We ordered a cocktail to begin with and an appetizer. 2 minuets after the app came, our meals came. 2 bites into our meals, the server brought the check. We were the only couple in the restaurant, so it’s not like they were trying to move us through to seat another party. We dropped $125 for the worst customer service in Vegas.
We went there for our Sunday night reservation and couldn’t locate the restaurant. We asked someone and they informed us the restaurant closes three days previously. OpenTable never notified us. Not the way to run a restaurant reservation website.
the Border Grill in the Fourm Shops closed on may 15th. the one in Mandalay Bay is still open and is one of the best Places to eat for Brunch.
We came here on Mother's Day for brunch with unlimited small plates. There were no complaints about the food and the price was a good value. We came early enough to avoid most of the holiday crowd. But the service was on the slow side with the heavy holiday volume and our server covering too many tables.
The special brunch menu consisted of a about 20 plates with two additional choices offered at the omelette station. Pricing was $42 for unlimited small plates for adults with bottomless mimosas for Mom and $10 for anyone else that wanted to go unlimited citrus champagne route. The guava empanadas were a great start and we gladly obliged when offered a second order, but don't eat too many and save room for your tapas. We tasted 12 of the tapas with our favorites being the tres leches French toast, the Baja ceviche, and the Peruvian shrimp and grits. Our least favorite was the breakfast fries, which seemed to be just a filler. If you're a heat-seeker, you won't be disappointed as most of the dishes have a little spice to kick things up.
We made the mistake of letting our server time the delivery of the courses and simply, the food was not brought out fast enough because our server had extended absences dealing with other tables which included two double-digit parties. By the time the two hour mark hit, we had received 12 of the tapas. I would say out of the 120 minutes we were there, 20 minutes of it were spent eating the small plates and 100 minutes were spent just waiting. We intended to try all 22 of the dishes, but after a certain amount of time, that window closes of being able to eat more and you just start to feel full. I'll cut them some slack with it being one of the busiest days of the year. And I'll definitely be back with a better game plan of taking the initiative and ordering 4-5 plates at a time at our own discretion.
We had a fantastic Mother's Day brunch. Normally we go for brunch buffets but the "as many small plates as you want" approach was a nice change. Everything was fresh and super tasty, and the server took the time to point out which options could be modified vegetarian. The plantain empanadas were so good we ordered them again! Service wasn't super quick but everyone was very friendly and helpful it was actually nice to have a leisurely brunch.
Excellent food and friendly service! Next time I am in Las Vegas I will make sure to dine there again.
Disappointing. LA restaurant much better. We were in for lunch; two people in the group of 6 had upset stomachs that evening (myself included). My corn tamales seemed undercooked and mushy and the tortillas for my fish tacos were not warm. Guacamole + drinks were good. Service decent.
I expected more from the food considering who the owners are, but unfortunately, the dishes were just OK. We went for Sunday brunch which is a great deal for the price, but the atmosphere and the dishes were lacking. The redeeming factor was bottomless Bloody Mary's.
We arrived on time for our Cinco de Mayo lunch. The dining room was half full during our entire meal so there wasn't a business impact explanation for the average to poor service and lack of attention details. The ceviche was a tad ripe and the brisket special was ground into a "potted meat" texture with little flavor. The recommended chile relleno burger had great flavor/texture but the fried were greasy and just room temperature. The salsas and guacamole were the only redeeming dishes on the table. So disappointed with this location at Caesars. The Mandalay Bay location is exceptionally better and more in keeping with the original quality of the Los Angeles original.
Weekend brunch was amazing! So much better than a buffet. Small plates are cooked to order and fresh when they arrive.
Went for brunch. I think ordering off the regular menu would have been better.
Food was excellent and Ernesto the server was even better.
Outstanding food. Great value for the dollar. Have already recommended to friends.
Amazing!!!! We went there on a monday and had food from their special "monday madness" menu. $20 unlimited tacos pp, $20 pitched of margarita. The food was perfect and everything came out fast. Would return any time.
$65 pitcher of margaritas that didn’t get me tipsy as a lightweight is an issue. I’m ok with buying a $65 pitcher but only if it actually has enough alcohol in it to justify $65
Got the Saturday brunch buffet here. Great value (in theory) and most of what we tried was pretty tasty. The service was quite slow, however. Each plate is individually ordered and brought out, so if there's a delay in this process, you are spending more time waiting around than you are eating. The best way to handle this wait is for the waitress to take your next plate order when she brings the current plate, but our waitress only did this once. There was a table of maybe 6 or 8 people behind us and perhaps they were the cause of our slow service, although this was pretty much the only other table there when we were there. It was quite a long wait between some plates. The servers who brought out our plates didn't take our next order (probably wasn't their job anyway) so we had to wait for the waitress to remember we were there to get our next plate order. Likely would have tried more plates had there not been such a long wait in between. The poor service and long waiting in between plates seemed to undercut any value associated with the buffet concept here; to me, it's not truly a buffet if I feel like I can't eat as much as I want in a reasonable time frame. Bit disappointing; would not recommend.
