The food was great as always. We go here a lot. My only concern is that they advertised the Sunday brunch to last until 3 pm and when we arrived for our 215pm reservation, they said they cut off the brunch food at 230 pm. So we had to rush through the brunch to get our food. The waiter was very helpful and rushed our order back, but they need to be more clear when they say the brunch ends at 3 that they really mean 230 p.m.
all my family got together for father's day/ we all had the brunch/ we sat outside/ had wonderful service by Erica/ bottomless bloody marys/ bottomless mimosas
Amazing food & drinks, friendly servers & a great atmosphere.
I usually love all the brunch offerings at Border Grill but this time around the food was very sub-par and the price has gone up since my last few trips.
Great food and service! Loved the chips and salsa. Fish tacos wonderful as well as the brisket taquitos. Enjoyed eating outside.
Very strange - food products actually in the water glass. We noticed un-used dishes, silverware and water glasses moved from one table to the next... clean, yes, maybe? But still seemed lazy and not professional. And the the worse - perhaps - was my drinking glass and water glass was sticky on the outside? Ewww ...
Always good food. Service was quite slow.
Trouble with dining credit and Mlife points but manager was excellent.
Always good food and ambiance here. Eat outside!
Really delicious, high-level Mexican food. Authentic flavors but with a sophisticated twist.
The food was outstanding and for Vegas prices, even better. We had the fish tacos and brisket taquitos. Wow! Excellent! Not as romantic as I hoped. We sat outside for ambience- eh, not so much, they desperately need to update the “tablecloths”. But don’t let that stop you from trying this restaurant. Highly recommend it.
Some of the best food and service I have ever had! Our wait staff was friendly and attentive offering excellent recommendations. The carne asada was so tender we could cut it with a butter knife -- you could tell every single item was hand made, even smelling how fresh the tortillas were. Portion sizes were perfect and satisfying without being too much or too little. Would definitely come here on a date or with a group.
Absolutely love this restaurant. I make it a point to eat there every time I go to Vegas. Wish there was a Border Grill close to where I live. I also recommend Border Grill to anyone who is going to Vegas and asks me for recommendations.
Great food, great ambiance. We make sure to have lunch or dinner here every time we are in town.
We tried Border Grill for Sunday brunch during a recent Vegas trip. The atmosphere is fun and laid back but the noise level can be quite high as the restaurant fills up. There were some stand out dishes on the brunch menu... chilaquiles, cinnamon roll pancakes, steak and eggs and the “PB and J” were among the best. Everything is served tapas style - small plates for one or two people to share. They offer bottomless mimosas for a reasonable upcharge. Service was very good. Not sure if we would be back for brunch as there are many great options but the restaurant itself is definitely worth a stop.
This is my favorite casual dining spot; I go every year while at Mandalay Bay. This visit, however, was a low point. Although I made a reservation a week in advance and requested a table with a view for my guests, I was given one of the least desirable tables in the restaurant. Walk-ins received better tables. We ordered the Fish Tacos - usually excellent - but on this day VERY DISAPPOINTING (although our waiter recommended them).
A bad day at the Border Grill...and no one seemed to care. Proceed with care.
Waitress was not the best
Food was good, for the price. The 4 of us ate for $100, unlike most places we went in Vegas on our trip which were more like $300+. I had fish tacos which were good, hubby and MIL had pastor (pork) tacos which I thought were just ok. FIL had sea bass which was served with head and tail on. He loved it, I didn’t try it. The chips were really good and we order two rounds of guacamole- yumm! They may have been better than the meal. Margaritas were decent too. We sat out on the balcony which overlooks the beautiful pool which was nice for ambiance. Not sure about the inside. Overall it was a good not great experience. I guess you get what you pay for
Pricing was a little high (most meals were a la carte). Creative menu, creative drinks. Yummy hot sauces to go with the chips (try the super hot one by request)!
