I brought my mom to Botticelli’s when she was visiting Austin and we had a great time. Our waitress was kind, helpful, and a sweetheart. We ordered meatballs for the appetizer and the bolognese dish and it was awesome. The noodles were perfect. I can’t wait to come back. This would be the perfect place for a date or special occasion. Super cute interior.
Have never had a bad thing on the menu! Highly recommend for a night out!
Birthday. It was a nice evening out. Food was good.
Food was delicious! It was a bit crowded (inside) but overall great place
Large portions, excellent menu items and attentive staff made for a great meal! Love the Chianti!
We had a party of 13 for a birthday celebration. This size of party can be difficult for many restaurants but Botticelli’s did a wonderful job of accommodating us! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the live music! The wait staff and band were amazing! Could not have been a better experience. Will definitely be returning for more celebrations!
The restaurant feels very run down since our last visit a couple years ago. Hallway, rugs, bathroom all need attention....replace dirty, tattered rugs, paint scratch walls, clean & paint bathrooms.
My wife and I celebrated our 28th anniversary at Botticelli's and while we would've preferred to have been seated in a booth, and a little bit quieter at our table (indoors; loud out back with the music on the patio makes sense), the food was wonderful and so was our overall experience.
Fabulous as always. Great food and wine and excellent service. My favorite Austin restaurant!
Excellent service and food. We will definitely be back
7 of us descended on Botticelli's Wednesday evening. It was cold in Austin. The restaurant was warm and inviting. Started with the house bread. and everyone ordered. Great Service. Good Food. Comfortable setting.
Botticellis is a lovely little gem of a restaurant located on one of the best streets in Austin. The entire evening was perfect. The lasagna of the day was fabulous and beautifully presented. GREAT sauce. Very nice choice of wines, although the reds were not served at the correct temp. Slightly warm. Delicious chocolate mousse for dessert and limoncello topped off a lovely evening.
Service was excellent and food was extremely delicious
I took my mom here for her birthday dinner on a Thursday night and had some trouble with my reservation. Unfortunately I believe Open Table automatically requested an outdoor table for me and that was unintended, as my mom lives on the beach and it was probably in the 40s and windy on this particular night. The staff was completely accommodating and helped us get seated at an indoor table right away, despite not having an indoor reservation on a pretty busy evening. The service was incredible. The bartender was our server and she was completely friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Her drinks were spot on as well. We ordered the Caesar, the mushroom soup special, the lasagna of the day and the chicken Marsala.... everything was amazing. Each dish had a bit of a unique spin on it compared to its traditional presentation. The mushroom soup was absolutely AMAZING for the cold, windy, wet night we visited. I brought some home for my husband and we’ve both been craving more all weekend. Overall a great little place for a small group or date. My mom loved it and felt very special because the restaurant was so “quaint, charming and delicious”. Kudos y’all!!! And thanks for being so accommodating with our reservation snafu!
I brought a group of five people for a Tuesday night dinner. I had made reservations and we were seated immediately. Service was very attentive and main courses arrived relatively quickly. A couple of us were disappointed that there was no eggplant parmesan on the menu. All of us agreed that our meals were delicious. We didn't get wine so I cannot comment on that. Room itself was relatively small and pretty tight but building was very historic. Somewhat noisy atmosphere. Very attractive patio out back. Prices were slightly high but in keeping with the South Congress location. I would definitely come here again.
The food, the service, the lighting, the patio! Everything about this restaurant is just delightful and delicious. Definitely try their Botticelli bread, AMAZING! Their pasta is clearly made in house and their attention to detail is impressive. This is such a special place that I look forward to coming to again and again.
Seated inside so it was a little too noisy for a business dinner. Other than the noise level, everything was great. Food was wonderful and the service was excellent.
All good. 3 out of 5 dishes were very good the other two were just ok. Love the vibe here and can at times be exceptional. The bartenders can sure make a great drink.
We had the lasagna and the duck. Both were outstanding. Service was as well. Only wish we lived in Austin to enjoy Botticelli's again!
Restaurant not very accommodating to onion allergy! I eat in NYC and never have problems! They will cook to order.
We loved our dinner and experience! We got there early and had a drink at the bar and met some great people. The drinks were fantastic and the wine was great! Our dinner was delicious and everything came out hot and timely. It was our first time eating here and we Will be back!!
The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Jacob was friendly, informative and great to converse with… Our soup, entrées and desserts were superb!
We love this restaurant. Excellence in everything they do. Lasagna was incredible and service was top notch. Well be back...again! Not our first visit.
5 stars all around! And the tiramisu is spectacular! Definitely save room for dessert.
My new favorite restaurant in Austin!!
Excellent as always
Amazing! Highly recommended. We will return! Highly attentive to you needs and the service is top notch.
Absolutely excellent meal! A great place!
Botticelli's never disappoints! The food is always amazing and the ambience is very comfortable.
Amazing. Best Italian food in the city
There was a party of 12+ that were so rowdy that it completely spoiled our dining experience -- never have I encountered such loud behavior at any Italian restaurant in Austin before. The food here is great, but would not recommend for special occasions, or if you'd like to enjoy a conversation while dining.
Met friends for dinner. Started on patio, but were moved to courtyard dirt area as a large party was arriving. They did tell us when we sat down, time escaped us though. Overall, the food (pork chop, salmon special, scallop/risotto and pasta) was wonderful and great value! Our waitress was very attentive and lots of fun! We will definitely return! The inside was too loud, for ease of conversation we had to sit outside ~ gorgeous weather too boot.
Friends from California came to visit and all agreed Botticelli was the perfect choic of a great restaurant!
If you go to Austin, we just celebrated our 19 year Anniversary at Botticelli’s on S Congress next to the Continental club. Matt (owner) is awesome! Service was perfect!
The food incredible. Ambiance in the front of the restaurant very cozy. Garden area more casual with music on certain nights. Italian... with more than a few family recipes...mussels, Botticelli bread, Ravioli in cream sauce and Tiramisu...amazing!!!
Showed up for our 8:30 reservation. When we entered the hostess informed us our table wasn’t ready and we could wait at the bar. We grabbed drinks and after 20 min asked about our Table he told us they were still waiting for the party to get up. Finally after another 10 min she walked passed us and said it’s ready. Walked to the table threw down the 3 menus and walked off. Like we bothered her Bc we had to wait an extra almost 30 min for our table. Other than her rudeness the food and our waiter were amazing. Just disappointed with the experience when we got there. Other than that could not have enjoyed the food more. It was great.
Food and service was wonderful! A bit noisy for a romantic evening, drinks were initially a bit slow, however was overall a great evening! We were seated in a booth which was perfect for us, but the other tables are very close together and there were some children.
I'd recommend if you're going to The Continental Club after dinner. We had the Botticelli Bread which is probably pretty good, but it was over cooked and black in places, the mussels were good, the house made pasta was really good (I had the carbonara), the risotto was so so and the dessert (some sort of lime/cherry cheesecake thing) was marginal. The service was very good. Ambiance was very nice even though it's a cramped space until it started to get busy. Who ever picks out the music does a great job. Overall I'd say it's good.
Went to Botticelli's in honor of my girlfriend's birthday. The food was fantastic. The wine was amazing. But the best part of the experience was Hillary, who provided the exact amount of service needed and who was quite knowledgeable about the wine selection. Her recommendation was spot-on, and greatly enhanced an already splendid evening. Thank you to Hillary, to the management, and the kitchen staff. Botticelli's is a 10/10.
Excellent appetizer of scallops with beet salad
Amazing poke chop and lasagna
Great selections and service !
