    Great place. Service was great and food was incredible. I had the New York Strip and it was one of the best streaks I've ever had. The Mac and cheese was awesome too.

    We were in town for AWBD conference and had a reservation for dinner at Bohanan. We ate at Bohanan for the first time about 4 years ago and absolutely loved it so it was a no brainer to eat there again. There was 8 of us and we all loved the food we ordered. Our server/ host Danny G was just outstanding doing his job. To top our evening off we ordered the banana foster flambé which was made at our table. I will always choose Bohanan when in San Antonio for great eating.

    High quality and very classy experience. Well trained staff and outstanding menu. A bit louder than I prefer yet is was a very busy night for large parties at the restaurant.

    I have dined there multiple times and has always been a great experience until last night. Steak was subpar and service was below standards. My wife had to go to their tea station to pour refills. My guests and I has to pour our wine which we didn’t mind but that’s not what you expect from a 300 dollar plus bottle purchase.

    I was assigned picking a restaurant in San Antonio. We did not want to be on the riverfront but still in the downtown area and Bohemen seemed to be a great spot. The ground level is lovely but if you're taking the elevator upstairs, it becomes truly elegant. All three of our meals were fantastic. Great wine selection.superior service.

    We went to celebrate our anniversary, while the staff were great, the food was not up to par with what I considered fine dining. As a matter of fact the steak lacked flavor, the dishes were uninspired. The bread was cold. The only bright spots were the scalloped potatoes and the Moscato. Our expectations of this restaurant were high, but the results were disappointing. Texas deserves better steak. There are better chain restaurants steakhouses in the area that are, in my opinion miles ahead.

    This was our first visit to Bohanan's Restaurant. My wife and I had reservations at 7:15 PM and were promptly seated on the second level. After dinner, we returned to the street level lounge and enjoyed a group playing wonderful jazz music. David the maître d was professional and very  personable. Our server, Dooly, was equally personable and professional with one exception, he asked if I was "still working" on my entree prior to removing my plate. This is a "pet peeve" of mine with many servers, simply ask if "I am still enjoying" what ever food dish is in front of me. When I'm dining, especially in a 5 star restaurant, I'm Not Working"! Last....Bohanan's has a posted dress code on its website and on the glass door entry to the restaurant. While dining, a man was seated at a four top near us wearing a non-collared tee shirt and gargo shorts. We also witnessed a man in a ball cap style cap being seated. I specifically chose Bohanan's because of the great reviews and dress code. It is a shame the restaurant management fails to enforce the dress code. I still rate Bohanan's five stars. Ken
