Value for what was served was not there. Grouper $33 for a piece smaller than the palm of my hand and sea scallops medium size but only 6 on plate for over $30 with a few spinach leaves and a few fingerling potato’s.
We had an amazing time together as it was our 1st date and had a wonderful experience! Definitely plan to come back soon!
Thanks for the service!
My wife & I just were not impressed at all. I have been to restaurants all across the USA and this just was not worth it to me. The food was average at best IMO and for the price, just not a good value.
We had a delayed Mother’s Day celebration and so glad we decided to go to Bon Appetit. Everything was perfect.
This was the first time we went to Bon Appetit. It was ver good and we will be back. Great view of the sunset on the Gulf.
Lobster great. Lamb chops superb
We live in Dunedin and have been going there for years. The menu has changed a few times but always for the better. It is the best place to go for food and the scenery.
Excellent Mother’s Day menu
Our waiter, Robert was excellent. Filet Mignon tender but tasteless, crab cakes too spicy, asparagus undercooked. Mice atmosphere. Perhaps quality suffered as it was Mother's Day crowd. Also advertised piano and did not deliver, no music. Picked it because my mom loves good piano.
Pricey but worthy it - fabulous Mother's Day Brunch. Food was wonderful, great variety, my kids loved it, wonderful view, and service.
Did not disappoint! Beautiful view, tasty nfood, appropriate table settings for mothers day!
Somewhat pricey though. But for a 4 course meal on a special day, OK.
Expensive Mothers Day! Good food, waiter and atmosphere.
Austin our waiter was amazing!!! Any restaurant that has Austin turns in to a 5 star restaurant. The location is great, you have an outside area and inside area. Food is a little above par, great for special occasions because its a little pricey.
Lamb Chops were thin and tasteless
Services seemed confused
My husband and I celebrated Mother’s Day on Saturday night with a delicious meal at Bon Appetit. We both ordered the French Onion Soup and the Lobster Tail dinner. The soup was very thick, cheesy, and tasty. Such a delight! The 8 oz lobster tail was succulent. It was served with finger potatoes and asparagus. To complete our dinner, we ordered a slice of key lime pie, which was refreshing. Bon Apetit never disappoints. The service was excellent also.
my husbands lobster tail was not cooked through so he sent it back. Instead of giving him a new lobster tail ( must say at almost $40) they just heated the one he was eating. I think a restaurant like this should have given him a new meal.
Fantastic good and great service.
Lunch was all but perfection. My husband had to send back his gumbo because it wasn't hot. Then, all was perfect. What a wonderful spot to relax on the water and be served.
Great dinner celebrating my son’s birthday. Everything was delicious and the view was wonderful . We had a really great time. Will bring my family from Palm Beach the next time they are in town.
Brought our grandmother to celebrate her college graduation. She and my spouse greatly enjoyed their meals; however, I thought my lobster role was not up to par.
Michael, our waiter, was a gem.
We had asked for good water view seating and, again, did not receive it. Since our granddaughter is from Virginia and loves the water/beach, we were quite disappointed.
Fantastic dining experience ! Went here with friends for our last night in Clearwater Beach. Was looking for a well-rated, waterfront restaurant to see the gorgeous west coast sunset and this restaurant far surpassed our expectations. We initially were seated outside but it was so windy we moved inside, which I would recommend if you are looking for a more formal dining experience with white glove (and napkin) service! Each of the four food selections for our group was amazing: I had the Steak Tartare while the others in our group had the Lobster Avocado Stack (delicious !), the Beets and Burrata (she loved it and so did I), and the Monday "Comfort Food" special: Fettuccine with Mushrooms and Pancetta. I tried all of the selections and found them to be superb. As a bonus, our French-speaking waiter, Robert, who provided excellent service, turned out to be a waiter from a restaurant we frequented about 30 years ago near a former Long Island home. The environment was spectacular, overlooking the water facing west, and the sunset was postcard-perfect, as was the food and the service. Loved it !
Bon Appetite is our most favorite restaurant---its the best!
Menu has more of a Greek flair. Very crisp and good Caesar salad and Greek salad. Red Snapper and Grouper were fresh and outstanding. Wine list is short but sufficient. Enjoyed a very reasonably priced Italian Pinot Grigio. Dessert menu did not appear to offer anything special and passed on it.
We enjoyed our drinks, dinner and dessert. We went for a sunset dinner for our 10 year Anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had the grouper and snapper with were very tasty. Although our experience was a good one, it may have been a tad overpriced. For me, this would be a special occasion only restaurant. When making a reservation, they ask if it’s a special occasion so of course I said it’s our anniversary. When presented our Check we were given an envelope that was their gift to us.....well not exactly. It contained a certificate of a complementary bottle of house champagne on our next visit of a party of 4 or more? That was more of an insult to me. As our bill for the two of us more than covered a bottle of champagne. It was a gift with strings. Thanks but no thanks......
Food was delicious and ambiance wonderful. Love this restaurant. Our new favorite!!!
The food was very good. View was very nice. Our waiter seemed a bit grumpy. I am not sure if
It was because we had a 4 year old who was behaving fairly well, or because we did not agree to some
Of the most expensive items he was pointing out. We were really surprised when he tried to talk me out of a daily special that I had read good things about.
Solid as always in both service and food quality. A local "go to" for fine dining with a view. Only disappointment was having 7 adults seated at a 6 top table. Made it a bit too tight, even for us good friends.
Hubby and I needed a quiet get away day. We live approximately 50 minutes north but so worth the drive. Food was amazing staff was professional and courteous. We will definitely go back and recommend to others
Having guests from GB, thought this would be nice to have dinner and watch the sunset. This is a lovely waterside restaurant with inside and outside bars. Kimi, the bartender is wonderful! Our meals were excellent, the service was nice and its a great place to dine if only other diners would be a bit more considerate of those around them. Ive noticed this in a lot of restaurants, people think and act like they are dining at home and while its great to enjoy your friends with lively conversation, show a little consideration for others and take it down a notch.
Excellent service, great food. Our waiters name was Alex. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Our first time there but he made us feel like regulars.
Staff very friendly but service a little slow. Dropped one plate on floor when serving sadly. Food was delicious though.
consistent service and food
always satisfied and reliable
Bon Appetit is my favorite restaurant for my birthday celebration. My husband and I love the view of the water and have caught many beautiful sunsets. Our filet mignon and lobster tail were done to perfection, the salad and rolls were fresh, and dessert choices were excellent.
This restaurant is one of our favorites to visit each year. It has a beautiful view of the water, ambience is very nice and our meal is always outstanding. We also loved our server Michael! He was very friendly, attentive and answered all our questions when ordering. It’s always so worth the little drive over from Clearwater!!
It was good but too expensive. my steak was over cooked, had a lot of gristle and lacked enough seasoning. It’s fine, but I prefer a place like Eddie Vs in Tampa for far superior tasting food for the price. The view of the Gulf is nice. Music outside was too loud. Dessert was tasty - key lime pie.
The food and the sever was excellent. The only disappointment was the table. My wife and I were put in the corner where only one of us could really see the view. Maybe next time the seating will be better.
We have always liked this restaurant and it did not dissappoint.
Great atmosphere! Decent food. Service was painfully slow and we were left wondering where our drinks were and if we could order our food, but still very nice waitress. Great view of the sunset which was awesome! Sitting outside was lovely. Had a live band that played great music and was not too overbearing and added to the atmosphere. Drinks were SUPER weak, sangria tasted more like flavored water. Might have just been unlucky that day.
