   The food and service was very good. Not out of the world good but just a one time visit is enough. They have valet parking for $7 which is very nice

   Our server Emmanuel was exceptional. He delivered outstanding customer service and kindness. Our food wasn't the best but Emmanuel was understanding and pleasantly attentive. The Hostess on the other hand, left alot to be desired with regard to efficiency.I received an email a few hours before the time of reservation stating that my reservation was changed to a later time by 15 minutes. That was completely understandable. As I have now adjusted our arrival time, I later received a text message consistent with the initial reservation time and not the adjusted, that our table was ready. Ok, not a plus but things happen. Upon seating by the hostess, I'm told upon my asking that the table and room I requested was unavailable and that we were being seated elsewhere. Please inform me of that at the hostess stand or better yet in a phone call or text message. I would of changed my reservation to another day. I always enjoy my experiences at Bryd & Baldwin but this wasn't one of them.

   We had a fabulous dinner on Saturday night. The service and food were both exceptional. The she crab soup was probably the best we have had.

   My husband and I was there celebrating his birthday. From the time we walked in the service was impeccable, starting from the host and hostess and the entire staff. Everything was wonderful and the food was delicious. Our waiter Damien was above our expectations. He made this first visit a truly great experience for us. We will definitely be back.

   Exceptional food and service. Sat in the downstairs bar and it was like a private lounge with speakeasy vibes. The food and drinks were amazing and we really enjoyed our time there.

   Byrd and Baldwin Bros. Steakhouse is one of the finest that I have ever eaten at. The ambiance is wonderful, service is impeccable, and the food superb. The steak was out of this world. The selection of sides and salads ranged from traditional steakhouse baked potato to a corn and crab dish that was both creative and delicious. Has to be the best in Norfolk. The preserved history of the building and safe on the lower floor just added to the experience. Kudos Byrd and Baldwin!

   This was by far the best dining experience we’ve ever had! Food was exquisite and the service was phenomenal! Emmanuel took very good care of us!

    Outstanding. Everything was exceptional. From the service to the food to the ambience. I have not 1 complaint at all. Things were better than I expected it to be and I will definitely be going back again.
