Service was excellent. Food was outstanding! The duck was so tasty and was cooked perfectly. My friends and I especially enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert.

ByMark is very good value. Though the Burger costs $40 it's far and away the tastiest burger in Toronto, and it's beautifully presented, in my case with a small bowl of caesar salad, perfectly dressed, and easily the tastiest in Toronto. My only concern was the noise level. Calling it "energetic" is not accurate. The noise level makes it almost impossible to have a business discussion without missing, perhaps, crucial words. Cant something be done to reduce the reflected chatter noise?

Bday celebration for my good friend. Took 20 mins to order our wine, wine order was forgotten about, had to reorder. After ordering our meals and finishing our appetizer I pulled our waiter aside while my friend was in the washroom. I asked the waiter if we could l do something small but special for his bday celebration. Waiter suggested I order a dessert and he’ll have happy birthday on the plate with a candle. 15 mins after the conversation the waiter came by asking if we wanted dessert, I ordered the same dessert we just discussed, waiter forgot all about our conversation and the birthday celebration. Dessert came standard with no happy birthday or candle. Terrible service unfortunately. I confronted the waiter about it, he remembered our conversation and arrangement, pieced together a confusing apology but seemed to not care. He brought the cheque with no follow up or attempt to make it up.

The service at Bymark is always impeccable! The food was delicious with very generous portion sizes. The restaurant gets quite busy over the lunch rush and tends to be quite loud but still appropriate for a business lunch.

Very rude staff, They were unhappy with the tip and treated us very bad after a dinner of 600 dollars, with burned beef etc.
