Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine - Orlando
Fantastic experience, as always. Excellent service and food.
Amazing food and service!!!!
Our welcome was friendly, our server Zara was wonderful! She explained the menu and offered suggestions to improve our experience. Everyone was attentive, including the manager and best of all the food was delicious. Overall a great dining experience.
Waitress was very attentive and food was great
The food was great but small location .super loud and wait staff very busy .love the winter park location this one not as much
Very nice service food was outstanding. It was very good experience for my client to try
I grew up on these types of turkish dishes and the lamb shank is better than my mother used to make.
All the food was excellent, tasty and fresh.
The value is excellent as well. Cant beat it. Must go!
my favorite restaurant since 2013
I travel to Orlando sometimes only to try the food.
Food was excellent. Server was personable and helpful.
We were seated promptly, we had great service, this place does get busy so I would recommend a reservation, the food was authentic and amazing(very large portions), and it has a nice overall atmosphere.
Small restaurant and very cramped - therefore very loud. However, food and service was excellent. Love the hummus and their signature Lava bread. White bean salad was fabulous - but huge, enough to feed four. The "mixed grill for two" was great in flavor, but all the meats were over cooked - sadly. Even the Turkish Rose wine was excellent. I will definitely return despite the over cooked meat as I've eaten here before and it's been worth it every time.
Excellent, everything and everyone were excellent....can’t wait to go there again.
Excelente food, excelent service but need more space for the tables
Lucky find; both my wife and myself love Turkish food and enjoyed this. This food and service were excellent! We will eat here again if we have the chance. Highly recommended
The food was authentic and delicious. Highly recommend. We ordered the sampler appetizer and 3 of us ordered the lamb for dinner. It was all cooked perfectly. One of us ate the chicken shish kabob and that was also delicious
Great Middle Eastern food, good service and small place ambiance with an outside seating.
We ate here several years ago and were extremely happy with the service and food. However, the management has clearly changed and lost some of that original touch. Following some of the areas that will need some improvement:
1. Waitress/waiter needs to be trained. It took several asks to get certain items
2. Pistachio gelato is extremely sweet and has been flavored with almond - did not eat
3. Turkish restaurant should serve very good tea! They brought tea which was not even brewed
4. The waitress should not ask how we want our ground beef based food such as Adana kebab. There should not be any pink in this type of products. For lamb and steak, it is ok to ask.
5. Lentil soup has lots of starch and far from the original taste
6. Staff members were generally very friendly
The problem might be out expectations from his Turkish restaurant as a Turkish family! Any average guest with limited knowledge may not notice all of these.
Feedbacks are important to get better. Therefore, I took time to enter this review.
Great food, the braised lamb was out of this world, the bread freshly baked and taste very good
We had four dishes. All excellent and generous portions. Our only complaint was it was a little too salty
The meal I had was good but the meal my husband had was not.
Our waitress was amazing
The food was delicious!!
As always, food and service was excellent. Best food of its kind in all of central Florida.
We were very impressed with our entire experience. The restaurant was cozy. It felt like a neighborhood favorite. The food was excellent. Try the Stuffed Grape Leaves, you will not be disappointed. The Turkish Wine Flight is recommended. A small sample of 4 very good Turkish wines. Finally, Ritchie, our waiter was great. He helped make a great dining experience even better. This is definitely a must do restaurant when you're in Orlando
Met friends there...I always go here when I am in Florida. Irinia was a fantastic waitress who knew everything about all the food and helped us make fantastic choices.
Awesome place. Awesome food. You have to eat here
I had the lamb shanks for my main course. It was below average. The lavas bread and hummus saved the day. The hummus was not anything to write home about but it was good enough. The fried zucchini is tasty but way too over-fried, and the salmon was blah. We were so disappointed we skipped dessert. And at almost $150 for dinner, I would not return here.
Dinner with family!
We found this listed as one of the top places in the Orlando area. The Dr. Phillips neighborhood has lots of restaurants in an affluent neighborhood. You have to be good to survive, or at least to stay busy. Adjacent restaurants had 2-3 parties when we left this place at 8PM, and Bosphorus was still packed. Go here for authentic Turkish food. Have the Lavas bread, just to be certain to have the universal Turkish experience. They charge over $10 for about $2 worth of hummus and cucumber sauce. Just chalk that up to the cost of being authentic - your cost, not theirs. I had a cucumber cocktail. It was refreshing. It was good. Get one of their Turkish drinks, even if you will never order it again. They are fine and you might find them exactly what you want next time, or you will then know what that unusual drink tastes like. We had the mixed grill for about $40. I ate leftovers for two more lunches, so I can justify the cost. And it was still delicious two days later on the third go'round. The underlying rice in this dish is some of the best rice ever. They make their Turkish drinks with sake, so they must know rice. I think $21 for two chicken skewers on rice is a total ripoff, so go big or stay home. IF you decide to go out, then go here, go big, and make it worth your time and money.
SIS Chicken was outstanding (one order enough for two people). Portions are large.
Wonderful food and service.
Overall Exceptional experience. Service was excellent & food was out of this world good!
Enjoyed all the food! Service could be a little less cheesy (sorry)
I like John - great service and expertise #puffybread
It was an exceptional dining experience. We love eastern Mediterranean food and this was without doubt some of the best we have had outside the region. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Virtually a fine dining experience but with a relaxed atmosphere. Great wine list too.
Great experience and large portion meals. Serve Patrick was amazing
Awesome food, drinks and atmosphere! Our server Richie was outstanding! We will dine here again!
Our waitress Iriana was outstanding she was knowledgeable and also made suggestions on pairings that were spot on
This place has the most amazing lamb shanks I've ever had. They're slow cooked and fall off the bone, then melt in your mouth. I highly recommend eating here.
Excellent option for Turkish Cuisine. Very well flavors, quality. Great opportunity to try new food.
BTW Service Very very well.
