Maine Lobster Bisque
Probably one of the best all around dining experiences we've had.
Excellent service, great food. Highly recommend Bristols. Never disappoints.
We are never disappointed in our dining experiences. Superb and friendly wait staff, wonderful food, perfect service, very discreet.....
The Lobster Cobb, the Oysters, the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Mussels were all fabulous!!
And as always our server, Marshall , was outstanding! Love this place!
Nice environment and excellent service. It was second trip on consecutive visits to the area. I recommend Bristol Seafood Grill to everyone who appreciates seafood and other menu offerings as well.
The food was excellent. I had black grouper, while my husband had the mixed grill. Others in our party had mahi mahi and crab cakes. Everyone was very pleased with their selections. Our server, Marshall, was very attentive but unobtrusive.
Bristol's food is always good and we never feel rushed. It's a nice relaxing evening when we need a night out.
We made reservations but we still had nearly a half hour wait!
Food was well prepared and delicious.
Entrees are perhaps a bit overpriced, but the quality was outstanding as always. Great cocktails, and excellent wine selection.
Sea bass was undercooked. Returned but was still not correct. Took home to cook properly. Highly disappointed.
My father in laws birthday dinner. Wonderful meal!
Chef Hawk is THEE TRUTH! Our food was 5 star excellent! Chef Ramsey would be proud! Keep on Hawking!
It was our first time here and we were both very impressed with the overall experience. We will definitely return.
Like always seafood was great. Grouper was done to perfection. Scallops were good. Wine selection was okay as well. Service was up to their normal high standards.
Food was amazing! Loved 1/2 price wine bottle promotion on Sundays. The only ding is that the "alcove" where we were seated was cold. May have been due to the outside temperature. Awesome dining experience.
It was GREAT. Only thing is what we went for ; Fried Lobster tails: they only had for two days.
It needed to be longer because I would be back to get it again TODAY!
First time visit and it didn't disappoint. Great food and even better service by Tony!
One of our favorite places. Food is fabulous and service is exceptional
Tony is one of my favorite waiters in St. Louis. Bristol's is my favorite place for seafood and the meal was outstanding! Best seabass in St. Louis!
We used to go to Bristol's a few times a year. New Year's Eve was the first time we had been back due to the pandemic. I was not happy that only a few of the staff wore masks. I also saw an employee use the same cloth to clean multiple tables without even rinsing it off or using a spray cleaner, which is just spreading germs from 1 table to the next. Now to the food, the prices have gone up which I expected but the quality went way down. The mashed potatoes were just a hard glob on the plate, no flavor and certainly not fresh. My husband's dinner which cost over $60.00 was not right. He sent his steak back because it was not med rare as ordered, it was medium well. The next steak was only slightly better and he ate it because at that point everyone else was done. It wasn't very busy and our food took a very long time to come out. Our order was wrong throughout the entire night, at 1 point the waiter argued with us about it. I would have thought given all the issues a manager could have come by to say sorry your experience has not been good, but I guess he couldn't be bothered. Also for my vegetables, I got what looked to be the few scraps left over because it certainly was not a full serving.
It was a New Year’s Eve and it was super busy. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Food was great as always and everyone working there were friendly and efficient. We always enjoy eating at Bristol’s.
The food was really good and so was the service. We will go back.
We had a party of five on New Year's Eve. The food was delicious and the environment was perfect. Our server, Mark, did an outstanding job.
Food is outstanding and service is fantastic. Best seafood in the St. Louis area. Make sure to try the crab cakes and carrot cake.
Dodd abs service were great
The mixed grill was delicious. All the seafood was perfectly seasoned and cooked. A great meal!
My guest and I had an awesome experience.
We had reservations for 6:45. We were sat on time and a server brought out the bread but no drink orders taken. After 30 min we had to go find a server to order. Server was good and friendly and said the kitchen was behind and she was helping out the cooks. After ordering it took almost 30 minutes to receive our food. Several of us had fish and fried potatoes. The fish was great but the fried potatoes were old and dried out and inedible as was the asparagus. We were not in a hurry but we’re disappointed on how long everything took. I understand places being short staffed but disappointing when you have reservations. They did give us some free dessert
We were seated promptly upon our arrival. Our waiter was very attentive to us, explaining the menu items since my husband was a first time customer. He answered all of our questions. I ordered the creme brulee for dessert thinking I would get the flames at my table. the dessert was very tasty.
Fish was raw like tuna raw but on mahi mahi. Waitress tried to say it was just the color of the fish, plainly RAW. Nasty over priced underwhelming.
The service was excellent, the food was superb and noise level was good.
Cocktails delicious (Eastsider and White Manhanattan); shrimp cocktail very good---large shrimp and excellent sauces; trout expertly prepared and very delicious.
The seafood at Bristol‘s is always amazing. Unfortunately, and presumably because they are shortstaffed, the service was slow. We were initially seated at a table near the front and nobody even approached us for over 10 minutes, but when several groups walked by unmasked, we asked to move to a new table. At this point, our waiter did pay attention to us and actually timed our dinner perfectly. Bizarrely, we had oysters and they could not find cocktail forks for us to eat them with, and we shared one fork.
The firecracker cauliflower appetizer was a great start to our meal. Just the right size and the sauce was outstanding. I ordered the sea bass from the fresh fish menu and it was just as the waitress described--buttery and delicious. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. Our server, Laura, was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place if you like great seafood.
We started going to Bristol's in 1986, still going there.
If you haven't been there, you should go.
Find out why we still go, for yourself.
good service and outstanding food taste and quality.
Excellent food, crab cake appetizers seem to be getting smaller and more expensive ($21) each time we visit. Big Eye Tuna was amazing but be sure to eat while hot for best taste. Sea Bass was really good.
