    Service and atmosphere was very good. And the staff was able to give us a big booth for the two us, as requested in our reservation. Food was served hot and was very good. My only mild complaint is the bread was very average and slightly stale. I would expect a better selection at this level of restaurant. But highly recommend this restaurant.

    Great food and service! Always consisten! The seabass special was wonderful and my husband loved his blue cheese crusted steak.

    It was OK the food was lacking flavor we ordered the wagyu burger and it was nothing special, it was lacking flavor. I have to say do not order the scallops, super over priced for 4 scallops and some bacon, corn and bell peppers it was salty, it was missing a side o f mashed potatoes or something. The plate was $44, not worth it at all! I ended up eating the fries of my kids plates because the amount on food on the scallops was not enough. We went for dinner and I have to say the bar menu is a lot tastier, has more variety and has better prices. Also we were seated in the back room and it felt secluded. I don’t think I will return to have dinner, maybe lunch or happy hour. The dinner menu was lacking in dishes and the ingredients were not good to make up for the increased price. The ambiance is better at the bar area. The back room… needs to go. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and I ended up apologizing for the not so memorable experience. The service was ok. I did order some drinks that were not on the menu, and they made them for us which was nice. I did not leave satisfied, bummer.

    The server was unaware of items on the menu and could not answer specific questions. The brussels sprouts for our appetizer were extremely overcooked, I didn’t even bother to eat them. My entrée came with bacon strips that were obviously cooked ours prior to serving. They were hard, cold and tasted off. My husband did not eat his entire plate of fish and chips. They were flavorless and not worth the time. Very disappointing for a place that specializes in seafood. Overall, the food was lacking taste and proper cooking techniques. The restaurant was extremely noisy. There were two tables that were basically screaming back-and-forth to one another at their tables.  our server, never came to check in on us and asked how our meals were while we were dining. And even when he brought the check for us to Pay, our dirty dishes, still lay in front of us. It was a very disappointing, dining experience. I would advise others to look somewhere else to have a nice meal with your spouse

    Our meals were delicious. The bread was unimpressive. The sweet, dark bread was good, but the white bread seemed cheap and of very poor quality - please upgrade your bread

    Always a go to when we’re in Coronado. It’s my favorite place for swordfish. And my wife really enjoyed the pork chop last night.
