Brasserie 19, located in Houston’s 77019 neighborhood, offers a modern amalgamation of French brasserie fare and well-known American influences. The menu utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients in thoughtfully prepared dishes. Brasserie 19 boasts an expansive, carefully developed wine list. Brasserie 19's sophisticated yet unpretentious interiors are bathed in deep blues, cool greys, and whites, with antiqued woods and white marble used throughout. Blue velvet banquettes are paired with woven chairs and complemented by white linen-covered tables to create a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch. Brasserie 19 serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

    The Tour De France was a great experience. The food was very tasty and dishes were elegantly made and portioned. They have great drinks and lattes with Illy coffee brand. My date and I really had great time. Thanks. Will be back in the future

    Fun and hopping atmosphere, as usual, on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, the bar atmosphere spills over into the main dining area which makes it cramped and noisy when trying to enjoy dinner. The energy is great but a little too much. People watching is excellent and the food is great. Love this neighborhood hangout.

    Once again, Charles Clark does not disappoint. Change in guests were accommodated in a snap, small issue with an entree was met with an apology, a new entree and several amazing complimentary desserts. Brasserie 19’s energy and ambience is consistent. It remains a fan favorite!

    Fish dishes were enjoyed. Pasta not so good. Cesar salad was subpar. Deserts fair. Noise level was too high. People sitting at bar were rude to the point that we had a hard time exiting bc they were standing in the aisle unaware of others around them. Won’t return.

    Had dinner with a 91 year old at her suggestion and the experience was delightful in that the sound level allowed for conversation and great stories and remembrances. Food was excellent but took a back seat to the joy of the experience!

    Excellent food, truly the best duck confit I’ve had in a long time, cocktails were fantastic, and our waiter was fabulous. However, much too loud for us, especially since the hostess placed us - clearly a family with adult kids getting together - right next to the bar with the rowdy crowd. The hostesses were borderline rude and originally wanted to give us a table next to the bathroom even though there were others available, which I refused. I guess we didn’t fit their image which strives to be “trendy single people”- yet in reality is on the sleazy side unfortunately. We hadn’t been in a while and had forgotten to ask for a table in the main section by the windows, which is much more comfortable. We love their food and cocktails though, and as I said earlier they often have great waiters, so we keep returning, although less frequently as in the past because the ambience isn’t the best.
