Como su nombre lo indica, Butlers Wharf Chop House Restaurant es el lugar perfecto si usted tiene antojo de algo con carne. No se puede perder los filetes de Speyside Angus X alimentado con pasto. El restaurante es elegante pero sin ser rebuscado. Table views of the Thames and Tower Bridge were amazing but the food was overpriced and disappointing. I ordered a filet cooked medium with blue cheese sauce and was given a random end piece that was mostly undercooked due to its odd shape. The sauce was overly sweetened. For sides we ordered the broccoli, new potatoes and chips which were all just okay - nothing special and very small portions.

Lovely staff but food took a long time to come out. Little discount on the bill and staff very warm. Need a few more soft furnishings as a bit of a din. Staff really were great.

We booked a table on the terrace to make the most of the stunning view of Tower Bridge. Although it was a little chilly, there were patio heaters to keep us comfortable. Staff were friendly and courteous but mixed up my husband's steak ordered - it arrived well done instead of medium rare and without his side orders. But they sorted it out quickly and without fuss. Because of the location the prices are expensive but it's worth it for the fantastic location.

We were a bit disappointed with our recent visit. I had specifically booked an outdoor table as we were really looking forward to the view—especially since it was the birthday celebrant’s wish. However, after I called to add another guest to the reservation, the table was changed to indoors without any notice. It took away from the experience we had planned. The food and service were still enjoyable, but it was unfortunate that this detail wasn’t honored, particularly for a special occasion.

Got a table outside. Next to the river. Great views on a fantastic sunny day! Food was absolutely superb.

The service was excellent-attentive but not too much. The food was ok....we both had a steak and were quite surprised that it was literally JUST that - steak on a plate - no garnish, not even a sprig of watercress. Everything was cooked to our liking so no issues there. Dessert was ok. I did find it quite expensive though.

Very poor service, We had to ask for someone to take our order. When we wanted to order a second bottle of wine, there was no waiter to be seen. When we did order it, we had to remind the waiter again and then is still took ages to arrive. Also portions are very small. A small pork chop for £28, not worth the money!

Our most recent experience has cooled since our visit in 2020. The restaurant was practically empty - seems to have lost its "magic" we experienced five years ago. The charm, ambiance, warmth we felt in the past, is no more. One pork chop entree looked naked except for a small saucepan of apple sauce. Thankfully a few broiled mushrooms enhanced the flavor of the small, mediocre chop on a large plate. Another guest's fish and chips was nothing exceptional.
