We thought that this was a steakhouse or something due to the information we could find and their specialty steaks but this is really just a truck stop restaurant with some quirky souvenirs and wild west stuff. If you're on a road trip it could be a cool stop but I wouldn't drive up from Boise like we did. They have some $40 steaks that I would hope are good but we couldn't afford those.
I don't often get to Boise but a few months ago, while there we visited the Boise Stage Stop. I was so impressed with the place we decided to go there again. The first time we visited I wasn't expecting much and was shocked by the quality and portions of there meals. This time we noticed a change in the decor (loved it) and a new menu. I had the peppercorn steak dinner and my husband had Mexican food, and we both were very happy with our selections. The food was delicious and our waitress was delightful. I still think it is the neatest thing that they grow most of their own produce and have an aeroponic towers inside of the building. I would highly recommend this place.
