Bristol Seafood Grill - Creve Coeur
Excellent food and wine selection. Very friendly staff and service was impeccable. We were from out of town, found this wonderful place to dine and went back a second time during our trip!
All fresh fish dishes were excellent. Our birthday celebration was very nice
We lived in St. Louis for 14 years and Bristol's was a regular spot for us, until we retired and left in 2012. Excellent food, good service, and the best carrot cake I've ever had. It was great to be back in STL and eating at Bristol's again.
Our family met here for dinner after attending the PGA tournament. The food and service were outstanding. The salmon and crab cakes were cooked to perfection. Even though the restaurant was bustling we were able to converse and hear one another easily. I would definitely go back!
Food was wonderful, Staff was great. Will be returning.
Bristol's NEVER disappoints. We have been going to Bristol's since it opened years ago, and the food and service remain consistently excellent. Different members of uur party of 4 had lobster bisque, crab cakes, trout, halibut, all perfectly prepared. Service is always highly trained and professional and friendly.
Excellent lobster bisque. Waiter was very attentiveand efficient. Our seafood sampler was just right for two to split. Will return.
Rebecca our server was amazing! We came in to celebrate my birthday and both of my kids were restless and not the best behaved. She was amazing with the kids but also made us feel like we need to enjoy our evening out. Can’t wait to come back again and enjoy an evening with out the kids! Need to plan soon. And food, ambiance is always fabulous!!!
Excellent fish service was good. very fresh and fixed with great flavors
Food was delicious, but not satisfying. Server was very rude, however. She acted as if she had more interesting things to do.
Received email of oyster special. Server was not aware of the terms of the offer. No big deal he asked for help and our questions were answered. But later on he was rude and that is unacceptable. On top of that the oysters were poorly prepared. Will find an alternative oyster spot nex time.
Loved the lunch specials! Our server, Hayley was excellent and made my friend’s birthday extra-special. Great experience.
Great food and service was wonderful
Good, albeit a bit too noisy.
I took a friend for Sunday brunch for her birthday. We both were disappointed with food, hot items were cold, we were afraid we were going to break our teeth on the biscuits.
My friend encouraged me not to leave a tip. Instead I left a small one.
The waitress forgot our drink order and made up a story. We could not get her attention because she was chatting with a group of co workers.
As a disabled person, there is no way to access brunch food without stairs.
Those are just a few issues.
Took our family to brunch. Great variety to choose from for the whole family.
We went for Sunday Brunch, because I had the $25 off birthday gift certificate they send you for being in the email club. Even with the discount, the cost for three people, tax, and tip the cost was $80.00 and the quality of the food wasn't worth $80.00.
The restaurant needs an update. It's dark and dated. Bring in some new colors and brighten the dining area.
The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and he catered to our specific needs.
We may go back for lunch or dinner, or Happy Hour, but we're not eating Brunch here again.
Sunday Brunch at Bristol's, is five stars for variety, quality, and taste.
Bristol is our "go to" restaurant for seafood. The crabcakes are the best in the area and the tuna is outstanding.
Great seafood and service!
Everything was great except the portion size for the price was very small.
Outstanding meal! Very fresh ahi; I've never had a piece of ahi that was both perfectly rare inside and had such a delicious crust on the outside. The bearnaise with a wine reduction was unique and provided a delectable accompaniment. Chris, our waiter, guided us through a wonderful dining experience. Bristol had fallen off my radar, but we'll be back soon!
20th Anniversary Date—wanted a quiet table. We were sat in a table set aside from other tables, yet next to the Server’s Station. Away from customer “traffic”, but busy with employee “traffic”. Very Noisy, but still a nice dinner.
Food quality and quantity have fallen dramatically. Cold tasteless potatoes, crab cakes of poor quality, what happened to the creme brûlée ? I suspect large batches are made prior and heated up later resulting in poor taste. Even the cappuccino tasted like a watered down joke . Goodbye forever Bristol’s.
Birthday celebration. Was nicely handled
Excellent choice for fresh seafood, suburb atmosphere and service. We had early dinner reservation and were seated in a private room, perfect for our business clients. Salmon was prepared to perfection. Service was present when needed but did not overshadow the table.
Outstanding service from Trey our bartender to our waiter.
Another great dinner at Bristol's. The seafood was tremendous and service outstanding.
ALWAYS a great meal and fantastic service. There is absolutely no other restaurant in town where the service is so consistently excellent from the time I walk in the door to the moment I leave.
In all the years I've been coming to Bristol, the food has never disappointed me and is a dependably delicious meal.
Food, Service FANTASTIC!
There seemed to be a lack of preparation in several areas. There were no cups for any sauces at the cold food bar, pretty hard to put soy sauce on a plate. It seemed as though there was a struggle to keep food out in the cold food area, as well as at the dessert table. There were no plates at the dessert table or small forks or spoons. The beef was so raw, I mean blood red cold raw, that no one was eating it. No offer of any that was more cooked. Have had the brunch there many times and always enjoy it, maybe it was just an off day, but a little disappointing.
Their Sunday brunch is the best in St Louis as far as I am concerned. They have boiled shrimp plus raw oysters along with the traditional brunch menu. Thai chicken wings are the best around. Price includes
drinks and dessert so cannot beat it, for my money.
Bristol Seafood was outstanding in every way. Expert Service and sommelier, seafood as fresh as best San Francisco restaurants (I’m from SF), and in st Louis. My business associates raved all evening! Highly recommended
I was celebrating 50 years returned from Vietnam and was looking for a special place to celebrate. I found it in The Bristol Seafood Grill. The food was outstanding and the service outstanding, My server Mary made me welcome was very knowledgeable about what Bristol had to offer. I was extremely pleased with my dinning experience.
OK, Bristol was very, very good! The food was exceptional, our waiter Robin was excellent and the restaurant is very nice!! The only problem was it took an inordinate amount of time to get our food! Somewhat disappointing given how good all other aspects were!
Service (kitchen) tonight was slow. Our server was very nice and brought us each a complimentary cup of crab bisque to tide us over. The scallops were excellent, although noticeably smaller than at previous visits. Hopefully this was an anomaly and not a trend.
Had 3 different waitresses. Any one of them were great. All together not good. Left long periods of time waiting. Very noisy in west dining room with a wild party in next room (that should not have been served more booze). Sad because the food was awesome and a bit pricey.
I may have gotten a food bourne illness?? I also tripped on a step, despite this ...the food was great
I have been to Bristol for a number of business dinners and dinner with friends. I have never been dissatisfied with a meal or the service. It is quite a gem.
