Picked for its location which didn't disappoint, can dine with tower bridge in view. Service was great; friendly and attentive servers. Our first time dining at this restaurant. Quite boring and dated in design / decor. Fresh flowers on the tables was a nice touch though. Toilets could do with a bleach, brown stained toilet bowls were a bit gross. Spoilt for choice on the menu, so many good things. It looked, smelled and tasted delicious but all our food was loaded in salt. I was enjoying my main but couldn't finish because it was just too salty. I thought it may have just been me, but the others with me all said the same and we all had different dishes. The chef needs to calm down with the salt! Quite pricey (£250 for 3 of us, 2 courses each and 2 bottles of pinot grigio and 2 bottles of water). Wouldn't rush back but would probably enjoy a drink on the Riverside terrace in the summer.

I have eaten here many times and the food and service is always excellent. Plus the view of Tower Bridge is amazing 🇬🇧

Location on the banks of the Thames by Tower Bridge is one of the most spectacular in London. The Chop House served good meat based dishes which hit the spot for a lunch with a friend but it was not exceptional. However what I remember the most is how annoying service was, constantly interrupting topping up water (unnecessarily), asking about food quality (several times). It was the beginning of service so the restaurant was quiet but if clients are engrossed in conversation please don’t interrupt!

Very reliable for Sunday lunch and pies excellent according to my companion . Overall a treat to eat here . I go regularly which speaks for itself .

The location is perfect with an awesome view of the Tower Bridge. Highly recommended especially in the evening. The ambience is very nice, however, the air is a bit stuffy there and smells fishy.

Very good friendly service. We were running late due to train delays and had very little time to eat before going to theatre. They were extremely accommodating and provided delicious food very quickly
