Brown Butter Southern Kitchen & Bar Ratings and Reviews
I came here the day before starting my diet and, I promise, their brunch burger is one of the absolute best in town - hands down!!!
Beautifully prepared burger on brioche bun, with brie, arugula, a fried egg, and bacon jam. O!M!G!
Staff is awesome! And it's always a special treat when Simon Beck is there!
We were in town for the sugar bowl and chose this as a result of reviews. It was way off the beaten path and we questioned our choice when we pulled up to a very nondescript building. So glad we stayed! The food was AMAZING!! And the staff was delightful! We had a large group and everyone was very happy with the food and the experience! Would definitely recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the brunch. Our "bennys" or eggs benedict dishes were creative and tasted great. The service was excellent. I would love to go back to the bar, which is at the back of the restaurant. Definitely recommend it!
Overall a great experience! We had a large group of 12, and had 2 more than expected show up, so 14 total. The restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us and the hostess was extremely kind and helpful with the situation. The waiter was friendly and did a great job with our large group, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was wonderful, too! The brisket was delicious and the other tastes I had of dishes at the table were great as well.
Our server was wonderful and had great menu knowledge. I believe his name was Logan but I might have misheard him and it was Morgan. The place was super cute. We went in for the burger and beer special and ended up trying the short ribs and the brunch burger. Great choice! Loved the nectar cream soda.
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!! If you're like looking for that home cooked/back yard grill taste, THIS is the place! We started with the fries pickles (ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS) and had 2 plain burgers with cheddar and they were phenomenal! The fries were homemade REAL potatoes, NOT the frozen bag fries(EW!). AWESOME PLACE! We'll be back!
The tipping is not user friendly. An electronic tablet is presented with the meal and drinks charge with a tip blank and the tip choices are zero,20 or 25 %,with no ability to vary from those choices. There must be a better way.
Food was outstanding. I had the brunch burger and the wife had the debris fries. Both were excellent. The boudin hash was not that good though it was mushy and not much flavor and service was a little slow but it was worth it. My brother and his wife came along and had the fried green tomatoes and he had the brisket brunch and theirs were also very good. Ill be back for sure
I have been a patron of Brown Butter ever since they opened and have never been disappointed. They have one of the best burgers in the city. Amazing fish specials. The house salad or the veggie wedge is worth a trip. Always consistent.
The food we ordered was very good! The bread basket was more food than we expected and the various spreads were unique and nice. I went here for the Brunch Burger and was not disappointed - it was a very well cooked burger and the toppings were great. It was surprisingly empty for a Saturday afternoon but that made our experience a little more enjoyable. I'll definitely take a group of friends back!
