Brave New Restaurant
Great food. Beautiful view.
This was our first time at Brave New Restaurant. My wife and I were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. Our server Lindsey was very professional and energetic and took great care of us. Head Chef/Owner, Peter Brave, was out making the rounds and checking on guests, which I always like to see. He checked in on us and we got to chat with him about how long he's had the restaurant...29 years! The food was excellent. My wife got the salmon and I got the duck. The portions are a good size too. We got the chocolate creme brulee and a scoop of the "White Russian" ice-cream. The ice-creams are made in house and are phenomenal! My only "complaint" is that the location is a bit weird; it's in an office building. We sat on the patio which was kind of nice having a view of the Arkansas River and the skyline of downtown Little Rock but I still wish it was in a better location. Oh well, Chef Peter Brave knows what he is doing and he is doing it very well! I recommend you check it out.
Our wait staff was most attentive and a delight to speak with. The food was fresh and very flavorful. Our wine was a new one for us but we made a great choice with the help of our server. The venue was also perfect. Everything was perfect!
Fun atmosphere. Interesting menu. Great execution. On the spot service.
Ask to sit on the porch. The view of the river is almost as good as the food!
We had the three seafood specials and they were very good!
Service by Ben was impeccable. The owner came and talked with us and was extremely friendly and personable. Food was amazing! We have a 4&10 year old and they openly received the kids and catered to them just as they did us! Highly recommend!!!
Great food excellent service. Good place for a romantic evening.
Walleye was wonderful as always. Loved sitting outside ! Excellent service. Always a treat!!
Brave New is one our favorite date-night spots in LR. With all the flooding in the LR area we wanted to be sure they were OK. We sat out on the deck and it was like overlooking a lake. The river came right up to the deck! As usual, the service was prompt and efficient and the meal was scrumptious. My wife and I shared the brie (which came with crackers, grapes and walnuts ) and the pine-nut encrusted salmon. We each had a dinner salad which were both great. The entree was divine and more than we both could eat. It was moderately busy on a Wed night. Try it, you'll like it!
The food was great and so was the service! Overall a great experience and look foreword to going again.
Always great food. Location is hard to find and it lacks a bit in ambience. Sitting on their deck is very pleasant though.
Fabulous meal, as usual!!!
Outstanding Food, Service, Atmosphere. A little quirky due to the location, which just makes it more intriguing Great job Peter Brave!
Lovely date night on the patio outside. Our waiter forgot a few times when we had ordered a drink and we would have to remind him. Food was absolutely amazing but took a while to prepare. Well worth the wait though. First time here and will come back again!
Great food, friendly waiter, and a very nice atmosphere
Had a business lunch on balcony. Very nice ambiance and service was outstanding.
Delightful dinner on the deck overlooking the Arkansas River. Cannon was a gracious and efficient waiter. The food was great and the evening relaxing!
Excellent walleye. I would get it again, for sure!
Ben was our waiter. He was very attentive and accommodating to our preferences and dietary restrictions. Everyone’s meal was delicious and beautiful. We had dinner with long time friends and it couldn’t have been a better evening!
It was great! We'll be back! I loved the Walleye!
Very much enjoyed the meal. Would have 5-star if my wife’s steak wasn’t a bit over cooked!
We sat outside and enjoyed the nature experience while dining!
Service started a little slow. We were beginning to question if we had a server when the tables around us were getting bread and drinks and we were there before them and still not served. But after our server finally came to us, everything turned out excellent. The food is always perfection. Can’t beat the view. Perfect date night.
Absolutely loved Brave New Restaurant! Wonderful food. Very fair wine pricing. Great seats on the deck.
Steaks were not good - sadly tough. Not a standout dinner. Waiter seemed very scattered and we had to keep asking for drinks. Not our best time at Brave.
Service was excellent!
Everything was fresh and tasty. Excellent. And Peter Brave personally visited with us to make sure all was good.
This hidden gem in Little Rock outstanding! We have been here 3 times and it is consistently good . It is our just go to restaurant in Little Rick
Food was excellent. Service was also excellent. Will definitely be going back.
Great food. Love the location. Peter is always very accommodating.
Loved the fresh scallops and walleye..and finished with the best chocolate cream brûlée. Great way to celebrate your birthday
Perfect date night! Lovely, quiet location ( a little hard to find). The avacado shrimp appetizer was fabulous.
This is one of our two favorites in Little Rock and always our first choice for my partner's birthday dinner. It must be a favorite with a great many others as the two tables nearest us were also celebrating birthdays! Always good food in a lovely atmosphere. Be sure to ask for an outside table if the weather allows.
Every time my coworkers come from out of state, this is my go to place to show them Arkansas. Never fails to impress! Food is outstanding and the wait staff are superb
My salad had a very salty dressing (side salad) which I chose not to eat because of my diet restrictions. Perhaps I should have asked- but I’ve dined here 25 times or more in last few year and never experienced salt overload.
Brave New Restaurant is my go-to eatery for out-of-town visitors or guests who haven't been there yet, and they are always favorably impressed. The bread is great, the walleye wonderful, other entrees just as well prepared and attractively presented, I like the fact that the salad is included in the price of the entree, and the chocolate creme brulee is to die for! A good wine list and impeccable service round out the picture. In warm weather you can sit outside on the balcony and watch the hummingbirds and other feathered friends—once we saw a bald eagle swoop down on the river, catch a fish, and eat it sitting on the sandbar right in front of us. Five stars!
Coffee is amazing. Food was great. Chef actually came out to talk to customers to ask about food.
Very high end clientele.
Great food and our usual table.
While visiting Little Rock we enjoyed an exemplary dinner at Brave New Restaurant. Appetizers, salads, entrees, desert & beverages were delicious and presented beautifully. Our server answered all questions well and offered insight about each course. Dining riverside was lovely despite rainy weather. If you live in Little Rock area or travel through, don’t miss the opportunity to dine here.
