Bristol Seafood Grill - Creve Coeur
One of the best for crab cakes and seafood. Love the veggie sides, fairly large portions Whrn folks are hungry, a few choices of entree salads are a nice lunch option.
Bristol’s never disappoints. I had the almond crusted tilapia on asparagus. the berries sprinkled around it made for a delightful flavor experience.
We loved being in a quiet room with our family. That quiet and privacy allowed us to truly have conversation and an outstanding visit with each other. Our service was outstanding. The waiter, etc. could not have done a better job. The food was outstanding and the selection of food and drinks was excellent. We loved your graciousness in providing a birthday treat for our family members birthdays. It was a wonderful, special place to celebrate.
We had a great dinner of crab cakes and steak. Everything was wonderful as usual
A lovely place with great food and excellent service. We very much enjoyed our evening and will go again.
This is the third time we’ve tried their Sunday brunch buffet. The omelet bar was fantastic. The selection of foods was great. However, other than the omelet, the hot foods were just warm. It would help if the containers were covered, which would hold in the heat longer. The service as far as getting a Bloody Mary was very slow. We had to ask again where it was. The bisquits weren’t served until we asked for them. They need to hire additional staff to handle that many customers.
Food was outstanding and service impeccable
We went for a birthday dinner. The service by everyone was wonderful, from the folks bringing biscuits and our meals, to the people clearing our plates. The food was fantastic as always. We both had the barramundi, which was perfectly done, as were the sides. The complimentary birthday dessert and candle finished the meal and celebration nicely. We are always so pleased with our meals here.
I ordered my favorite Salmon Panzanella salad. The salmon was very undercooked so I sent it back. When it came again it was still undercooked. Our server gave me a delicious cup of lobster bisque while I waited. I took my third salad to go. Our server also seemed to be less available after the snafu and we had to wait for drinks check.
Excellent food. Excellent service. One of all-time favorites. Will definitely return again and again.
The service and food were outstanding. An excellent location for a business lunch—probably my favorite spot in St. Louis.
The fresh seafood was outstanding. The soup, salad, appetizers and entrees were prepared to perfection. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming. All in all dining was a pleasant experience and I am already recommending the restaurant to my friends.
Patty (not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) was wonderful. The crab cakes were delicious and so was the shrimp and scallop rigatoni!
Food is very consistent! Tonight I had swordfish rubbed with a bbq rub. Excellent!
After 4 years of celebrating special occasions here, we will not be returning due to the poor service and subpar meal we experinced on our last visit. The cumlination of horrible service, food that didn't live up the expectaions based on our previous visits and a hair in our dessert we will not go back to any Bristol nor will we recommend it to anyone. I think there is something seriously lacking by way of the management and the kitchen quality control. This is very sad as we always looked forward to going here.
Had a relative come into town over the weekend, so the family went out for oysters and dinner. We sat at the bar and had such a great experience with Trey that we ended up having dinner at the bar as well. Food, drinks, & dessert were all great.
Food was fantastic as always and our waitress Taylor did a great job. My wife loves the Gumbo as a starter and I’m a huge fan of the lobster bisque. Both were served to perfection. My entree was the swordfish and it was very moist and tender. The Yukon Gold potatoes were very good also. For dessert I had the carrot cake it was both delicious and huge. I will have dessert for the next couple of nights too! Also- Sunday’s are half price on bottles of wine....some very nice bargains there too!
Excellent choice of fish plates and other menu items
Tony was our waiter last night, he was outstanding. If you’re interested in going I would ask for him to be your waiter.
Everything else was great as well.
We have dined at Bristol’s for 40+ years and have always been very pleased. This was our worse experience ever.
Our drink orders were taken after our meal order I received the wrong glass of wine and the wrong size which was later corrected. One of our companions was told you ran out of the wine for her when she brought the rest of the drinks. So she didn’t have her drink when the rest of us were served
The entrees were mediocre, not cooked well, the green beans old and not warm. The shrimp tasted stale and also not warm. My barramundi was not cooked well and tasted old
A very disappointing meal
Our server (Taylor) was the perfect balance of friendly and professional, attentive without being invasive. The food was amazing! Their creme brulee (my favorite dessert) was the best I've ever had!
