Great food and drinks, but expect to pay hotel prices at about double what you'd spend at an independent restaurant.
Food was amazing and well presented good service and the outdoor seating is great, margaritas were perfect! A little pricy but this is coming from a midwesterner so I would be biased.
Small plates were good. Some better than others. Chance to try different things. Waiter was not as attentive but was busy. Bloody Mary was not good.
Loved the food! Our server was the best! She gave great recommendations and was just overall awesome! My only complaint was all the pigeons that were hovering the patio area. They were savage vultures! You leave the table to go to the bathroom and that's when they attack your table for scrapes! The other table that left when they were done, the pigeons knocked over a glass off the table to get to the leftovers lol they need more spikes on the other ledge to deter them.
We needed a quick bite before our evening show. Border Grill had an opening and we made the reservation. Ruth took great care of us and had us out to see our show. The food was fantastic and extremely fresh. They also made special note of our allergies and consulted with the chef for alternatives. Great food and great service!!!
Great experience, food is fantastic and lots unique flavors snd dishes. The service was also great, attentive and friends.
Had an amazing experience, great outdoor dining area with heat and views of the lazy river. Delicious vegan dishes, the cevice and tamale were outstanding
Our group had mixed emotions about our dinner experience at Border Grill in January 2022. Nothing stood out save for the tasty guacamole and chips. Personally, we are not a fan of salsas that are basically served as sauces - and that’s what they were. While our short rib tacos and enchiladas were tasty - they were not worth $30, particularly given that they were not served with accompaniments. If I am going to pay those kind of prices, I am going to Javier’s.
We always try to hit Border Grill in Vegas. It was exceptionally busy and they were out of their specialty drinks, but service was good and food was as expected.
I am a bit disappointed that after making reservations, there is no place to request where you would like to sit. There were two choices, standard and outside. I find the table area to be so loud that you can not hear the person you are with. We were seated by Airey (who was delightful) in the loud section. I asked if we could sit in the bar which is actually a lot quieter. Airey found us a table and sat us immediately. Hector who was our server was wonderful, got us our drinks and food with no problems.
Phenomenal good and perfect service from very well trained staff. Would recommend to everyone!
Our server was incredible. Knowledgeable and kind.
Short rib in tacos was over cooked and tortillas were very soggy
Great food, especially the rainbow cauliflower tacos! The 3 street taco size tacos kept me appropriately full without being too much. It’s at the back of Mandalay Bay near the convention center. Only issue we had was trying to use the MGM Resorts gift card, gifted from the holidays. Border Grill is listed as a restaurant that accepts the card, which is why we made a reservation here, but their new computer system doesn’t have the option to enter them? Per the server. Weird and we spent almost $100 so that was a huge bummer to the budget and kind of ruined the whole evening out locally thing, not being able to use the card, the reason we went here.
You have got to try it! I have been here several times. The food is amazing.
It was good. Great customer service. Food was ok but a bit overpriced.
We tried their bunch in 2020 and loved it. We go together with friends Vegas for NYE and decided to revisit. Food was amazing as expected. Definitely will be coming back anytime we’re in Vegas. Staff was friendly and the device was exceptional.
Went for Sunday Brunch and was very disappointed. The food was cold and the drinks did not flow. Over priced and seemed to be an upscale version of frozen pre-made food.
I loved it. Only problem I had was most of the dishes were a little rich in taste (sauces). Shouldn’t be a problem for most people, but for those who follow a strict diet, they might not handle the extra calories so easily.
Went here for New Years brunch. This place, a normal favorite of ours was simply not ready for business. The dining room was not fully set, they opened a few minutes late, no biggie. But then the table moving and screeching sounds continued for 10 min as they were not ready to be open for business. Then I was told they did not have the coconut for pina coladas and was told they had been out a couple weeks, this in Vegas, which has hundreds of liquor stores. Simple laziness not to just go buy some. Then the brunch, while good temps on some dishes were cold, these were supposed to be hot dishes yet they were lukewarm, cold and or hot. I tried a couple things twice and got different temps on the food. Now the food was delicious on some plates. Others were meh! Anyways not a great impression for one of our favorite places. Disappointed:(. What’s worse is they don’t care to reply to reviews. They simply move on which will cost them our business in the future. Too bad
Very creative menu. Food and service was outstanding.
very high quality Mexican food great value for the money amazing drinks
Food seemed a little over priced. Ordered the skirt steak and it was fatty. For $32 I was expecting better quality. Had to ask for chips and salsa which I thought they would automatically bring it out, especially since it’s complementary. Felt rushed the entire time
It was really cold in the restaurant and we were put by the glass doors that don't close properly. Staff was not very helpful. Food was good, but the whole atmosphere was depressing
Went here for New Year’s Eve dinner. The food and overall experience was exceptional. Our server Josh was amazing, too!
Our server was very polite & helpful!
He even took our group photo! The food was great!
Food was amazing and service was great!!!
Will visit again for sure!
Wonderful food, drinks, and service. One of the best news we had in Vegas. Great for families and the guacamole is a must try!
Really good authentic Mexican food. Definitely will be back!
We went for an early (4:45pm) dinner on New Year’s Eve. Despite the place being fairly empty, our food took quite a while. The waitress was very nice and friendly but didn’t check in very often and it took a bit to get the check when we were done. The food itself was delicious. We got a mix of appetizers and tacos. The plantain empanadas and prime rib tacos were my favorites of what we ordered, and the Brussels sprouts were also very good. The tacos al pastor were underwhelming, especially considering the price, and there was so much sauce on the ahi ceviche that you really couldn’t taste the fish, so those dishes were a little disappointing.
Food was not tasty.
Very disappointed. I had prime rib tacos, sounds great right...
Gristly over cooked prime rib, with cheese grits?
Tacos El Pastor was over cooked pork in bar-b-que sauce.
Child's menu burrito was made with black beans. Not great for kids.
I think it was supposed to be fusion but ended up tasting like someone cleaned the leftovers out of the office refrigerator and put it on tortillas.
The guacamole and chips were very good.
They didn't take the dinner that was uneaten off my bill, they gave us one ice cream to split between three people instead. The waitress was off in the distance chatting while we tried to get her attention.
Disappointed. I prefer to write good reviews.
When your picky kids like it, you know it's good. No complaints from anyone in my family. I recommend the flautas and tortilla soup.
Everything we are was too hot in flavor. Not my fancy. Food quality woad excellent. Great service. You need to like spicy Latin food. I had to find some tummy’s.
Great food and service.
The food was incredible. Our server Katie was perfect, not too much, but definitely knew our needs before we even had to ask and took really great care of our family.
The mix of Mexican and Peruvian food was spectacular
Food was pretty greasy. Pigeons flying all around the patio outside, you had to basically guard your food. Our server was good but the food was definitely less than mediocre. I rarely post reviews so you know it wasn’t good if I post.
Food was delicious! Great view overlooking the pool area. As per normal it's a little pricey because it's Vegas but some of the best Mexican food I've ever had.
The service and environment were spectacular! Highly recommend!
