they have a "Covid Menu" so not as many options as usual. But there was something for everyone. The burger my husband had was very good and the seafood soup was very tasty. Always ask for George to be your server. He is outstanding really and a pleasure to be around.
George is quite literally the beat server I’ve ever had in Myrtle Beach!!! The special order of a house salad with salmon was terrific. The only thing we didn’t like was the shrimp cocktail. They truly did not taste like local shrimp and there were only 5 small shrimp...definitely not worth the $16 price tag. (I don’t mind spending $16 on 5 giant, perfect local shrimp). The cocktails were well poured and the wine was lovely...a really nice selection. But it was George that really made our meal shine.
Had Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people. Service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was very good. Only issue for me was the temperature of the food, could have been a little hotter. We will definitely return to Cafe Amalfi.
Understanding that Covid 19 has diminished business greatly; when a restaurant remains opened, especially in a resort hotel... quality standards should remain in tact.
The complaint I have is in regard to the food and pricing. Food was not 'fresh' (wilted caesar salad greens, dressing must have been old - made us feel ill. Or it could have been the condiments topping the burgers, or the double fried french fries. The extra grease caused concern.) Finally, a $5.00 charge for a basket of 3 pieces of torn up white bread is not justified, even if you use a fancy term for 'assorted bread service.'
The service however was pleasant - even if we were the only quests dining at the time.
Would NOT recommend this restaurant at this time.
Great food very pleasant staff
Service was very slow it took two hours to get our food and our ticket any charged us for the wrong thing on the menu I will never go back to this place again nor do I recommend very overpriced and overrated it was a customer complaining while I was there. That should’ve been a red flag. But it was my daughter’s birthday and she wanted to eat there because we were in town visiting and that’s the place that she looked up up

The food and service were excellent. Our table directly overlooked the pool with a view of the ocean beyond.
Everything was great except the seafood fra Diablo it was very bland and lacked any Italian flair or spice. The mahi-mahi was amazing and the crab cakes.
Didn’t realize was in the Hilton, no signs anywhere. Had to walk through pool deck and up stairs to get to elevator. Other than the view, which was very nice overlooking the pool and beach, the ambiance was nil. Very nice server and service was good. Food was mediocre and not very hot which was surprising since kitchen was right there. My guests dinner was so salty it was inedible. Wasn’t charged for it and comped my dessert which was best part of the meal. Will not be back!
Food was great, would give a five star but took over an hour to get a turkey club and a burger. No, it wasn't busy at all, alot of empty tables.
We came for lunch. This is a hotel restaurant. The best thing about it was the view. The food was okay, but not bad. The characterization that it is fine dining is really inaccurate. It is typical chain hotel food.
We had an early dinner. Only a few people at that time. Great view of beach and ocean. Very hospitable with free valet parking. The fresh red snapper was excellent. Hubby’s seafood pasta was very flavorful but slightly dry. Very pleasant find from security to parking attendant to hostess to waiter... they all get 5 stars.

George made the event personal and a very memorable event. Service, food and view was spectacular.
The food here is always superb. The wait staff was attentive but visited the table just enough - not too much that you wanted them to leave you alone. Crab cakes appetizer was almost all crab - not all bread crumbs like some places - and had a good amount of lobster on top. I could eat them for a meal! My steak was cooked to perfection, but I almost didn’t notice because the potatoes were so good, I had about 10 bites of them before I even cut into the steak. We loved the desserts as well. Highly recommended!
The waiter named George is absolutely the best server I have ever encountered on four continents. He anticipated our needs before we had to ask, he was polite, professional snd attentive. THE BEST!

Our server George was excellent. Ocean Views were beautiful. I ordered the lump crab cake sandwich and fries which was excellent. My wife had a delicious wedge salad. Be sure to order the Two Tall carrot cake was outstanding.
Went there for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Made the reservation through Open Table. When arrived there, the reception explained that they have gad a long reception earlier that day therefore, the restaurant will not serve dinner. Do not know why this was not reflected in the Open Table as the other restaurants that were closed on Thanksgiving night. Will never go back to that place again.
Everything was lovely with the exception of our table. We were told that we could not sit in the area where we could see the ocean because tables had to be rearranged as diners left for arriving parties. There were numerous empty tables for 4 that remained empty the entire time we were there.
Excellent thanksgiving buffet
A very enjoyable dining experience. Food was plentiful and in keeping with Thanksgiving. Turkey breast was delicious, and the best I've had in a long time. Sorry there was no dark meat. The roast beef was excellent and juicy. In addition to the normal side dishes such as mashed sweet potatoes, oyster dressing and various salads, there was boiled shrimp and oysters. There were also various mini dishes with Thanksgiving themes. The sunny day and beautiful ocean view made this dining experience almost perfect.
First, Cafe Amalfi has an amazing ocean view which adds to the ambience if your reservation is before dark. Second, if you can get George for your server, you will have the pleasure of having your meal orchestrated by a seasoned pro. Both dishes we had on this visit were excellent; I especially liked the "seafood trio." Also, corkage is a reasonable $12.00.

The best thing about this Resturant is the view. The service is attentive and very helpful, from parking the attendants to the waitstaff! The food was hot and served quickly, but the flavor was average. The feel of the Resturant is hotel, not a special place. For the price the experience is nothing special.