Amazing food and great service at Border Grill. The whole group enjoyed the whole experience and will be recommending to friends. Thanks for a great brunch!
This is one of our favorite spots to grab brunch on the strip. We went there for brunch three years ago, and we really enjoyed the experience. My wife and I decided to go back because we loved the food and bottomless mimosas. The food was great again, but I think we got lost in the crowd as far as service was concerned. One of our food orders was forgotten about and took about 50 minutes to come out. Then our last set of tapas never arrived either. The server ended up comping our drinks, so it was nice to see them correct the situation. We’d definitely go back again.
We love this place and as Locals in Nevada make the trip to visit at least 2-3 times a year! Great food!
Great food and service. Loved the chips and salsa! The fish tacos were amazing as well. Will be back again.
Kind of disappointed. The guacamole was delicious. Food was pretty, but mediocre.
Fresh, good food each time I dine at this location. Good service, nice people, happy faces and I always want to come back for more.
Amazing vegan options!!
I always go to Border Grill when I am at Licensing Expo .. my favorite place for dinner.
The food we all had was mostly very good, some items were way too salty. The special Avacato Toast special was great. And they are good at a speedy lunch if you don't have much time.
Had such a great time at brunch bottomless mimosas are great !!! Everyone was so kind and the food was amazing.
Service was horrible! The waitress did not want to help us make an entree to our liking. Then ignored me and rather just talked to my husband.
Excellent, authentic Mexican food with great service. Unfortunately it was very loud and hard to carry on normal conversations. A group of partying girls also pushed the noise level over the top. Food & service was great but the atmosphere was lacking on this occasion.
Food was excellent but they sat us outside of the restaurant in the hallway near the convention center. They were hanging banners for a convention right next to our table so we had scissor lifts and constant beeping while we ate. I would go back but only if I could sit inside.
everything was great. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa+
Wrong item was brought to the table by the waitstaff, error was corrected immediately. Service was prompt, professional, and high quality. Food was exceptional, well presented, and delivered the expected excellence of world class chefs.
It wasn't terrible. Food was a bit overpriced but the drinks were STRONG!
I reserved for Mother's day dinner since a friend recommended it. It was pretty slow when we got there so we were seated quickly. The waiter was attentive but I honestly think the server did a better job. He recommended some foods as well as even hooked us up when it came time to pay the bill. The food looked amazing and the taste was equally pleasing and savory. The serving sizes were on the larger size. No one in my family could finish what we ordered individually so we got a box to go. I highly recommend the guacamole and the Yucatan pork, aka, Cochinita Pibil. It was delicious! The only thing that could have been better was the rice. it was hard and not fully cooked. If anything, just head on over and taste it for yourself.
We came here for Mother's Day Brunch (thirs year in a row). Food is real good, and service (once the food is out) is excellent. The problem is that the way it's organized makes it for a very long wait between orders. Took over 2 hours and the excuse that they were busy but doesn't fly (you know people are coming, get ready). We are locals and love to support our town and can't wait to go back, but they do need to figure out their timing issues.
Border Grill had great service and good food (especially good vegan options), but it was overpriced for the quality and amount of food received.
After being listed as a top spot for breakfast and wanting something elevated beyond the buffet, we were excited to try. After several people that arrived after us kept getting food, we were a bit surprised that all of our small plates were delivered late and all at once. Then we noted that the dishes were cold. Like cold to touch level of cold. They were replaced and brought back a few at a time, still not really hot. And we had a bird dive bombing us inside. There were buttons high on the wall labeled “bird chase” that the staff had no idea about. A manager came by to check on us, which was nice, but despite an apology there was no extra accommodation for all the hassle. Still pricey for breakfast and certainly not at any caliber higher than a standard casino buffet. For me, a one time visit.
Had us waiting an extended time when we saw that our table was cleaned off. No restrooms anywhere close to the restaurant. UNACCEPTABLE!!
