Brunch: Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm
Excellent food and service as well. What a gem so close to home!
Great food and service. Perfect for special occasions. We'll be back.
Great food cooked fresh to order. Make sure to have a reservation because the place is small. Tables are spaces appropriately.
Went for our 29th anniversary. We both had the filet. It was very good. A bit more seasoning on the meat would have made it near perfect.
The bread pudding for dessert was beyond good. I overheard another customer raving about it and even though I’m not a bread pudding fan I went for it. And it was awesome. Best thing about this restaurant is it’s only 10 minutes from where we live
Have eaten here quite often. First time ever that the meal was not quite to expectations. The salmon was just ok, the Brussels sprouts were hard as a rock and the red potatoes were just so so. Doesn't matter, anyone can have a bad day, even a chef. Will be back again.
What a fantastic find! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our meal at Boulevard Bistro.
Great food backed up by solid friendly service. Always a great choice for a nice meal.
My favorite place by far! A true Elk Grove treasure!
Great place for a refined dining experience, I don’t think anything else compares to Boulevard Bistro in Elk Grove.
I was in the other night for dinner and had to return for breakfast with my hubby. It was delicious both times!
Boulevard Bistro never disappoints!! We always say we want to try new places for special occasions but we always end up here because we know we are going to get amazing food and the best service.
A great restaurant for a special occasion or a date night. The owner and head chef greeted us at the door. The service is great and the food is excellent. The menu changes based on the season. I had the lamb and my boyfriend had salmon. Both plates had a nice presentation and tasted delicious. I highly recommend Boulevard Bistro!
Blvd Bistro continues to offer delicious Food, great atmosphere, excellent service. It is my hubby and our place to go for special occasions ie: we always go on our anniversary. This time it was for my birthday with family. But we go just to go sometimes too. It is always a very special treat.
Had birthday dinner with my daughter- the food was excellent, although smaller portions, and the service was outstanding! I highly recommend.
We had been here before a couple of years ago for an anniversary dinner, decided to return for our anniversary this year. Last time it was quiet and intimate, but this time was very disappointing in that the room was SO loud, we could scarcely converse at all. The food was good, and if it were quieter we might have better enjoyed the 90 minutes it took for dinner, but we couldn't wait to leave.
Great dinner. We've been to nearly all the top 10 places in Sacramento, and Blvd Bistro does not disappoint. Consistently provides a very high level of service and top-notch dinners, with wonderful combinations that are nicely presented. A smaller place so it has a different feel than being jammed in among 100-200 diners. Noise level is very satisfactory, even on a full Saturday night.
They don't have a full bar, but a very nice and varied wine selection and the waitress had good familiarity with the types and nuances of the varietals. We didn't try the beer, so no input on that.
Our server was quite personable, attentive and very efficient. The members in our party of six loved the mussel appetizer. Three of us ordered the lamb chops which were reportedly delicious, one ordered the pork chop which was tender, tasty and done to perfection and two of us ordered the salmon which was seared on the outside, tender and moist on the inside served atop two smashed potatoes which were crispy on the outside and warm and tender on the inside covered in a light, delicate lemony, onion sauce served with fresh string beans. For dessert we shared the homemade peach cobbler ice cream served with blueberries which was outstanding and the creme brûlée . When I made reservations on Open table they asked if there were any special requests and I responded that we were celebrating two birthdays..they gave the two birthday girls the desserts gratis It was a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion with special friends.
Good food and excellent service. Bread and fish was outstanding. Appetizers are small for sharing.
We celebrated our anniversary with a lovely dinner here. We share oysters and deviled eggs. My hubby loved his lamb rack and I enjoyed my wedge salad and mussels. Our dessert was a chocolate mousse a la s’mores. Wow!
We had brunch. The cheese and fruit plate was very plain and uninspired, plated in a haphazard way. My wife had a mushroom-based dish which, while tasty, had some mushroom pieces which were very hard, almost crunchy. I don't know if this was the affect the chef was going for, but the texture was off-putting. The coffee, presented in a French press, was fantastic, and the service was first rate. I had a delicious French-style omelet, but again, it was advertised as a homemade rattetoui (sp), but what it amounted to was a streak of the mixture spooned on top of the eggs. I don't feel the dish it was fairly represented; at least I had different expectations.
Otherwise, the chef did deliver good flavors.
I might suggest that more generous portions would be a plus.
The dinner was fantastic! Great menu and selection, a little bit of everything. The only suggestion I can provide is to have a full bar. I really wanted to have a "drink" other than beer or wine. Great place, and yummy food.
Our favorite special occasion dinning place. Consistently good.
Best restaurant in Sacramento!! Always a memorable and delicious evening!!
Boulevard Bistro never disappoints. We were greeted warmly and so enjoyed our menu choices. We had the wedge salad and the filet. We are never rushed there and will return.
Everything was exceptional - just disappointed that they had changed their menu and taken off the lamb entrée.
Our anniversary dinner couldn’t have been any better! Our server took such good care of us - my son has a severe dairy allergy and he went out of his way to make sure my son got a perfect meal! And the food!!!! Mind blown!!! I love that the chef always comes out to check on us because it just makes the experience feel so much more special. This is our go-to restaurant when we want a glorious meal!!!
I made a reservation for 6:30 and mentioned it was for an anniversary celebration. We arrived shortly before 6:30 and were told our table wasn't ready. We waited for over 20 minutes before we were seated in the meantime being told that our table was being cleared. Just before I was ready to walk out, we were finally seated. Then in took another 15 minutes before anyone took our order. The food was very good but waiting around for over half an hour to be seated and waited on with a reservation was not good service.
Rad. They serve Todd Taylor wine.
What a great place. The menu was, what I would call, somewhat limited. However, I have no complaints with the food. Everything was awesome and tasty. My wife had the salmon and I had the pork chop. Both were great.
Service was excellent and the mood was very nice and relaxing. We will return.
Always friendly, excellent service. Creative dishes, such as my oxtails served over creamy polenta. I wish we had room for dessert. I know it would have been fantastic.
Wonderful evening and excellent food.
My favorite restaurant. New, expanded brunch menu. We are lucky to have this place.
A converted home with a homey feel. We were seated quickly by the friendly staff. The food was good, but small portions. Our daughter said it was the best soup she ever had. Desert was just right, and we had a nice chat with the chef on the way out. Plan for some time to eat and talk. It's not fast food.
I liked the food a lot particularly the tenderloin sandwich. It was the perfect place for a birthday brunch --low key, not too noisy and yummy choices. Would recommend.
As always we enjoyed our meal. We love coming here for brunch especially. Dinner is lovely too. We will continue to enjoy coming here as the staff always makes us feel welcome. The menu is unique each time. So glad this place was recommended to us, by several people.
One of our all time favorites!
It one of our favorite places to go. Love the food and service. Awesome, outstanding! We had the chicken, lamb, duck, appetizer and dessert. All yummy! We love the bread there too.
The food was very good in a wonderful atmosphere. Every dish served to our table was perfect. The service was outstanding.
This was our first time dining at Boulevard Bistro and we were not disappointed. The food was well prepared and presented, and the servers were all courteous and attentive. The menu is fairly small but that makes it a simpler process to order. Sometimes those huge menus at restaurants can be overwhelming! The restaurant is not pretentious and has a pleasant comfortable atmosphere.
Forty-fourth wedding anniversary.
