Brown Butter continues to deliver phenomenal food and service. The staff are all friendly and helpful and we’ve never regretted any of the menu choices. One of our favorite spots in New Orleans.

One of our favorite restaurants. Normally we visit for the happy hour burger. Only issue is my better half wanted to get an order of their fabulous biscuits to go. With the limited menu this was not an option. So we are planning to go back soon for the regular brunch menu for the biscuits and the poutine.

Found this place on opentable and booked brunch for Easter Sunday. Was a bit disappointed that there was a fixed menu for the Easter Brunch. However the service was amazing, food was amazing and they had bottomless mimosas as part of the brunch. They even gave us some mimosas to go!

This little hideaway is always a bevy of excitement. It's a bit noisy and crowded, but the food and service are fabulous. The chef is creative with his delicious entrees. I've visited for lunch and this last time Sunday Brunch. It's a fun place and I will return.

The brunch burger was good but the shrimp and grits were not. The shrimp did not taste fresh, were clearly frozen. Unsure why any NOLA restaurant would try this. We know the difference.

Great service, the food was delicious, served at the perfect temperature. I enjoyed a craft cocktail and my spouse enjoyed one of the great local beers. Our young children enjoyed their meals and voted Brown Butter one of the favorites. Get the fried pickles!

The shrimp on the butter bean dish were the spicest shrimp I have ever eaten. And as a native, that is really a strong statement.

Went to Brown Butter on a Saturday afternoon. Service was great with our large group and food was excellent. The only complaint we had was a couple (of our many) mimosa pitchers seemed to be almost all orange juice & very little champagne, which is disappointing. Other than that, I highly recommend them for brunch and can’t wait to go back to try dinner.

We went for lunch on a Tuesday. It looked like there was 1 waiter & 1 bartender. We were advised that they were out of Pate & Chicken Wings. The service took a while, but we weren't in a hurry. Food was delicious & presented well.

We had reservations. We were seated immediately. Our service provider was nice. He did not do too much with respect to menu explanations or recommendations. He took our orders as soon as we were ready. When we finished our meal, we had to ask about dessert. Service provider did not offer a dessert menu or describe the desserts very well. We were not offered coffee. The food was very tasty. We were a party of four. Everyone ordered something different. All enjoyed the entrees. Restaurant had a nice casual neighborhood vibe. Negatives: The restaurant is kind of dark. The walk back to the Restrooms is kind of trashy and cluttered - may be this is part of the ambiance? These are minor overall. I would definitely return. I will recommend to friends because the food is so good and the cost is very reasonable.

I had an out of town guest who wanted to meet for lunch, so I suggested this place. I had never been here before, but the reviews were pretty good. I don't know where those people went, but this place was a huge disappointment. It was a Monday and they were out of a lot of stuff, including hamburgers which is supposed to be their signature item. (Cute Cow decorations everywhere.) They used Mardi Gras weekend crowds as an excuse and said that the same thing had happened the week before. Why not order more food then?
The food was so bland and unremarkable as to be embarrassing for a City known for food. My guest ordered a dish with beans, shrimp and mirliton. Turns out they were out of mirliton, but our waiter didn't mention this. I tasted it and it was so tasteless. My food, which I now can't remember what I ordered, was also bland...needed seasoning.

Almost as soon as we finished eating, the waitress came over and asked us to settle up. She basically came with a tablet, recited what we ordered and demanded the credit card right then and there at the table. I get trying to be environmentally conscious and wanting to save paper, but at least she should have offered us the opportunity to view the actual bill on the tablet. It wasn't a fast food order. How many times have you reviewed your bill in a restaurant and found inaccurate charges? Plenty for me. Also, she said she'd take something off since they didn't have the mirliton. I don't think that actually happened. We felt rushed and the place was not crowded at all.
I will say that the restaurant is cute and nicely decorated.

Lastly, while they have a lot, it's small with tiny spaces and it's shared with the other stores on that strip. I have a SUV and I had trouble getting in the first space and even on the next space that opened up, I was concerned that the car next to me would ding me with their door.
This place is a hard "NO!" for me next time. Too may other options in the City that Loves Food.

love to food and staff. hate how noise it is when busy. It unfortunately bothered my 2 year old to much. so we had to get our food to go. Maybe there is a was to hang some cloth up like curtains or something to help deaden the sound.

Still the best burger!

YALLLL! We had never come to brunch here but I took a chance because we love the burgers so much... THAT WAS THE BEST IDEA I EVER HAD! I mean this is competing with ruby, to me, and with 15 dollar mimosa pitchers you can’t beat it!

Start with the board. So many tasty offerings.
And the Brussels bowl?? 😍 definitely recommend asking for a side of garlic aioli to make this over the top. Tried the Carolina wings this time and I’m looking forward to trying the garlic parm wings next time!
