It was our first time in celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. I had fresh oysters and salmon salad. Both were fantastic!! My husband is a picky eater and enjoyed his meal as well.
I definitely would return to try more dishes. The duck confit was excellent. Everyone loved the salmon and best chicken ever tasted. Service was friendly, wines were affordable."
We have gone every year on our anniversary. We had the best experience this year. Our waiter was attentive and nice. The food was great and so was the lemon cheesecake.
This is the perfect place for a quiet celebration. The just food and service are outstanding. My one and only small complaint is the seating. We had a cozy table in the corner by the window. Perfect for lingering over a glass of wine. However, the chairs were so unbelievably uncomfortable we finished our meal, paid the tab and left.
We’ve been to this restaurant many times and we’ve never been disappointed. The food and service are excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.
This was our 3rd visit to Boulevard Bistro and like our 2 other times we were not disappointed. The service and ambience was attentive and relaxing. The food didn’t disappoint.
As always - amazing food (the Filet is an all-time favorite) and great service. We love coming back here time and time again!
By far our favorite restaurant! During was a great server, good was Amazing! As usual. I'm looking forward to eating at this fine establishment for many years to come.
It was a nice night out...food and service was great!
Love the food. Not to much selection, but the food was delicious
Visited for Sunday brunch and were one of three groups dining. The hash was perfectly prepared, although for the price it would have benefitted from a second egg. The French toast was okay- good bread but not much done to it, and it was smothered in what was basically raspberry jam. The result was a pile of overly sweet soft jammy toast. A good idea with mediocre execution . The coffee comes in a French press and it, like the French toast, was only okay. The fruit and cheese plate served before the meal was watermelon, banana, strawberry, and pineapple, with two slivers of mild cheddar cheese and two of the tiniest slices of spice bread. Service was awkward for how slow it was. Overall would not go again. Way too pricey for the experience you get. I hope their dinner is better.
Very quaint. Quite impressed with the food. Can’t wait to return.
I wanted to take my girlfriend out for a special dinner and Boulevard Bistro delivered. She said it was one of the five best meals of her life. The food was delicious, the ambiance was wonderful, and our server was very attentive.
Our experience at Boulevard Bistro could not have been better. We were seated at the scheduled time and our server, Duron, was full of personality and information. We actually tried suggestions that he made and we were very pleased with the results. Our main courses were absolutely delicious. Our friends had the Lamd, my wife had the Salmon and I had the Filet. The only negative the entire night came when we came the the realization that our delicious dinners were a couple of bites from totally disappearing. The desserts afterwards were also great, with the creme brulee topping the list. The service by Duron and the support staff was marvelous, and done in such a gracious manner. The restaurant is small, but you still enjoy a cozy evening. I’m speaking for the four of us when I say we were thoroughly impressed. We’ll definitely be back.
Food was wonderful and service very good as well. Unfortunately, Our table was right next to the kitchen door so it was a constant flow of servers in & out, that was the reason for the low Ambiance rating.
Wonderful date night/anniversary dinner! The food is inventive but simple - and perfectly executed. I hope to make many return visits!
Thank you for accommodating our special diet needs and our requests. Superb service! 🙏
Food, service, and atmosphere continue to impress every time.
Always an amazing experience from the ambiance to the food, all is great! Best nice restaurant in Elk Grove. Candice always goes above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience.
The service was impeccable and the food was delicious as always. New special was crab balls with apples and a magical sauce...so so good! My husband tried the new lemon cheesecake as well... delicious...
Such a cute little place..we have never been disappointed.
One of my favorite restaurants. The food, service, atmosphere, and price are all outstanding. The whole experience dining there feels special. It is the place my special friends and I go for our birthdays. LOVE Boulevard Bistro!!!
We had to wait 20 minutes for our table even we already had reservation.
I had requested to be seated somewhere quiet and in a more private area like a corner or booth, however we ended up being seated right in the middle of the room under a bright light. I got the feeling like we were on display and it kind of ruined the experience of having a quiet romantic dinner. Luckily the food was spectacular so it made up for the bad seating situation.
Amazing service and excellent food. The wines are very interesting and affordable. I liked mine so much I visited the vineyard the following day. Marrow was great, dessert was very nice, my husband enjoyed his filet and I liked the duck confit. Only "meh" was the salad (mixed baby greens) would not order that again. Service was impeccable. We got early reservations and that worked out well, we were seated immediately
We had a fabulous dinner. We had a nice table by the window. The staff is very polite and efficient. They are also knowledgeable and able to give advice on wines and various dishes. The food was outstanding, and the staff checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Although small, the restaurant was not noisy. There were many options on the menu and the price was good.
Had a lovely valentines fsy dinner.
Everything was great except for the fact that I had reservations and still had to wait 25 minutes for a table. The host was attentive to everyone (a couple at the bar and a couple at the table next to the bar) but didn’t seem to notice that my wife and I were even there. That was disappointing.
Excellent overall !!
The service was top of line. Food was amazing!! Definitely a top ten restaurant.. even better then Fire house!
The food is so good and the service is excellent! My pork tenderloin melted in your mouth! To have a place like this in Elk Grove is unbelievable!
What a gem of a restaurant. Excellent food and excellent service
Great food! Great experience! Always enjoyable!
Our favorite restaurant!!!! Everything is amazing!
Food was not as good as our previous dinners. Shrimp pasta dish was not good. Salmon dish ok but portion small.
Love eating here, as always. Tried the salmon for the first time and it was delicious but a small portion. Partner had the lamb and said it was the best he'd ever had. Focaccia bread makes me cheat on my keto lifestyle but worth it for a few times a year.
The wife and I love this place. I had the Filet Mignon and I ate it all, cleaned my plate. Best meal I had all year. The staff was great, and the food was right on time! I will always go to this place as long as the Chef Bret is there.
The day after our dinner there we were discussing the experience and realized there was not one single thing that we didn't like. The staff is outstanding - attentive, intuitive, not intrusive. The meal was excellent. The broth from the mussels is to die for. We are looking forward to the next occasion to celebrate there.
We were celebrating our 49th anniversary. Our waiter was excellent, he even admired the earrings my husband surprised me with. The beet salad was excellent, our steaks were prepared correctly but the steaks themselves were just ok. Desert was fine especially the creme brûlée. My bread pudding, a favorite of mine was ok. We will be back.
It’s worth traveling from an hour away for a special and always pleasant meal. Food is delicious and service exceptional. We’ll be back!
Never disappointed coming to Boulevard Bistro. The filet mignon is consistently fabulous - the demi glacé beyond words. The duck was exceptional! Staff is always friendly and professional. This place is my special treat to myself and to those lucky to score a gift card from me.
