Great location on the beach, with a live musician. Outstanding food. We had the prix fixe menu with wine parings. Poke for each of us, Koa kampachi for my wife, venison for me, and lilikoi tarts for desert. The waiter bought us each different wines for each course including port and a dulce for desert. Great service! It is expensive though; for us more for special occasions.
Very romantic, beautiful views of the sunset, attentive and friendly service and the food was good.
The food was excellent!
The sunset view was perfect.
Hi, we dined on a Friday night at 7:30pm. This was the earliest reservation we could find at this restaurant for the week we were there. Our waiter appeared to be attentive in the beginning but forgot to put in our to go orders (eventhough he wrote them down) and left us alone for what seemed like 45 minutes. The food was good but I would rather dine at Roy's where the waitstaff makes you feel welcome and remembers your order. It was a awkward night overall which wasn't what I would expect of such a highly rated restaurant.
We had some food come out cold and a incomplete order.
Wonderful 30th anniversary celebration you took such great care of us !! Thank you for making our time special.
We recently had dinner at Brown's Beach House and the view of the ocean is outstanding, with the dinner experience enhanced by live acoustic guitar music.
The food was very good making the overall experience for our anniversary celebration a memorable one!
Just perfect setting. Steaks were the best
Wonderful experience. Not to be missed.
One of the best meals I have ever had. The duck, a meal of which I am not normally I fan, was divine. I wanted to savor every bite. The food was only matched by the ambiance as we dined as we watched the sunset on the beach. The service was also fantastic. This place is pricey but if you can afford the splurge it will be worth it.
We’re staying at the fairmont for our honeymoon and we’re a little put off at first as there were only reservations available at 8:30pm regardless of us being guests they weren’t super helpful, luckily as it got closer to 6 we noticed openings and were able to quickly snag one! Food was delicious, as were the drinks and the live music was nice. Overpriced for what it is but not surprised given the locale. If we can get a reservation we will be back
The best service (Bruce). Amazing food. Incredible setting. Love this place
What a wonderful experience. Great food, with an amazing view, wonderful service, and we’ll valued.
This is a great special occasion dining experience. We had reservations for a sunset dinner and the setting and view was amazing. The staff was superb—so friendly and attentive. They had live music. We had the prix fixe as well as a la carte dishes and everything we ordered from the salad to clams to entrees (steak, fish, lobster) were very tasty. Portions for the appetizers were on the smallish size; entrees were a good portion size. It is a bit pricey but for a memorable experience definitely worth it.
The atmosphere and service were very good. However, the food was inconsistent. The first course, onion soup completely lacked seasoning, while the sides, root vegetables and mushrooms, were so salty they were difficult to eat. The entrees were seasoned properly, but weren’t particularly notable.
Absolute perfection in every aspect. Ambience, cuisine, service. Our server Sam was a spectacular host. Even the live music was beyond what one would normally expect at even very fine restaurants.
Alice is the best server I have ever had. The onion soup was delicious. The warm bread. A great experience!
From the time we sat down at our ocean front table to the time we left, this was a dinner we will never forget. Samuel was one if the best servers I have ever had and was always willing to take a minute and talk to us about life on the island. The food was incredible and it couldn’t have been more perfect of a 1st anniversary dinner.
A Beautiful location with great live background music. Amazing views for a sunset dinner.
Food was terrific and the service was spot on.
We had a wonderful time ans would highly recommend it.
Spectacular! A++ service. We have some food sensitivities, and meal was custom created for our needs. Seating 15 yards from the ocean. Delicious hawaiian inspired meal. Absolute perfection.
Everything was fabulous! We sat outside in a beautiful setting and had a delicious dinner. The service was terrific. It was an experience we will never forget!
Phenomenal night with Bruce. It rained in the middle of our meal and he scooped up our plates and told us to save the wine. He made it an unforgettable experience.
Their bread, shrimp appetizer, and crab crusted kampachi was amazing. Everything else was kind of meh. Big points for making their restaurant look and feel like the set for Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Beautiful setting, music and service! The food was delicious and artistically prepared and presented!
Beautiful outdoor dining with live entertainment. Very nice dishes professionally prepared and served. Expensive as expected but anything good is on the island.
Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. Ambiance was spectacular, food was amazing, and service was out of this world. Summerlyn made the best recommendations and was so much fun to talk with. She really made the experience great and exceeded our expectations. Food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the Ono fish special and the prime rib. We split the mushrooms and sweet potato hash as our appetizers. Everything was seasoned perfectly and SO FLAVORFUL! Sunset views were on point, and the musician was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!
High level outdoor dining experience but still Hawaiian casual.
Janice was great! Wonderful relaxing dining experience. Best view.
We went here for the first dinner out of our honeymoon. The service, food, and ambience were all excellent. The live music was also very good. Everything was perfect!
Service and ambiance were absolutely impeccable. Food was delicious and our filet was cooked perfectly. Our reservation was at 6pm so we had the perfect backdrop of the breathtaking Hawaiian sunset.
Fantastic!! Beautiful location, exceptional food (the wife got the filet, I got the ono special), and phenomenal service (Christian went above and beyond), accompanied by beautiful island vibe covers and a lovely sunset. Well worth it for a special dinner!
Wonderful location and ambience. Attentive staff and a limited, creative menu done very well.
Friendly staff, incredible views, stunning setting.
This was the best restaurant we went to after many top rated restaurants. If Hollywood was to create the ideal restaurant in Hawaii - this is it. The service was impeccable yet friendly and seamless. There was a wonderful musician singer playing all night and perfectly situated to enjoy the sunset fading to tiki lights and string lights to replace the sunset show. The food was so creative and outstanding. Do not miss this one.
Fabulous service fabulous food
My husband had the duck which he said was delicious, but the 5 spice hash was way over seasoned and he could not eat it. My filet was vary large, juicy and delicious. The coconut sorbet was excellent.
Amazing food! Very attentive and thoughtful service!
Everything was amazing. Such a beautiful location. Excellent service and all of the food was delicious!
The ambience is par none, service fantastic, Hawaiian courses very good but for those who are not adventurous, there is little option. This would be acceptable at a fine dining restaurant but not at a resort. My husband’s rib eye was drowned in a garlic sauce, the fern stalks ill prepared and the mashed potatoes in marrow bone greasy and tasteless. There needs to be at least one chicken and beef entree that appeals to the North American palate.
