Disappointed to say the least. Food both steak/lobster was overcooked and tough, (couldn't cut lobster meat with a steak knife! Shrimp scampi was also overcooked, small, and oily. service from particular waitress was worse than a typical chain restaurant. Long wait for terribly prepared and served food. Waitress briefly apologized but did nothing to compensate. Expected so much more from a small privately owned stand alone seafood/steak restaurant that's been in business in the region for years. Tried this place for first time after many positive things being said about it, but won't be back. Way overpriced for the level of service and quality of food and overall dining experience.

My wife and I went to Bristol's for our anniversary dinner. The service was very good. The food was amazing as always. Our server did a wonderful job.

Matthew was a superb waiter. He was very attentive. He was on top of the restaurants offerings. We’ve come to Bristol’s for our special occasions. This was a celebration of our 56th wedding anniversary. Matthew remembered handling a previous celebration with us. The recommended wine choice was very tasty. The main course and dessert were outstanding and were served promptly and was hot. This was a perfect celebration. We will be back.

Good was good though my steak came rare (ordered medium rare), my husbands was perfectly cooked! Potatoes were DRY. The glasses of wine we ordered were out of stock. We each had a priced fixed meal, put in our orders for dessert - they didn’t have what my husband but we could wait 20 minutes - nope. Service was VERY slow - seemed like the kitchen was backed up but our waiter kept us informed and kept contact with our table, which was appreciated.

Good food but quality has a little uneven. Carrots undercooked. Halibut was slightly burned around the edges. Lobster bisque was excellent. Overall a good meal, if pricey.
