We had a lovely meal. Unfortunately they were very mean with gravy for a roast dinner. We had to keep asking for more. Took too long to bring more gravy. A jug would have been far better. Dinner was almost dry by the time enough gravy arrived.

This restaurant is ideally located by the Thames and the hostess Suzanna (hope that is spelled correctly) was friendly and professional. The food was very good and we were served by our charming Italian waiter Carmina (again I hope I spelled that correctly) who accommodated our request for a 'breathing space between our starters and the main course. The service was overall, excellent. The ambience was spoilt by a large table of friends with small babies who seemed to reach decibels of screaming trying to outdo each other, however this was the fault of the parents and not the restaurant. The drinks were, as expected, a bit pricey but good quality and I would recommend this restaurant. Many thanks for a nice day.

Table was late - service was really poor. View is great. Food was mixed pretty good relatively but for the price I would have expected more. Staff had no interest in being friendly or vaguely appeared to care you were there. One exception in the 5 we met. It really stood out from all the places I’ve eaten in the past week and i realised how much difference it makes. Was with friends and we had a good time but the feeling of not being welcome did have an impact

Very attentive staff, lovely location by the river. Located on the Thames path behind Thames Shad you can eat looking at Tower bridge but people walking past do not disturb you at all. If eating inside it is very spacious. Rose wine superb, and my grilled salmon was an extremely generous portion and perfectly cooked. Second time I’ve been here and will go again. There aren’t signs on how to access the restaurant which is behind Shad Thames - so turn left opposite the pharmacy into “Maggie Blake’s Cause” and the restaurant is just a bit farther along.

We had a good time here. Although it did take awhile for the food to come out, there were 12 of us. The food was quite good and service was also pretty good. Nothing beats the view of the tower bridge! Great location.

Pleasant staff but service poor as it felt they were terribly understaffed. We have eaten here before and it was a much better experience then. This visit we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive and when it did there were things missing and not the right cutlery. Two of us ordered the lamb and it was really tough, the steak was presented plonked on a plate with nothing else at all not even some parsley, despite asking for salad with dressing on the side it came poured on it and the vegetables were cold. We were very sad that it wasn’t the usual experience.
