Very attentive staff, lovely location by the river. Located on the Thames path behind Thames Shad you can eat looking at Tower bridge but people walking past do not disturb you at all. If eating inside it is very spacious. Rose wine superb, and my grilled salmon was an extremely generous portion and perfectly cooked. Second time I’ve been here and will go again. There aren’t signs on how to access the restaurant which is behind Shad Thames - so turn left opposite the pharmacy into “Maggie Blake’s Cause” and the restaurant is just a bit farther along.

Pleasant staff but service poor as it felt they were terribly understaffed. We have eaten here before and it was a much better experience then. This visit we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive and when it did there were things missing and not the right cutlery. Two of us ordered the lamb and it was really tough, the steak was presented plonked on a plate with nothing else at all not even some parsley, despite asking for salad with dressing on the side it came poured on it and the vegetables were cold. We were very sad that it wasn’t the usual experience.

This was our first visit & were bowled over by the setting. The restaurant looked most inviting & sitting outside was a treat! Customer service was excellent, Juaned was so helpful and attentive. We only had one course due to time restraints but the burgers were delicious. Will definitely revisit.

The view is great. The menu is Gastro-pub and the food is ok... I guess London restaurants are struggling with the cost of doing business... I just felt the quality of the food vs the price paid wasn't that justified. I guess you are paying for the view.

If it wasn't for the planned Father's Day celebrations, we would have left the table shortly after the starters. The location is nice, the steaks were okay, but could have been better, all sides were very pricey and very small. Noone gave us any recognition as a guests. After finishing our tiny starters, we have waited 50 minutes for the mains. The restaurant wasn't busy, main dishes on other tables were mostly sunday roasts. So after a little frustration I had to get up and ask a member of staff about what's happening with our food. Within another 15 min we finally got our main dishes. Left very unhappy and felt the overall experience was way overcharged. The view on the Tower Bridge is not everything. Please work on your service. Very disappointing.

Food, service, and view were excellent However, if you eat outside, there tends to be a lot of smokers from the restaurant that hang out along the railing and it can be quite a bit for non-smokers like me. It also blocks your view when people congregate there. Otherwise, very good experience.

Table views of the Thames and Tower Bridge were amazing but the food was overpriced and disappointing. I ordered a filet cooked medium with blue cheese sauce and was given a random end piece that was mostly undercooked due to its odd shape. The sauce was overly sweetened. For sides we ordered the broccoli, new potatoes and chips which were all just okay - nothing special and very small portions.

Lovely staff but food took a long time to come out. Little discount on the bill and staff very warm. Need a few more soft furnishings as a bit of a din. Staff really were great.

We booked a table on the terrace to make the most of the stunning view of Tower Bridge. Although it was a little chilly, there were patio heaters to keep us comfortable. Staff were friendly and courteous but mixed up my husband's steak ordered - it arrived well done instead of medium rare and without his side orders. But they sorted it out quickly and without fuss. Because of the location the prices are expensive but it's worth it for the fantastic location.

We were a bit disappointed with our recent visit. I had specifically booked an outdoor table as we were really looking forward to the view—especially since it was the birthday celebrant’s wish. However, after I called to add another guest to the reservation, the table was changed to indoors without any notice. It took away from the experience we had planned. The food and service were still enjoyable, but it was unfortunate that this detail wasn’t honored, particularly for a special occasion.
