Brunch: Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm
Boulevard Bistro never disappoints. We were greeted warmly and so enjoyed our menu choices. We had the wedge salad and the filet. We are never rushed there and will return.
Everything was exceptional - just disappointed that they had changed their menu and taken off the lamb entrée.
Our anniversary dinner couldn’t have been any better! Our server took such good care of us - my son has a severe dairy allergy and he went out of his way to make sure my son got a perfect meal! And the food!!!! Mind blown!!! I love that the chef always comes out to check on us because it just makes the experience feel so much more special. This is our go-to restaurant when we want a glorious meal!!!
I made a reservation for 6:30 and mentioned it was for an anniversary celebration. We arrived shortly before 6:30 and were told our table wasn't ready. We waited for over 20 minutes before we were seated in the meantime being told that our table was being cleared. Just before I was ready to walk out, we were finally seated. Then in took another 15 minutes before anyone took our order. The food was very good but waiting around for over half an hour to be seated and waited on with a reservation was not good service.
What a great place. The menu was, what I would call, somewhat limited. However, I have no complaints with the food. Everything was awesome and tasty. My wife had the salmon and I had the pork chop. Both were great.
Service was excellent and the mood was very nice and relaxing. We will return.
Always friendly, excellent service. Creative dishes, such as my oxtails served over creamy polenta. I wish we had room for dessert. I know it would have been fantastic.
Wonderful evening and excellent food.
My favorite restaurant. New, expanded brunch menu. We are lucky to have this place.
A converted home with a homey feel. We were seated quickly by the friendly staff. The food was good, but small portions. Our daughter said it was the best soup she ever had. Desert was just right, and we had a nice chat with the chef on the way out. Plan for some time to eat and talk. It's not fast food.
I liked the food a lot particularly the tenderloin sandwich. It was the perfect place for a birthday brunch --low key, not too noisy and yummy choices. Would recommend.
As always we enjoyed our meal. We love coming here for brunch especially. Dinner is lovely too. We will continue to enjoy coming here as the staff always makes us feel welcome. The menu is unique each time. So glad this place was recommended to us, by several people.
One of our all time favorites!
It one of our favorite places to go. Love the food and service. Awesome, outstanding! We had the chicken, lamb, duck, appetizer and dessert. All yummy! We love the bread there too.
The food was very good in a wonderful atmosphere. Every dish served to our table was perfect. The service was outstanding.
This was our first time dining at Boulevard Bistro and we were not disappointed. The food was well prepared and presented, and the servers were all courteous and attentive. The menu is fairly small but that makes it a simpler process to order. Sometimes those huge menus at restaurants can be overwhelming! The restaurant is not pretentious and has a pleasant comfortable atmosphere.
Forty-fourth wedding anniversary.
I took my husband and the kids for Father’s Day dinner. The food was good
Great service, quiet atmosphere, excellent food. Love the smaller portions of great food rather than huge portions of mediocre food! Only thing I didn’t love was dessert. The peach cobbler was dry and forgettable.
Went for 20 year anniversary, had a wonderful time. Nice quiet atmosphere. Loved it.
Excellent food and service.
Yummy French inspired cuisine! We always get the bone marrow and warm camembert appetizer. Their salads are small, but yummy. I like the greens with the pear and blue cheese. Hubby likes the wedge. He loves the strip steak when they have it. I enjoy the lamb and other specials such as the pork cheeks. You must get the creme brulee!!! We always get it, even if we're stuffed! Service is top notch! We love coming here for special occasions.
The best restaurant in Sacramento County. It's perfect for special occasions and dates. The food and ingredients are top quality, and service is excellent. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.
Excellent as usual. I’ve never been disappointed by Boulevard Bistro. Food, service and ambiance are all top notch.
Food was outstanding along with the service. The restaurant is very small and intimate, but the tables are placed very close together, so it can get rather loud and it's difficult not to hear everyone else's conversations. We went for our anniversary, which was specifically noted on the reservation and there was no mention of it whatsoever, and we were placed at a table in the direct center of the room, not very romantic. This was our third visit, but we will most likely go elsewhere to celebrate special occasions in the future.
Lovely food. Lovely service.
Delicious food and great service!!
Great food,,a little expensive, great service,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Always delicious food and great service.
Delicious food, perfect way to celebrate our Anniversary... We had the steak and cod, plus the baby corn appetizer - perfect :)
Totally enjoyed brunch there for my granddaughters birthday. The food was amazing and the price was way lower than I thought it was going to be. My granddaughter got a birthday candle on the peach cobbler we ordered....nice surprise that the dessert was on the house...thank you so much for an enjoyable event!!
This is our hands down favorite restaurant!!! The food is always amazing, the service perfect and we love the owner as he puts his heart and soul into every dish. Thank you Boulevard Bistro for always making us happy!!!!
Dinner food and service were excellent.
This has become one of our “go to” restaurants.
We will visit again with other friends in the near future.
A very nice place service was great, food cooked perfect, we had salmon and filet. Great for special occasions.
Everything was great. Salmon was cooked perfectly, chicken breast was moist and pork chop was hearty and very good.
We also ordered the wedge salad which was very tasty and the corn chowder. We had very friendly wait staff as well.
The only disappointing thing was that two of us in our party wanted to order the duck special, but they had already sold out.
We thought at 6:00 pm was too early not to have a special dish sold out already for the evening.
Great little place for date night. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasty. We had the tomato bisque soup, fresh salad, salmon, chicken breast and creme brulee. A small little place, I wouldn't recommend for kids. The service was very attentive. We definitely will come again.
We always have a good time at Boulevard Bistro, love the food and excellent service. Never fails to keep a customer happy, every time. I love coming back here! Thank you!!
One of us is vegetarian. Boulevard Bistro does not have a vegetarian menu, but we asked our waiter and he contacted the chef. We were presented with an outstanding vegetarian entree that surprised us. We have known about Boulevard Bistro for years, but have not gone regularly. Now we might reconsider and visit more often. It is best to make requests ahead of time, but this last minute accommodation was wonderful.
Great experience, as usual. Fantastic food, great service. The only thing not ideal is that the restaurant seems to be stuck in between a romantic date spot and a more family-friendly restaurant. It is very small and intimate on the inside, however it looks like an old house on the outside. I believe this causes some patrons to think it's more casual and a good place to bring children. On the inside, it is fairly fancy and more geared towards a romantic date spot. The couple times we've been, there was a mix of couples on dates and then families with loud children at other tables. Because the place is so small, larger families with children can change up the experience for the entire restaurant. I realize this is not particularly in the restaurant's control, so I don't knock them for it.
Quaint small restaurant in the middle of Old Elk Grove. Impeccable presentation of fresh California Farm to Fork. We have followed the owner/chef from the Ione Hotel in the years ago. We were delighted to find him closer to home. We really miss lunches here. Hopefully since the owner has closed the Sage Mill we hope he will resume lunches at the Bistro.
Very good food and service. Always a pleasure to dine at this restaurant.
