    We went here for a birthday dinner and it was wonderful. The food was absolutely amazing (especially the biscuits). We ordered the escargots, 32oz portherhouse, mashed potatoes, corn, and creme brule. The service was excellent, and the restaurant and bar were beautiful. One of my favorites!

    Food was delicious. Steak cooked to perfect medium. Loved my cocktail. We did have to wait a little for our table but everything else was perfect, including the dinner rolls/bread.

    Best steakhouse we have found on the East Coast so far! Ryan, our server, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Without missing a beat, he answered our questions and had recommendations. This is our second time here and we will definitely be back and asking to be in Ryan’s section

    It all starts with the service. Stacy provides the best customer experience anywhere in the Philadelphia area. Last night the service was exceptional as always and the food matched it step for step. The Delmonico was perfect. Get it sliced in the ktichen so it stops cooking. The hashbrown is the single best thing on the menu. Cray? Try it and see for yourself

    My first time dining here with friends and everything was delicious !!! and the vibes , the service was so outstanding!!! ☺️ can't wait to take my husband! From the biscuits to the steak was sooo dern fresh & delicious!!! I can't wake to return! Shout out to our waiter Chris ! He was awesome !

    Outstanding steaks, apps and the stuffed hashbrowns are a must! Our server, Stacy, was fantastic! The Butcher salad was phenomenal! We will always come back here whenever we visit Philly. It’s our second time since we discovered it on our last trip in 2021.

    Second visit to B&S and guaranteed to go back. Hard to have a better steakhouse dinner. The menu is more limited than most steakhouses but everything is prepared perfectly and is delicious. The bone in strip is my favorite to date. Have had the porterhouse previously. Roasted chicken was also delicious. The stuffed hash browns and roasted corn sides were superb. Had the creamed spinach and asparagus last time (also delicious). The freshly baked biscuits with honey butter are enough to make you want to go back. John our server was knowledgeable, attentive, professional, and friendly. As are all the service staff. And if you like a Manhattan they have 4 house recipes to choose from - the butcher and singer select is one of the best I have ever had. Looking forward to next year already.

    Best food I’ve had in the city! I ordered the surf and turf which was filet mignon and a lobster tail. I ordered “the Oscar” with the filet mignon and it was amazing. Highly recommend! The service was great!

    We had fantastic service, the food was perfect and we had a great experience . My steak was beautifully seasoned and cooked just ask I requested. The stuffed hash browns are a must! I would definitely return the next time I’m in town.

    Just a delightful dining experience. The service is top notch. Our waiter was well versed on everything on the menu and made great recommendations. The food is stellar. I will be back as it was our first time, but certainly not our last.

    Pros - Enjoyed the Porterhouse for two. Good steak but a bit chewy in parts. Sides were asparagus, creamed spinach and mac 'n cheese (which was the best I've ever had). Tuna tartar appetizer was very good. Coctails were very good. (Since going to Peter Lugers' in Brooklyn, I measure subsequent steak meals to that establishment; the pinnacle of an excellent steak. B&S was good but falls way short of the PL canon). Cons - Good service but couldn't help feel we were being rushed. Nice atmosphere but gets a bit too noisy.

    This is a quality steak house with superb service and outstanding chef prepared specials. We parked in a parking garage a half a block away. The food is high end so expect to pay a premium for it. We celebrated our anniversary here. It was a nice surprise and a classy touch when our dessert arrived with the words “Happy Anniversary” neatly spelled out in chocolate on our dessert dish. We will be back.

    First time and not the last! The service was excellent and food as well. The biscuits were served straight from the oven with soft honey butter. If I didn’t have a wedge, Delmonico and sides on the way, I could have eaten a half dozen more. The salad was perfectly dressed and steak tender, served at the perfect temp. The mushrooms and onions paired perfectly. Don’t leave without having stuffed hash browns, you will regret it. Crisp on the outside, creamy potato within. First class experience after the ballgame!!
