Had the brisket platter. Waiter said it came with Texas toast, coleslaw and pickles as sides. The one very small piece of toast wasn't toasted , wasn't hot or buttered. A very small container of coleslaw was on the place. It was a tablespoons worth. Three very small slilvers, the size of a toothpick of a purple pickle were on the plate.

Amazing food! The pulled pork was delicious! The service was great and ambience was nice. The only problem was the venue next door had a private event and the DJ bass almost killed my eardrums.. lol… but I would definitely go back.

If you have never been here before, parking is a confusing mess. If you do park in the garage, make sure to take your ticket and get it validated immediately by the server so you don't forget. $15 is $15, if you get it validated, when you exit, you are just waved through by the attendant, otherwise, PAY UP! The service and meal were fine, everything is so expensive these days, same for Bub City. Ribs with cole slaw and toast was comprised or a corner of 1 piece or bread, the tiniest cole slaw you ever saw and 5 ribs on a half slab for $18. I was hungry all night after I left. Music starts at 9:30 they say, if you aren't on a budget, the food is good, you just don't get much.

Server seemed uninterested. Did not come often to table. Food was good, a bit in the cold side. But ok. What I mostly disliked is the surcharge added in the bill. This needs to be displayed on the entrance of the restaurant. I understand guests may decide to leave. But you can’t deceive people like that. Patrons should know what they’re expecting to see. This of course is not the servers issue. Thank you

My son did an Ancetry inquiry, and we found my sister who shares a birthday with me. (Papa was a rolling stone. LOL!) This was the perfect place to meet her for the first time. Robert was our host, and he was amazing. We have photos that I wish I could share. The food and drinks were amazing. I'll definitely come back. Thank you!

First told I couldn't get the lean brisket in a sandwich even though you can get it by the 1/2 lb. Then waiter came back and said he was wrong...I could get it. Then it came out incorrectly and with no sauce. And when I mentioned it wasn't chopped like I asked, I was just stared at until I finally said, "I'll make it work" and waiter just walked away. Managers seem to be preoccupied, not checking on tables. So, it was a very average effort for the $$.

There for lunch so not too busy or loud. Service was good. BBQ trio -good ribs excellent brisket( (we got lean) pulled pork a bit fatty. Meat was moist. One enjoyed his Mac n cheese Coleslaw so-so. BBQ sauce on the side was awkward and messy in little cups. Wish they just had squirt bottles like most places. On the expensive side though. They validated our parking so it offsets the price

We had a great time there last night watch the band Casual Abstinence perform. I had a few Back Porch Bourbon Iced Teas and the Trucker Snacks appetizer and I was fed and buzzed all night. Our server was great but I forget her name now. The band played great rock ‘n’ roll songs that we really enjoyed!

First time here and loved the menu choices. Service was excellent. Our server was friendly and checked in often. We ordered the Burnt Ends Saturday special plate. Brisket was sooo soft and flavorful. We also ordered the brisket nachos. Huge portion of them. Good beer on tap too! Tried the Bub City Lager which when it's hot outside, it really hits the spot. Ambiance is loud, lively and casual. Prices are pretty fair esp since many dishes come with sides. Validated parking as well.

I love the Mac and cheese with pulled pork its one of the reasons I come back. Depending on when you go it can be a little loud with music so if you are looking for quiet dinner this is not the place for it but if you like music and fun crowds this could be a place for you

The food was good, just found it to be pricey for bbq. Have had better and have had worse, but for the price I would expect it to be exceptional and it was just good.

They didnt have tater tots and if you wanted another side you have to pay for upcharge even though my meal came with a potato dish so I had to settle for waffle fries. First time here didnt like that food is baked bbq not actually off the grill but has some flavor still.

Arrived for our 6:45pm reservation, they had to find us a seat in the restaurant, nothing reserved for us. I explained that we needed a table with chairs, elderly father standing there with his cane. I can hear the staff discussing not doubling someone up and needing a large section for a 9:00pm reservation. The worker escorts us to a high-top table. Explained again to the young man this was not going to work and when I made the reservation through open table I requested a regular table for seating. After more deliberation with his colleagues he seats us at a booth on a raised platform We made it work, but again, not what I requested nor ideal for a party with an 89 and 86 year old. Service was ok, besides the pulled pork slathered in BBQ sauce the meat portions of the meal were very dry. Chicken added to a "Caesar salad" had no flavor, terribly dry, and the "parmesan cheese" looked like it came out of a Kraft grated cheese can. updsides- A side salad came out fresh and before the rest of the meal, the waitress was on top of that. Fries and tator tots were crispy and well seasoned. The baked sweet potato slices were also tasty. The lettuce on the salad was fresh. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Attention Pre-Shift: YOU ROCK!!! Fortunate to have Emily as our server twice over the weekend during a sold out area from a convention, and she was awesome. Manager Matt was fantastic also. And Mark the bartender mastered the entire bar by the American Flag single handed like it was nothing. And as if the staff being great was not enough, absolutely fantastic BBQ!!! The big platter of brisket, pork and ribs is bing enough for 2 to share. And each item was delicious. On the second night, I stuck with the brisket on its own. Lastly, the cornbread skillet... if you're from the South even YOU will tip your cap at how good it is. We wish we had time to stay for the live music, but we had to miss out on it due to eating early, and didn't want ot squat a table for hours on end. The place was PACKED, so it's a testament to others thinking the same as us about how awesome it is. Sorry we won't be back to Rosemont for a while, but if we are, we'll get a reservation for a booth ASAP! Thanks for the two great experiences!

This was our first time dining at Bub-city. Plus the first time I had used Open table for reservations. I was glad to see that everything worked out well. We were seated and had great seats. Our server Page was such a great young lady. She put us as ease. We had a couple of salads and some boneless wings. Everything was so delicious. The only bad part was trying to get out of the parking garage. So people didn’t get their card validated which caused a backup. Felt like the Kennedy at rush hour.

Both Bub City and Joe’s Live offer event and party options for groups ranging from eight to 1,500 guests. From corporate dinners and bachelorette parties to VIP experiences in one of the private rooms that overlook the Joe’s stage, the space offers a wide variety of entertainment for groups. In addition to in-restaurant event capabilities, Bub City also provides off-site catering and rents out “The Rig,” a mobile barbecue trailer that brings the barbecue experience right to guests’ doors.
