   Booked the table over a week ago for a Sunday roast only to turn up to be seated and then informed they have run out of Sunday Roasts…..

We understand how disappointing this must have been, it's one of our most popular dishes, freshly prepared every Sunday morning, easy to run out in the evening time.    You just spend too much money for the view not for food and service.My experience was awful.

   Set in a lovely position, right beside the Thames. However, the service was very slow even though the restaurant was almost empty. The waiter was very attentive to a group of Americans who were obviously spending a lot of money, but we were practically ignored. The food was ok, nothing amazing, No one asked if we wanted more drinks or if the food was ok and then they add an extortionate service charge. We paid and left.

   This restaurant appeared nice and had 4stars n Open Table. It was empty, stilted, and dead. Food was extremely overpriced, but we expected it to be good and hung on for more. Portions were small. Beef was overcooked and the waiter made excuses. This was the worst experience of our 10 day Paris and London trip.

   We live close by and this was the best meal we have ever had. The chicken mushroom and leek pie was sublime. Can you teach me how to make the pastry and to make the pie look so perfect- that could win competitions! The beef tartare is a staple favourite. The staff are always helpful and friendly, we love it!

   The restaurant was not busy at all but we were left unattended several times - numerous staff on their phones / eating. Had to get attention when ordering drinks and food and even the bill at the end of the night. The food was fair, bland and over priced for what it was - we've definitely had better! The setting was the only good thing about the night - great views over looking the bridge, so would recommend the location. I would go back to the restaurant but for drinks / view only!

   Once great British restaurant now a shadow of its former self. The only thing good about this place is its location on the river.
