First visit to Chop House; table of 7 (2 kids 5 & 2) for a family birthday at 2pm on a Sunday. Lovely big round table set up which was excellent for a larger group. Service was very good - our server made sure the drinks were always topped up and that the kids received their food asap. Kids dinners were very reasonably priced and large portion sizes. We started with a selection of items from the 'snacks' section as shared starters - scotch egg and the pork belly sausage rolls were great. Mains were excellent - we had the filet steak, the sirloin, the pork chops and a roast chicken. Steaks were cooked perfectly - filet was especially excellent. Pork Chops were probably the best I've tasted! Added a selection of varied shared sides for the table - portions were great for sharing. Nice touch from the restaurant of a Happy Birthday desert presented at the end - we noted we were celebrating a birthday via the online booking. Would certainly return again - relaxed atmosphere with great views out to the river. Didn't feel out of place with small children dining either which is what you want on a Sunday

Lovely evening with colleagues in a super location. The restaurant was very busy so noise levels were high. Food and wine was delicious

Service great Acoustic very poor. All hard services. They try and open only areas needed until full so very noisy. Rib Eye was rare after asking for medium. Also very fatty and tough. Flavour was good

Food was fantastic, had Sunday Lunch outside with a great view of London Bridge, was 14 degrees but the heaters kept us nice and toasty. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. Roast beef was perfectly cooked.

Overall fabulous lunch with great view. Must mention the maitre’d / head waiter ( unfortunately moving in a few weeks?) who was attentive and warmly welcoming - will certainly be back!!

So disappointed as have visited this restaurant alot over the years for Sunday lunch. Chicken looked anaemic and barely warm. Big hard cold yorkshire pudding and tepid roasts were thrown onto a plate. A plate of 3 different uninspiring veg followed to share between 4 people, 3 had chicken and my husband had pork which was the tiniest portion ever. I would have sent it back but friends were visiting from abroad. Waiter was brusque, place was noisy with no charm at all.