We were in a rush to catch a show & the waiter was fantastic to bring our food out immediately. The food is good and fresh.
A delicious find in Vegas! Out server, Shelby, kept our bottomless mimosas flowing and recommended an amazing selection of tapas! It will be hard to find a meal in Vegas that includes unlimited top shelf drinks and fine cuisine for $50 per person. Will definitely be back!
Jacqueline our server was great and all her suggestions were delicious!
waitress messed up our order but the rest was fine, food is great
Best brunch I’ve had in years. Delicious food and the mimosas are great. If you are lucky you will have Adrienne as your server. She’s the best!
Food was fantastic, however the service was less than desirable.
Great brunch. Selection was varied, with options husband and I both enjoyed. The benedict was my favorite but my husband loved the brisket slider. Bottomless mimosas hit the spot. Overall great experience, will be back.
Just steps from Las Vegas Boulevard, this restaurant was welcoming from the minute we got there. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Cocktails were great and the food was outstanding. Plenty of people watching available as this restaurant is in the main foyer just off the boulevard. We would definitely go again the next time we are in Las Vegas.
Service was good and friendly. Manager was so nice and friendly.
Food was just ok. Service was horrendous. Orders bottomless brunch. Bar was apparently too backed up to actually make our mimosas. The manager ended up removing the charge but the whole experience was annoying and underwhelming.
Always great, and dinner last night was no exception. The best upscale Mexican on the Strip.
Border Grill was fantastic! We went for Margarita Monday and were able to get a pitcher of margaritas for the table. I would definitely recommend this to friend.
Fabulous food! Excellent customer service! Highly recommend for brunch
Had an amazing bachelorette brunch at the Border Grill last Saturday! We chose this place specifically because there were two girls in our group who have celiac disease and Border Grill has a tremendous amount of gluten-free options for people with dietary restrictions. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable in the menu and our tapas came out regularly with the perfect amount of GF options in each round for the ladies who needed them. You really can't beat unlimited brunch for the price, and I only wish I wasn't so hungover from the night before that I would have been able to enjoy the flavored bottomless mimosas, too! Don't miss this place if you're staying at Ceasars or any of the nearby hotels - you won't be disappointed!
The Border Grill puts a modern spin on Mexican and does it well. Some who put themselves in the ""nuevo"" category get a bit over their skies. Not Border Grill. There's still a delicious authenticity to their new twists on old-time favorites. We love Mexican food and I especially love chili rellenos. Their relleno is a knockout -- hitting that delicate balance with just the right amount of batter, cheese and a perfectly cooked chili. (They also make a killer burger at lunch with a relleno on top.
The chicken enchilladas were also outstanding. Fantastic homemade chips paired perfectly with the yummy guacamole that was creamy and fresh. Prices for all this were reasonable-to-a bargain.
The only miss in my opinion was the dessert which was a banana cream and chocolate concoction. For me, it lacked a true dedication to bananas. The chocolate was a bit overwhelming and got in the way of the bananas. But considering this was the only thing I could take exception to, this was an outstanding meal and we will be back.
Food was sooooooo good love everything service was excellent man want to go back in the morning before we travel back home
We stopped here be for Elton John it is located at the bottom of the curved escalators in Caesars.
We had the mushroom quesadillas and a pork dish. For starter we had the queso fundido.
Food was very good but unless you have 4 in the party or are a big eater I would not order this appy before your meal. It is very filling. We barely touched our main dishes.
This is not a fancy place but it is good the coconut monitor is great and so is the jalapeno margarita.
Excellent food and over the top service. I would highly recommend
Kimberly was a great server and made our day! The food was pretty good too!
Border Grill was AMAZING! We went for the unlimited tapas brunch and it did not disappoint. The 2 of us sampled 12 different menu items and left comfortably full after our 2 hours. Liked the diversity of breakfast options and the ability to try so many different dishes with the tapas style setup. Would love to visit again and try a lunch/dinner menu!
We were there for the “Big Event” (Super Bowl party). At the beginning it was very unorganized—verifying reservations, getting wrist bans, etc. Stand in line to verify reservations, stand in another line to get wristbands, then stand in another line to get seated. Once inside however things went very smoothly. TVs were strategically place so the game could be seen wherever you sat. The wait staff were fantastic! And the food was really, really good—and lots of it!
Dinner before concert...
The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. I thought the food was well presented but I was underwhelmed by the flavors.
Food was good; service started out good but slipped at the end. Asked for our check and the waiter went to bar and made drinks (there was a bartender on duty) and then waited on two other tables as we sat and waited. Finally another server brought our check.
