   Easy parking in hotel lot. Great server Matt. Special ( steak sandwich) was very good. Onion rings overdone and skimpy portion. Crème brûlée with fruit very good. Reasonable prices

    Food not very good. All hamburgers are only served medium well so not very tasty. Server did his job but not to personable. This fish and chips looked very overcooked--almost burned. Seemed very expensive for the mediocre meals. Nice atmosphere with great views

    Service was really lacking. There was a big party that got there before us, so somewhat understandable. We got served the wrong thing twice. I get the stress of waiting tables, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back.

    They seemed understaffed in my opinion. Claimed they were very busy yet over half their tables were open. Food quality was just okay but not worth the price in my opinion, especially given the small portion sizes. Service was extremely slow, took us just over two hours to complete our meal after we sat down I have been here many times over the years and I think that the quality has definitely fallen. On the positive side it has a nice atmosphere and was pretty quiet during our meal. Overall there are nicer places to eat for less money.

    After a recent disappointing dining experience, we were asked to come back for a second try. We were disappointed again. The food is delicious, but the server was snippy and unwelcoming. Even though we had advanced reservations, had requested a specific area, and that there were only 3 other parties in the restaurant, we were led into the bar area to be seated. It was noisy and uncomfortable. One of the reasons to visit this restaurant is the quiet, calm, comfortable ambiance of the dining room. I declined to sit in the bar and the hostess did find a table for us, again, not where we had originally requested. I’ve had mediocre experiences here the last three times I’ve visited and I think I am done.

    Remy was a great server! Over all it was good but they do not do well with Gluten free diets(I mean they put flour on their french fries). When you promote a special winter drink and charge $18 for it, it should be a good pour not barely just 1 shot. I might go back again but with different expectations.

    Excellent location for a fun date night. The setting next to Clear Creek is beautiful during the day. In the holiday times, you'd have a front-row seat to Golden's Christmas lighting along the riverwalk. We will return to try some of the other options on the menu.

    This place is stunning. Located inside The Golden Hotel, it's easy to find and the atmosphere was great. It's located in downtown Golden, so plenty of historic places to see if you need to walk off your meal. The food was amazing but the service was lacking. No one had a smile, they all seemed very miserable. Tried cracking a joke or 2, and just got a sullen look back. Please be grateful you are able to work ! Food took a bit to arrive but we weren't in any rush. We spent $100, including tip, for 2 meals, 1 soda and 2 desserts. It wasn't loud and they were able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation. The baked Alaska had an amazing meringue topping but the brownie was rock hard and inedible. My husband enjoyed his hot fudge sundae. Ice cream was real ice cream, not soft serve. Entrees were really well presented and mostly tasty(ordered a burger and the fish and chips). The coleslaw was awful, though, but that was the only thing truly nasty of both entrees. Over all, a good experience and we might revisit in the future. Just hope we get a server that actually wants to be there next time.

    I made a reservation on Open Table and when I arrived 5 minutes early, the hostess could not find my reservation and didn’t care to ask about about my seat preference as was offered in the OT app. High expectations. Low level hosted delivery. Poor start. Otherwise, the service and food were very good. I’d go back but not through Open Table.

    We sat out on the patio which was very pleasant. The food was served quickly and was delicious. They offer the usual burgers and pub fare, but the dinner is more diverse and excellent. The noise level outside made talking between each of us very easy to hear. Will definitely eat here again.

    I've eaten at Bridgewater Grill three times. All three times out on the patio which faces the river. Trees obstruct view somewhat but still pleasant to be outside with no one walking beside the railing. The food is always excellent. The wait staff is accommodating and friendly enough, but somewhat harried. I'm always happy to bring my guests there for a meal. Reservations are recommended because it is always busy.

    This was a sub-par meal from start to finish: The hostess could not care if we were there or not. My friends ordered the Miner's Salad and bacon wrapped bison meatloaf. The salad was ok but barely had a touch of beef on it. My friend described the meatloaf as bland at best. My wife had a caesar salad with chicken which was sparse and dry. I ordered the roasted half chicken and found it flavorless (for $28??) Had asked for it to come with no potatoes and extra vegs. Came with potatoes and no vegs. My wife ordered sweet potato fries with her salad. They brought them out 15 minutes before our meals were served? The highlights - Remy, our server was personable, humourous, and connective. He was the only element that pushed this to two stars.

    I ordered that tuna tartare and my friend ordered a burger. Her burger arrived and they were out of the tuna tartare but my server didn’t know that. So I had to order after my friends meal had already arrived. They had lots of help but they were not very helpful.

    Our poor, overworked server was really struggling. I know this is a common problem these days. She did the very best she could. Food was OK, but everything seemed so bare-bones - not even bread at the table. Husband's steak was good, but the vegetables consisted of 1 piece of spinach and 2 mouthfuls of potatoes. Overall, very disappointing.

    The lunch was great. Service was superior. I had elderly out of town guests and asked if we could sit outside. I was promptly told there was no space. We sat inside while there were at least 6 empty tables. We had reservations and I was told there’s no guarantee to sit outdoors. If that is so when there are outdoor seats available, what’s the secret to being seated outside? The entire hour I watched as others were seated outside and at least two tables in my view were never used. This was very deflating and disappointing. I’d like to know how I can get to be seated outdoors when it’s not guaranteed with a reservation and there were many many tables unseated.

    Found out after we arrived that the reservation we made on open table wasn’t good for outdoor seating and being that we had our dog it could have been a problem but luckily we only had to wait a few minutes. Nice to eat out by the river.