Great food great service. Sword fish is always excellent
Bristol's is the place to go for outstanding seafood. I am looking forward to returning for a happy hour very soon.
Surprised by the champagne for our Anniversary! Great meal and service!
Best seafood in St. Louis. Cocktails were healthy, service was great, and the entrees were fantastic. Calamari was light and crispy.
Went here for an anniversary dinner. The whole staff wished us a happy anniversary throughout the night and everyone who we interacted with was so polite and genuine. Even got a complimentary champagne toast! 10/10 recommend.
Service was very good. Food came reasonably quick. Lobster was excellent. Filet came a bit rather than expected but was tasty. Swordfish was terrific, cooked to perfection and very fresh.
Steak was dry, no juice, ordered carrots and got asparagus. Hostess was excellent and accepted the meal as I didn’t want to ruin the occasion. Disappointed with our time here after many years of coming to this establishment.
We had a great time. Our server was great! I hate I didn’t get his name. But he made out New Year’s Day brunch even better!
The New Year's brunch food was fresh, plentiful, and elegantly displayed. The server was polite and attentive.
This was our anniversary celebration dinner. We’ve been coming to Bristol’s off and on for about 12 years without any real issues except for our most recent on New Year’s Eve. There were several issues beginning with our waitress, secondly the food presentation and thirdly the food itself.
Our waitress appeared antsy; not very engaged-not very attentive.
Ordered the fried calamari-greasy…ordered the Panko shrimp, the overall presentation and taste was greasy…the lump crab cakes lacked any taste and were chalky…the Caesar salad was bland and to top it off the peanut butter torte was very heavy (not a light mousse at all) and not very peanut buttery. Also the biscuits have changed for the worse-overall lack of flavor and high standards no longer exist ….Not sure what is going on over at Bristol’s…new chef…management changes????? A word to the wise; please lower the elevator music it ruins the ambiance.
It was absolutely horrible
The risotto was ice cold glop and scallops were cold and rubbery
Went for a New Years Eve dinner. Got seated right away even though we were about 30 minutes early for our reservation. Was happy about that. Our waiter was friendly but it was weird that when he started telling us who else would be helping he said a woman’s name and then said” oh no never mind not her she just got fired. So she won’t be helping tonight. Sorry we were all just talking about her. “. Don’t think we needed all that info. We ordered an appetizer and he totally forgot about it. Our main courses came and when we asked what happened to our appetizer he said oh, let me put that in for you. Um no thanks that won’t be necessary now. Two of the four meals came with the wrong sides. Our waiter did quickly address that but seriously after forgetting the appetizer order and then messing up 2 out of 4 orders?! To spend this much on dinner you sort of expect a little better attention to details. The food was all very good. Crab cakes are always amazing and were again this night.
New Years Eve
Nice with enjoyable food. Goodly sized portions
It was, as always, very good. Service was exceptional.
Music just a touch too loud. I miss table cloths.
The food was great although the ladies steaks ordered well came pretty medium/rare. They took care of correcting that and apologized for the error. Our waitress didn't seem to be quite with it. I have dined here before and the presentations of the Raspberry Ice tea and the Lobster Bisque are usually very fun to watch. I was hoping for my guests that they could enjoy that as well. Both were simply served like any other restaurant. The raspberry tea is steeped in the kitchen and brought to the table. The hot tea is then poured over a pretty glass pitcher full of ice. A glass of the iced tea is then poured and the pitcher is left at the table. The lobster bisque is normally served by bringing the bowl with a small portion of lobster in the bowl. The soup is then poured over the lobster filling the bowl. Not a big deal and it won't keep me from coming back again. My steak was tender and cooked the way I like it.
The food was good but i thought it was a little on the expensive side. We had the lave cake which was disappointing.
Good job to all
One of our favorite restaurants in St Louis and our "go to" for special occasions! Food is delicious and service is always exceptional.....
New Year’s Eve dinner, a day early. Old but smart
