Food was excellent as always. Our waiter was was good and knowledgeable but not as attentive or friendly as others we have had there. Overall though he was fine. My biggest disappointment is that we were in a “semi-booth” and they sat a couple next to us when other more private spots were available. The gentleman next to me talked loudly and nonstop for the next hour, which was not the ambiance and atmosphere we had hoped for. It’s still one of the best seafood restaurants in town though, so we will be back.
Service was unusually poor; very slow, cold draft that was not addressed though mentioned at seating, long after we should have been served the waiter came to say one of our orders was not available. The waiter attempted to compensate but something was seriously wrong with support staff and, or communication. Worst experience ever at Bristol’s or any restaurant i’ve patronized. The food might take me back, but it will be some time.
I went for the Easter Brunch. I was disappointed with the variety of choices for the cost. The food was at best average and there was not enough variety. Wouldn’t do a holiday visit again.
The brunch selection was terrible for the price. I literally only ate 3 of the items available & they should never make grits again
My sister and I were disappointed for the first time. Maybe it was because of it being Easter and it was very busy, but most of the food on the buffet was cold or barely warm.
Our experience was pleasurable food was good ambience service if I had any complaint at all our server did not tell us their name until later doing our brunch but overall everything was good
Easter brunch. Always enjoy our experience here.
Wonderful service and great food . Would recommend Bristol’s brunch to everyone
Bristol Seafood Grill is a great place for happy hour, Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner. I've been there for several holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter, etc) and they tend to raise the price and squeeze people in. I understand its busy and they need every table, but I'm tired of the two-seater tables where you face a wall.
Servers did a great job tending the Easter Sunday buffet. The food was replenished timely and the buffet bar was kept cleanly and tidy! Our table server was attentive. Overall, I give high marks!
Easter brunch was great! We will be back for the regular weekend brunch.
We attended Bristol for Easter brunch. We have for the past 5 years. The food is amazing every time. The selection never disappoints. And the price is incredibly reasonable. This is the best Easter brunch in St. Louis. Lobster mac and cheese alone is with the trip, but they also have breakfast items, salmon, prime rib, shrimp, oysters, and the best waffle and omelet bar around. The dessert table is also fantastic. Everything is great.
Good food, good service. We enjoyed the Easter brunch with family.
We have been dining at Bristol’s for many years and it has been a family favorite, especially for special occasions. We no longer live in the area and can only get there 1-2 times a year. Last year, we went on Good Friday and had a fantastic dinner. This year not so much. Our server was very good but the food was for the most part, a big disappointment. The lobster bisque was very good and so were the mini lobster rolls. The other entrees/sides however, were subpar. The halibut was dry and tasteless and the crab cakes were very small with no distinct flavor. The lobster risotto contained no lobster and didnt even taste of lobster. We don’t know what happened that night but we will not be in a hurry to return.
The service was good, but we were sat next to the servers station, the ceiling tiles in the area were drooping and water stained in places, the booths in our area were faded and torn. The interior definitely needs a face lift . The halibut was not great, and the carrots were burned, but the lobster and clam chowder was very good.
By far one of our favorite restaurants in St. Louis. The best crab cakes in the WORLD!
The place to go in west St Louis for seafood...service is excellent, food came quickly and was outstanding!
Ehh it was ok but not worth the price of admission. The server said they couldn’t make a hot toddy and wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu. There are better paces in stl to have a 4 course dinner for two around $250.
We are in Southwestern Illinois, but this has become our go-to for business dinners with visitors to the greater STL area who want to stay in Missouri or around the airport. Always consistent, and I appreciate the small semi-private side rooms for 5 or 6 guests. Bartenders are top notch, although it is always a hectic...but they are good at looking up and catching your eye if you are trying to place a drink order behind those seated. Only difficult thing is making the left hand turn off southbound Olive and then again to get into the parking lot...this is a very wild intersection and stretch of road at 6:00 PM.
Our server, Ebony, was outstanding. The food was well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. Half off wine was an added treat. We will be back.
Only concern was the lobster bisque soup other ordered was luke warm when it came out. They did not want to complain. Perhaps in future, servers can be aware of the temperature of the food when they serve.
As usual, the service is outstanding! It is one of the reason why I like dinning at Bristol Seafood Grill.
The brunch was wonderful. I hadn't been in a long time.Still great.Service was extremely timely, server very knowledgeable about the menu. It's a win win .
We are from Kansas City and this place was amazing!! Food was excellent and the service was fantastic! Thank you for the great experience!
Bristol's is one of our favorites! Food is usually exceptional although the crab cakes I swear are getting smaller and smaller.....maybe it's just our favorite menu item so it leaves us wanting more. Our waitress Rebecca was a delight and perfect for our party. Everything was fabulous. It's really our favorite seafood place in St. Louis and even the Filet with the scallops and Lobster risotto was perfect. Everyone else had either the Halibut, Tuna or scallops by themselves and were very happy. Great evening once again!
The server Rebecca was so nice and the Prix Fixe was a great value!
My Husband And I Went For Our Anniversary, It Was Our First Time And EVERYTHING Was Amazing...We Will Be Visiting Again
Overall, good experience but two disappointing moments: first, the bartender didn’t bother explaining that one glass of Dewers on a round ice ball costs 150% of the cost of Dewers + a mixer. Would have been good information before considering a second one. No one likes surprises when it comes time to pay the bill. Second, once we were seated and ordered, we waited a really long time for the hot bread. No sooner than we began eating those wonderful rolls, our food was served. Would have been a better experience to have those rolls offered as soon as we sat down.
Our waitress was incredible! She was so sweet and talked through all the different questions we had and upsold is on the dinner we ordered and so glad she did. Yum!
The food was very good as was the service, there were several large parties so the noise level made conversation difficult at times.
From the bar staff to the person greeting us for our reservation, even the management we were treated with respect and the greatest level of service courtesy that few restaurants give these days. The food is some of the best from the freshest fish selections to a steak that was so good I savored each bite. Our server Ed has the greatest level of detail, he is very good in recommending dishes and when we asked for a slight change to my wife’s meal it was perfect to our request. Folks if it’s your first date to almost 25 years trust everyone here will make it memorable
Wonderful experience all around. Our server Mary was attentive, knew the menu well and really took great care of us. Crabcakes were the best ever!
We chose Bristol to host our ISO Audit group, with our company president present as well. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere. The location of our table was great too-away from the main room enough so we could hear one another talk but still be a part of the energy of the restaurant. Overall great experience and would come back again for work or personal event.
We had the special and it was soooo good. I didn't leave a morsel on my plate
Excellent food and service
Lobster bisque was only a bit warmer than room temp. The sushi was almost warm. The plate may have accidentally been put near a hot in the kitchen. Service was just ok. I really like Bristol so I was disappointed with my experience today.
Most awesome fish entrees and team members are
This is one of my favorite places to go. Usually, it is only from brunch but they are good anytime.
Bristols always provides great food and service. I will keep coming back to dine here. It never disappoints.
It was packed and took us a while to be seated from our reservation. It took us about 20 minutes to get a drink. There were a lot of large parties which made things difficult. I had the halibut which was ok but not much flavor.
